Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a loaded weight estimation device, a vehicle equipped with the loaded weight estimation device, and a loaded weight estimation program.
2. Description of the Related Art In various situations, it is required to objectively grasp how much weight of cargo is loaded on the carrier of a vehicle. Information on the load weight of cargo can be used by manufacturers who develop vehicles to understand how the vehicles are used, and can be utilized in the development of new vehicles. Second-hand car dealers can estimate the degree of damage to the vehicle, which can be used to determine the selling price. A user of the vehicle can recognize the overload and adjust the load amount. Conventionally, there is known a technique for estimating the weight of the entire vehicle from wheel speed, engine speed, turbine speed of a transmission, throttle opening, and the like (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Mounting a dedicated device for measuring the load weight of cargo leads to an increase in vehicle cost. As a matter of course, it is impossible to grasp the load weight of a vehicle that is not equipped with such a dedicated device. In addition, there is also a method in which the person in charge of the manufacturer interviews the vehicle users to understand how the vehicle is used, but the content may lack accuracy and objectivity.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and provides a loaded weight estimating device or the like that can estimate a loaded weight simply but with high accuracy by making use of devices equipped in recent vehicles.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Hereinafter, the present invention will be described through embodiments of the invention, but the invention according to the scope of claims is not limited to the following embodiments. Moreover, not all the configurations described in the embodiments are essential as means for solving the problems.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an overall environment in which an
The
The
The
The
The
In this embodiment, it is assumed that the load weight of the luggage loaded on the
When the load is biased toward
When the weight of the cargo is relatively large compared to the weight of the occupant, the payload of the
FIG. 3 is a graph showing the angular velocity ratio to vehicle speed for each load weight, which was actually measured in a certain vehicle. The horizontal axis is the vehicle speed (V), and the vertical axis is the angular velocity ratio (ωr/ωf) of the vehicle.
The plotted data indicated by △ are the measured values when a load of 2300 kg is loaded on the bed, the plotted data indicated by □ are the measured values when a load of 2800 kg is loaded on the bed, and the plot data indicated by ○ are the measured values when a load of 3600 kg is loaded on the bed. Each straight line indicated by a dotted line is a regression line for the actual measurement value of each load weight.
As can be seen from the figure, with the same load weight, the angular velocity ratio tends to increase as the speed increases, and it can be said that the smaller the load weight, the greater the change (slope of the regression line). According to experiments conducted by the present inventor, such a tendency was conspicuous when the target vehicle was an FR vehicle and a four-wheel drive vehicle. One of the reasons for this is thought to be that in these vehicles, as the vehicle speed increases, the drive shaft presses down on the rear wheels, resulting in windup, and the smaller the load weight, the greater the effect of the load.
The characteristics of such an angular velocity ratio to vehicle speed differ from vehicle to vehicle. Therefore, a template is created in advance by acquiring experimental data while varying the weight of cargo to be loaded on the carrier for each vehicle type. In the template, for example, information about the regression line of the angular velocity ratio to the vehicle speed is described for each constant weight (for example, every 50 kg) with respect to the assumed load weight. The
The
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the hardware configuration of the
プロセッサは、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)やGPU(Graphics Processing Unit)等の演算処理チップと連携する構成であってもよい。
The
The
Note that the
The
FIG. 5 is a flowchart for explaining the process of estimating and recording the loaded weight. The flow starts when an instruction to collect data is given. It is assumed that
In step S101, the
In step S<b>105 , the
In step S107, the estimating
The
The estimating
Also, the velocity V, the angular velocities ωf and ωr are transmitted to the information management server as general parameters for monitoring the state of the
On the other hand, since the load weight estimation described above is not a computational process with a large load, instead of executing the calculation processing in the information management server, the ECU of the
In the embodiment described above, the loaded weight is estimated by focusing on the change in the angular velocity ratio ωr/ωf between the
