Abstract
Description
電池100は、上記したような電池ケース10(外装体12および封口板14)と、電極体群20(電極体20a、20b、20c)と、電解液と、正極端子30と、負極端子40と、正極集電部50(正極第1集電部51および正極第2集電部52)と、負極集電部60(負極第1集電部61および負極第2集電部62)と、正極内部絶縁部材70と負極内部絶縁部材80と、を用意し、例えば、第1取付工程と、第2取付工程と、挿入工程と、封口工程と、を含む製造方法によって製造することができる。また、ここに開示される製造方法は、任意の段階でさらに他の工程を含んでもよい。
なお、上記第2~第5実施形態における接合部の形成は、例えばホーンの形状等を調整することによって実施することができる。

Claims (7)
- 第1電極と、前記第1電極の対極である第2電極とが、セパレータを介在させつつ重なり合って構成された積層構造を有する1つまたは複数の電極体と、
前記電極体を収容する電池ケースと、
を備えた電池であって、
前記電池ケースは、
底壁と、前記底壁から延び相互に対向する一対の第1側壁と、前記底壁から延び相互に対向する一対の第2側壁と、前記底壁に対向する開口部と、を有する外装体と、
前記開口部を封口する封口板であって、前記第1電極と電気的に接続される端子が取り付けられた封口板と、
を備えており、
前記電極体は、
前記一対の第2側壁のうち一方の第2側壁と対向する端部から突出した複数のタブを含む第1電極タブ群と、
前記一対の第2側壁のうち他方の第2側壁と対向する端部から突出した複数のタブを含む第2電極タブ群と、
を備えており、
前記第1電極タブ群および前記端子は、集電部を介して電気的に接続されており、
前記第1電極タブ群は、前記第1電極タブ群の一部が前記一対の第2側壁のうち一方の第2側壁に沿って配置されるように湾曲した状態で、前記集電部と接合されており、
前記タブには、活物質層または保護層が形成された形成領域と、前記タブが露出したタブ露出領域と、の境界部分が存在しており、
前記積層構造を有する電極体を構成するセパレータのうち少なくとも一部のセパレータどうしが接合されており、接合部の少なくとも一部は、前記境界部分に近接している、電池。 - 前記接合部が形成されたセパレータは、前記第1電極タブ群の湾曲の緩い方に偏在している、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記接合部の少なくとも一部は、前記境界部分に隣接している、請求項1または2に記載の電池。
- 前記タブの根本部分から前記セパレータの前記タブの突出方向における端部に至るまでの最短距離は、前記タブの根元部分から前記境界部分に至るまでの最短距離の2倍以上である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記接合部の、前記タブの突出方向における長さAと、前記タブの突出方向に直交する方向における長さBの比(B/A)は、1.3以上である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記接合部が形成されたセパレータの枚数は、3枚以上であり、かつ、前記積層構造を有する電極体を構成するセパレータの全枚数を100%としたときの40%以下である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記接合部の少なくとも一部は、前記タブおよび前記セパレータの重なり部分にも存在しており、前記タブにおける前記重なり部分の少なくとも一部には、前記保護層が具備されている、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
