Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a microwave oven packaging material decorated with metallic luster.
Packaging materials are sometimes decorated with a high-brightness metallic luster in order to produce a sense of quality and splendor of the items to be packaged. As such decoration means, it is common practice to form a vapor-deposited film of a metal such as aluminum.
However, when a metal deposition film such as aluminum is formed in a packaging material for microwave ovens, when heated in a microwave oven, sparks are generated due to irradiation of microwaves, which may cause malfunction or fire of the microwave oven. There is a risk of causing accidents such as Therefore, a packaging material having a vapor-deposited film of a metal such as aluminum cannot be practically applied as a packaging material for microwave ovens.
In order to solve such problems, a packaging material for a microwave oven has been proposed, which is decorated with a metallic luster by forming a glossy printed layer containing specific metallic flakes (see
However, in such packaging materials for microwave ovens, sufficient specular reflection cannot be obtained in the glossy print layer, and therefore, there is a problem that it is difficult to decorate with a high gloss metallic luster.
On the other hand, as a packaging material suitable for microwave ovens and having light shielding and gas barrier properties, a substrate film, a transparent ceramic deposition layer, a transparent coating layer, an information display printing layer, a white ink layer, an insulating deposition layer made of tin, and A packaging material in which sealant layers are sequentially laminated has been proposed (see Patent Document 2). According to this packaging material, even if the insulating deposition layer made of tin is irradiated with microwaves, no sparks are generated. can be prevented.
However, in such a packaging material, since a white ink layer having a light-shielding property is formed between the base film and the insulating vapor deposition layer made of tin, it is difficult to use the luster of the insulating vapor deposition layer as a decoration. As a result, it is difficult to decorate with a metallic luster having a high degree of gloss.
The present inventors solved the above-mentioned problems, and as a means for decorating packaging materials for microwave ovens with a metallic luster that imparts a feeling of brightness, a metal vapor deposition film made of tin or indium that is visible from the outer surface side (Japanese Patent Application No. 2021-72986).
However, when heat sterilization treatment such as boiling or retort treatment is performed after filling and sealing the contents in a pouch using such a packaging material for a microwave oven, a phenomenon occurs in which the metal vapor deposition film becomes transparent, and the desired metal is A new problem has been discovered in that it may not be possible to maintain the gloss decoration.

According to the present invention, the metal vapor deposition film is formed between the sealant film and the base film, and the gloss due to the metal vapor deposition film is visible from the outer surface through the base film, so that the glossiness is high. It can be decorated with metallic luster. Moreover, since the total light transmittance of the vapor-deposited metal film after the heat sterilization treatment is 76.0% or less, the degree of existence of the defective portion of the vapor-deposited metal film is sufficiently low. is prevented from attacking the vapor-deposited metal film and making the vapor-deposited metal film transparent. Since it is possible to exhibit the metallic luster of the period, even if heat sterilization treatment such as boiling or retort treatment is performed, decoration with the desired metallic luster can be maintained. In addition, since the metal deposition film is made of tin or indium, sparks do not occur when heated in a microwave oven, so that a packaging material suitable for microwave ovens can be obtained.

Retort treatment refers to pressurized heat treatment, for example, steam or hot water of about 110 ° C to 130 ° C while pressurizing the product filled in a heat-resistant container so that the internal pressure of the product does not damage the container due to the rise in product temperature. is heated for about several tens of minutes at 120° C. for 4 minutes or more, and the F0 value is 3.1 or more. Moreover, heat sterilization that allows chilled distribution refers to, for example, heat treatment such as boiling at 90° C. for 10 minutes or more, which is generally used.

[Production example 1 of packaging material for microwave oven]
A 12 μm thick polyethylene terephthalate film (base film) printed with a transparent yellow ink (urethane gravure ink for reverse printing) by gravure printing, and a 12 μm thick tin-deposited polyethylene terephthalate film [ A] (ester film manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.) was dry-laminated by a dry lamination method using a polyurethane adhesive so that the transparent yellow ink surface and the tin-deposited surface overlapped to prepare an intermediate laminated film. Furthermore, a laminated film was produced by dry laminating a polypropylene film having a thickness of 60 μm to be a sealant film on the surface of the tin-deposited polyethylene terephthalate film in the intermediate laminated film by a dry lamination method using a polyurethane adhesive. .
The laminated film thus obtained was stored in a constant temperature room at 35° C. for 5 days and subjected to a curing treatment to obtain a microwave oven packaging material [1].
The tin-deposited polyethylene terephthalate film [A] has a total light transmittance of 26.4% and a light transmittance (ultraviolet transmittance) of 30.6% at a wavelength of 330 nm to 340 nm in the state where heat sterilization is not performed. is.
The total light transmittance of a single intermediate resin layer obtained by removing the tin-deposited film from the tin-deposited polyethylene terephthalate film [A] was 88%.
