Abstract
Description
本発明は、例えば、スマートフォン、タブレット等の携帯機器に使用される電池やコンデンサ、電気自動車、風力発電、太陽光発電、夜間電気の蓄電用に使用される電池やコンデンサ等の蓄電デバイス用の包装材に関する。 The present invention provides, for example, packaging for power storage devices such as batteries and capacitors used in mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, electric vehicles, wind power generation, solar power generation, and batteries and capacitors used for storing nighttime electricity. Regarding materials.
During the battery manufacturing process, if the surface of the packaging material, which is the material of the case, is scratched, the appearance of the product will be spoiled. In order to prevent the occurrence of such poor appearance during the manufacturing process, a measure is taken in which a protective tape is attached to the packaging material and the protective tape is peeled off after the manufacturing process is completed. The protective tape is required to have adhesiveness so as not to be peeled off during the manufacturing process. Moreover, in a packaging material having a colored layer containing carbon black laminated on the surface, the colored layer may peel off together with the protective tape.
このような保護テープに関する問題点に対し、従来は、保護テープの剥離後の糊残りに対しては保護テープの粘着力で対応していた(特許文献1参照)。また、着色層の剥離に対しては着色層を強化する技術が提案されている(特許文献2参照)。 In order to deal with such problems related to the protective tape, conventionally, adhesive residue after peeling of the protective tape was dealt with by the adhesive strength of the protective tape (see Patent Document 1). In addition, a technique for strengthening the colored layer has been proposed for peeling of the colored layer (see Patent Document 2).
しかしながら、特許文献1の技術は包装材における糊残りの防止対策ではない。また、特許文献2の技術は、最外層がカーボンブラック含有の着色層ではない包装材については糊残りの問題の解決にはならない。
However, the technique of
上述した背景技術に鑑み、本発明は、電池用包装材の表面に、保護テープが不本意に剥がれず、かつテープの粘着剤を残さずに剥離できる、という相反する特性を付与することと、テープの粘着剤残りによる見映えが悪くなることを防止することを目的とする。 In view of the above-described background art, the present invention provides the surface of a battery packaging material with contradictory properties such that the protective tape is not unintentionally peeled off and the tape can be peeled off without leaving the adhesive; To prevent deterioration in appearance due to adhesive residue on a tape.

The battery packaging material according to any one of the preceding
In the battery packaging material described in [1] above, the surface properties are defined by three different types of solid fine particles contained in the substrate protective layer and the projections formed by these solid fine particles. That is, in a plan view of the substrate protective layer, the area ratio of the portion of the protruding portion having a height of 1 μm or more from the reference plane of the arithmetic mean height Sa is specified to be 5% to 20%. And according to the specified surface properties, when the protective tape is applied, areas with a large amount of adhesive and areas with a small amount of adhesive are mixed finely, so that the adhesive strength can be maintained when necessary and can be easily removed after use. It can be peeled off, and adhesive residue is less likely to occur after peeling.
上記[2]に記載の電池用包装材によれば、固体微粒子としてのワックス、樹脂ビーズ、無機微粒子のそれぞれの各平均粒径および含有率、ならびに3種類の固体微粒子の合計含有率を規定することにより、所期する表面性状が形成され、保護テープを剥離した後の糊残りが抑制される。 According to the battery packaging material described in [2] above, the average particle size and content of each of wax, resin beads, and inorganic fine particles as solid fine particles, and the total content of three types of solid fine particles are defined. As a result, the desired surface properties are formed, and adhesive residue after peeling off the protective tape is suppressed.
上記[3]に記載の電池用包装材によれば、選択されたワックスにより規定された表面性状が形成され、保護テープを剥離した後の糊残りが抑制される。 According to the battery packaging material described in [3] above, the selected wax forms a defined surface texture, and adhesive residue is suppressed after peeling off the protective tape.
上記[4]に記載の電池用包装材によれば、選択された樹脂ビーズにより規定された表面性状が形成され、保護テープを剥離した後の糊残りが抑制される。 According to the battery packaging material described in [4] above, the surface texture defined by the selected resin beads is formed, and adhesive residue is suppressed after peeling off the protective tape.
上記[5]に記載の電池用包装材によれば、選択された無機微粒子により規定された表面性状が形成され、保護テープを剥離した後の糊残りが抑制される。 According to the battery packaging material described in [5] above, the selected inorganic fine particles form a defined surface texture, and adhesive residue is suppressed after peeling off the protective tape.
上記[6]に記載の電池用包装材によれば、選択されたバインダー樹脂と保護テープの粘着剤の接着適性が良好であるので、突出部と突出部以外の部分とで接着力に差を付けることができる。 According to the battery packaging material described in [6] above, since the selected binder resin and the adhesive of the protective tape have good adhesion aptitude, there is no difference in adhesive strength between the projecting portion and the portion other than the projecting portion. can be attached.
上記[7][8][9][10]に記載の電池用包装材は着色剤により着色することで、バリア層の光の反射を抑えられるので、保護テープの糊残り部分の視認性が向上し、糊残りの判定がしやすくなる。また、意匠性も付与できる。 The battery packaging material described in [7], [8], [9], and [10] above is colored with a coloring agent to suppress the reflection of light on the barrier layer, so that the visibility of the adhesive residue of the protective tape is improved. It improves and makes it easier to judge the adhesive residue. In addition, designability can also be imparted.
図1に、本発明の電池用包装材の一実施形態を示す。 FIG. 1 shows one embodiment of the battery packaging material of the present invention.
以下の説明において、同一符号を付した層は同一物または同等物を表しており、重複する説明を省略する。 In the following description, layers with the same reference numerals represent the same or equivalent items, and overlapping descriptions are omitted.
[電池用包装材の実施形態]
図1の電池用包装材1は、バリア層11の一方の面に第1接着剤層12を介して基材層13が貼り合わされ、他方の面に第2接着剤層14を介して熱融着性樹脂層15が貼り合わされ、さらに前記基材層13に基材保護層20が積層されている。
[Embodiment of battery packaging material]
In the
In the
電池用包装材1の外側表面は、貼り付けた保護テープが不本意に剥がれることなくしっかりと付いている必要があるが、保護テープが不要になればテープの粘着剤を残さず、かつ貼り付けた面を傷つけることなくきれいに剥がすことができる、という相反する特性が求められる。
The outer surface of the
(基材保護層)
基材保護層20は、電池用包装材の表面に良好な滑り性を付与して成形性を向上させるとともに、優れた耐薬品性、耐溶剤性、耐摩耗性を付与する層である。
(Base material protective layer)
The substrate
前記基材保護層20は、バインダー樹脂21と後述する複数種の固体微粒子22を含む樹脂組成物の硬化膜である。硬化膜中の固体微粒子22の一部はバインダー樹脂21中に埋もれているが、一部は表面から外方に突出して突出部30を形成している。従って、基材保護層20の表面は、バインダー樹脂21による極微細な凹凸のみならず、突出部30による大きな凹凸が形成されている。
The substrate
Since the
保護テープの必要時の接着力と用済み後の易剥離性のバランスは基材保護層20を構成する樹脂組成物の組成および基材保護層20の表面性状に影響を受け、これらを規定することにより適正なバランスを得ることができる。
The balance between the adhesive strength of the protective tape when needed and the easy peelability after use is influenced by the composition of the resin composition constituting the substrate
前記基材保護層20を構成する樹脂組成物は、バインダー樹脂21と、固体微粒子22としてワックス、樹脂ビーズ、無機微粒子の3種類を含んでいる。
The resin composition constituting the base material
As the
Further, the binder resin may be a base resin containing at least one resin described above and a curing agent for curing the base resin. The curing agent is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately selected according to the main resin. As a curing agent, isocyanate compounds such as hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), tolylene diisocyanate (TDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), xylylene diisocyanate (XDI), or modified products of these isocyanate compounds can be mentioned.
前記硬化剤は前記主剤樹脂100質量部に対して5質量部~30質量部を配合することが好ましい。5質量部未満では基材層13への密着性および耐溶剤性が低下するおそれがある。また、30質量部を超えると、基材保護層20が硬くなって成形性が低下するおそれがある。
The curing agent is preferably blended in an amount of 5 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the main resin. If the content is less than 5 parts by mass, the adhesion to the
As the solid
After the battery cells are filled and sealed, the battery packaging material is subjected to a degassing step in which high temperature and high pressure are applied while the protective tape is attached to degas the battery. The three kinds of fine particles of wax, resin beads, and inorganic fine particles have different hardnesses even at high temperatures, so that predetermined surface properties can be secured even after the degassing process. Wax has a low cross-linking density and a low heat resistance temperature, so it can be softened during the degassing process and deformed from a spherical shape to a flat shape. Since the resin beads have a high cross-linking density and a higher heat resistance temperature than the wax, they hardly deform during the degassing process and maintain their spherical shape, preventing extreme deformation of the wax. The inorganic fine particles have a much higher melting point than the resin beads and are hard, so they are not deformed in the degassing process.
前記基材保護層20の表面性状は、平面視において、前記突出部の、算術平均高さSaの基準面から高さ1μm以上の部分の面積率が5%~20%であることを要する。
Regarding the surface properties of the substrate
FIG. 2 schematically shows contour lines at a height of +1 μm from the reference plane of the arithmetic mean height Sa in the surface unevenness image of the surface of the substrate
The planar view area ratio of the portion of the protrusion having a height of 1 μm or more indicates the degree of unevenness of the surface. The smaller the plan view area ratio, the lower or fewer the
また、上述した基材保護層20の表面性状を得るために、即ち、高さ1μm以上の部分の平面視面積率を5%~20%にするために、3種類の固体微粒子の平均粒径および含有率を以下の範囲とすることが好ましい。
In order to obtain the surface properties of the substrate
The average particle size of wax is preferably 5 μm to 20 μm, the average particle size of resin beads is preferably 1 μm to 10 μm, and the average particle size of inorganic fine particles is preferably 1 μm to 10 μm. Particularly preferred average particle diameters are 5 μm to 15 μm for wax, 1 μm to 5 μm for resin beads, and 1 μm to 5 μm for inorganic particles. It is preferable that the three types of solid fine particles have a wax particle size larger than that of the resin beads and the inorganic fine particles so that
In addition, the preferred content of the solid fine particles in the substrate
The wax acts as a lubricant, reduces adhesion to the protective tape, and contributes to keeping the area ratio of projections having a large particle size of 1 μm or more within a predetermined range. The resin beads produce a fine unevenness effect and prevent the wax from being deformed excessively by the heat during sealing. The inorganic fine particles contribute to setting the heat resistance, glossiness, and color tone within predetermined ranges. By setting the contents of wax, resin beads, and inorganic fine particles to the above values, the effect of each particle can be exhibited in a well-balanced manner.
前記固体微粒子は、ワックス、樹脂ビーズ、無機微粒子の各カテゴリーから少なくとも1種を含有していることが要件であり、1つのカテゴリーから2種以上を含有してもよい。また、各カテゴリーに属する微粒子として下記のものを挙げることができる。 The solid fine particles are required to contain at least one kind from each category of wax, resin beads, and inorganic fine particles, and may contain two or more kinds from one category. Moreover, the following can be mentioned as microparticles|fine-particles which belong to each category.
The waxes include natural waxes and synthetic waxes. Synthetic waxes are widely used in paints, inks, and adhesives because their physical properties can be easily controlled. Examples of synthetic wax include polyethylene wax, polypropylene wax, and polytetrafluoroethylene wax. Polyethylene wax and polypropylene wax have many choices of particle size, and it is easy to adjust the degree of roughening by the amount added. Polytetrafluoroethylene wax has better slipperiness than polyethylene wax or polypropylene wax, and has a high melting point, so that it is less likely to be deformed during sealing at high temperature and can maintain slipperiness.
前記樹脂ビーズとして、アクリル樹脂ビーズ、ウレタン樹脂ビーズ、ポリエチレン樹脂ビーズ、ポリスチレン樹脂ビーズ、シリコーン樹脂ビーズ、フッ素樹脂ビーズを例示できる。 Examples of the resin beads include acrylic resin beads, urethane resin beads, polyethylene resin beads, polystyrene resin beads, silicone resin beads, and fluorine resin beads.
前記無機微粒子として、シリカ、アルミナ、カオリン、酸化カルシウム、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、ケイ酸カルシウムを例示できる。樹脂ビーズより粒径の小さい無機微粒子の添加によって、塗膜の光沢度(艶消し)の調整が容易になる。 Examples of the inorganic fine particles include silica, alumina, kaolin, calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and calcium silicate. Addition of inorganic fine particles having a particle size smaller than that of the resin beads facilitates adjustment of the glossiness (mattness) of the coating film.
In the present invention, the wax is added mainly to form large unevenness on the coating film to impart a slipping effect to the surface of the coating film, and the resin beads are mainly added to form fine unevenness on the coating film. It is added to impart a light diffusion effect (matte effect) to the film surface. For example, the polyethylene wax is added as a roughening agent to facilitate deformation and functions as a lubricant, and the polyethylene resin beads are added as a matting agent. Further, due to the difference in effect between wax and resin beads, as described above, it is preferable that the average particle size of wax is larger than the average particle size of resin beads.
また、前記基材保護層20には、バインダー樹脂21よび固体微粒子22の他に、滑剤および/または界面活性剤が添加されていてもよい。滑剤および界面活性剤は保護テープの粘着剤の粘着力を低下させる効果があり、これらが基材保護層20の表面に析出することにより、保護テープの剥がれ性が良くなり糊残りを発生しにくくする。
