Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to casting paper for synthetic leather.
Synthetic leather is manufactured using casting paper for synthetic leather. Examples of methods for producing synthetic leather include the following methods. First, a coating liquid containing synthetic resin such as urethane resin or vinyl chloride resin as a main component is applied on the release agent layer of synthetic leather casting paper, and the applied coating liquid is dried to remove the resin layer. Form. If necessary, a base fabric is laminated on the resin layer via an adhesive to form a laminate with the synthetic leather. Finally, the synthetic leather is produced by peeling the synthetic leather casting paper from the resin layer in the laminate. The casting paper for synthetic leather has, for example, a substrate and a release agent layer.
For example, Patent Literature 1 discloses a release material used for manufacturing synthetic leather. The release material disclosed in Patent Document 1 is obtained by applying a release agent composition to the surface of a base material. The release agent composition comprises (A) an alkyd resin, (B) an amino resin, (C) a silicone resin containing a functional group reactive with the alkyd resin and/or the amino resin, (D) the component ( A), and 0.05 to 10 parts by mass of a cationic surfactant per 100 parts by mass of the total amount of component (B) and component (C). In addition, a p-toluenesulfonic acid-methanol solution is used in the release agent composition disclosed in Patent Document 1.
Patent Literature 2 discloses a cast-coated paper that serves as a substrate for process paper that is repeatedly used in the production of synthetic leather and the like. The cast-coated paper for a casting paper substrate disclosed in Patent Document 2 has an under layer and a cast layer in this order on at least one side of the base paper. The under layer contains 100 parts by weight of the inorganic pigment and 1 to 50 parts by weight of the organic pigment, and the cast layer does not contain the organic pigment. In the cast-coated paper for a casting paper substrate disclosed in Patent Document 2, a release layer (release agent layer) is provided by coating a release agent on the surface of the cast layer. In recent years, synthetic leather casting papers are required not to use, for example, organic solvents as a release agent composition for forming a release agent layer, in consideration of environmental impact. For example, the process paper used for manufacturing synthetic leather disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 uses an organic solvent in the release agent layer, and improvement is required from the viewpoint of environmental impact. rice field. For this reason, synthetic leather casting paper is required to form a release agent layer using a release agent composition that contains an aqueous resin as a binder resin as a main component and does not contain an organic solvent.
Manufacture of synthetic leather in which casting paper for synthetic leather provided with a release agent layer formed of a release agent composition containing a water-based resin as a main component of a binder resin is provided with a resin layer containing a vinyl chloride resin as a main component When the release agent layer is used for the purpose, yellowing may occur on the surface of the release agent layer where the resin layer containing the vinyl chloride resin as the main component is formed. When yellowing occurs on the surface of the release agent layer, the release agent layer looks as if it has deteriorated, even though the release agent layer has no problem in its release performance. For this reason, there has been a demand for a further improvement in the yellowing of the surface of the release agent layer of casting paper for synthetic leather.
It is an object of the present invention to provide synthetic leather casting paper for producing synthetic leather having a resin layer containing vinyl chloride resin as a main component, wherein vinyl chloride resin is added to the surface of the release agent layer. According to one aspect of the present invention, when the casting paper for synthetic leather is used for the production of synthetic leather provided with a resin layer containing a vinyl chloride resin as a main component, vinyl chloride is added to the surface of the release agent layer. When a resin layer containing a base resin as a main component is formed into a film, it suppresses the occurrence of troubles in releasability from the release agent layer, and suppresses the occurrence of yellowing on the surface of the release agent layer. It is possible to provide a casting paper for synthetic leather that is durable.
A preferred embodiment of the casting paper for synthetic leather, which is an example of the present invention, will be described below.
<First embodiment>
The casting paper for synthetic leather according to the first embodiment includes a base material, and a release agent layer provided on the base material and containing a binder resin and a release agent, wherein the binder resin is the following (A ) component and the following component (B), and the release agent contains a silicone-based release agent. The casting paper for synthetic leather according to this embodiment satisfies the following (i).
(A) component: polyvinyl alcohol (B) component: at least one selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene latex and methyl methacrylate-butadiene latex (i): solid of component (A) for component (B) The fractional ratio ((A) component/(B) component) is 20/80 or more and 80/20 or less in terms of mass.
As a casting paper for synthetic leather provided with a release agent layer using a binder resin containing a water-based resin as a main component, for example, only a resin with low acid resistance such as polyvinyl alcohol (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "PVA") is used. When used as a binder resin, the synthetic leather casting paper is a synthetic leather with a resin layer containing vinyl chloride resin as the main component (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a vinyl chloride resin layer). When applied to production, yellowing tends to occur on the surface of the release agent layer of synthetic leather casting paper. This phenomenon can be considered as follows. When the vinyl chloride resin layer is formed on the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather, the film forming temperature of the vinyl chloride resin layer is high (for example, 200 ° C. or higher), so the heat of the vinyl chloride resin Hydrochloric acid and the like are generated as decomposed substances. It is conceivable that the functional groups contained in PVA and the components contained in the vinyl chloride resin composition may chemically react with hydrochloric acid generated as a thermal decomposition product of the vinyl chloride resin. It is believed that such a chemical reaction yellows the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather.
On the other hand, the casting paper for synthetic leather according to the present embodiment uses styrene-butadiene latex (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "SBR") and methyl-butadiene methacrylate as the binder resin contained in the release agent layer. It contains at least one selected from the group consisting of latex (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "MBR") and PVA. Since SBR and MBR have higher acid resistance than PVA, it is believed that the surface of the release agent layer is prevented from yellowing after forming the vinyl chloride resin layer. Further, the casting paper for synthetic leather according to the present embodiment contains both components of at least one selected from the group consisting of SBR and MBR and PVA as the binder resin contained in the release agent layer, It is possible to suppress adverse effects on the peelability of the vinyl chloride-based resin layer after film formation.
For this reason, the casting paper for synthetic leather according to the present embodiment has the above configuration, so that when the vinyl chloride resin layer is produced, the peelability when peeling the vinyl chloride resin layer from the release agent layer It is thought that it is possible to suppress the occurrence of defects in the release agent layer and to suppress the occurrence of yellowing on the surface of the release agent layer.

(critical peeling load value)
The critical peel load value is measured by a scratch test on the surface of the release agent layer (that is, the release agent layer of the virgin synthetic leather casting paper) before the vinyl chloride resin composition is applied. The critical peel load value at which the release agent layer of the leather casting paper peels is preferably 5 mN or more, more preferably 6 mN or more, still more preferably 8 mN or more, and more preferably 10 mN or more. The upper limit of the critical peel load value is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, 30 mN or less.
A critical peel load value measured by a scratch test serves as an index for evaluating the scratch resistance of the surface of the release agent layer. If the critical peel load value is 5 mN or more, damage to the surface of the release agent layer is likely to be suppressed even if the casting paper for synthetic leather is used repeatedly. Also, even if the casting paper for synthetic leather is used repeatedly, the decrease in releasability is likely to be suppressed.
In the scratch test, a scratch tester is used to slightly vibrate the indenter needle in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the scratch direction, and the indenter needle is pressed against the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper, while scratching the surface. This test is performed by increasing the load that presses the indenter needle. The critical peeling load value is calculated as the load value applied to the indenter needle when the peeling agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather is peeled off. The scratch test can be performed by setting the measurement conditions to, for example, a scratch speed of 25 μm/s, an indenter needle stylus diameter of 5 μm, an indenter needle spring constant of 100 g/mm, and an excitation amplitude of 100 μm.
The casting paper for synthetic leather according to the present embodiment has a peeling force against the resin layer of synthetic leather (that is, a resin layer containing vinyl chloride resin as a main component) that is the same as the peeling force described in the first embodiment. Similar ranges are preferred. If it is in the same range as the peeling force described in the first embodiment, it is possible to suppress the unexpected peeling of the resin layer of the synthetic leather from the release agent layer, and even after repeated use of the synthetic leather casting paper, the synthetic leather The casting paper for synthetic leather can be stably peeled off from the leather. The peel force measuring method is the same as the peel force measuring method described in the first embodiment.
(Method of using casting paper for synthetic leather)
When the synthetic leather contains a resin containing a vinyl chloride-based resin as a main component, the synthetic leather casting paper according to the first embodiment and the second embodiment can be used, for example, as follows for the production of synthetic leather. used. First, a vinyl chloride resin composition for forming synthetic leather, which contains vinyl chloride resin as a main component, is applied to the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather. The vinyl chloride resin composition contains, for example, 100 parts by mass of vinyl chloride resin, and 40 parts by mass or more and 100 parts by mass or less of a plasticizer (e.g., phthalate plasticizer, fatty acid ester plasticizer, etc.) It preferably contains a liquefied material dispersed in a plasticizer, etc.) and, if necessary, various additives such as antioxidants, stabilizers, fillers, and pigments. Then, after applying the vinyl chloride resin composition, it is dried by heating at a predetermined temperature (for example, a temperature of 200° C. or higher) for a predetermined time (for example, 2 minutes or longer). A vinyl chloride resin layer is formed on the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper. After forming the vinyl chloride-based resin layer, a base fabric is laminated with an adhesive. After bonding, the vinyl chloride resin layer is aged. Finally, the vinyl chloride resin layer is peeled off together with the base fabric from the interface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper. Synthetic leather can be produced by this procedure.

(Yellowness (YI value))
Using a spectral color difference meter (SE6000, manufactured by Nippon Denshoku Industries Co., Ltd.), the degree of yellowing (YI value) of the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather obtained in each example and each comparative example was measured. bottom. The degree of yellowing was measured according to JIS K7373:2006, using a standard illuminant D 65 XYZ color system and a reflection method. The yellowing index was measured for the following three types.
(YI-0): Before forming a vinyl chloride resin layer on the surface of the release agent layer of synthetic leather casting paper (before use).
(YI-1): After the vinyl chloride resin layer was formed on the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather and peeled off once (used once).
(YI-3): After repeating this operation three times (three times use).
(Difference in yellowing degree (ΔYI value))
ΔYI (1) was calculated by subtracting the YI value of the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper before use from the YI value of the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper when used once. In addition, ΔYI (3) is calculated by subtracting the YI value of the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper before use from the YI value of the surface of the release agent layer of the synthetic leather casting paper when used three times. bottom.
(Peelability)
The operation of forming a vinyl chloride resin layer on the surface of the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather and peeling off was repeated three times, and sensory evaluation was performed on the peelability at the third peeling. When peeled, the case where it was possible to peel off without problems at the interface between the vinyl chloride resin layer and the casting paper for synthetic leather was rated as "A", and the casting paper for synthetic leather was damaged, such as the interface of the casting paper for synthetic leather. "F" was given when no peeling occurred.
(Scratch resistance in release agent layer (critical peel load))
The surface of the release agent layer of unused casting paper for synthetic leather was evaluated for scratch resistance. Evaluation of the scratch resistance of the release agent layer was carried out using a scratch tester (CSR-2000, manufactured by Lesca Co., Ltd.) by micro-vibrating the indenter needle in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the scratch direction, and moving the indenter needle to synthetic leather casting paper. While the surface of the release agent layer was scratched by pressing against the surface of the release agent layer, the load for pressing the indenter needle was increased. The load value applied to the indenter needle when the release agent layer of the casting paper for synthetic leather was delaminated was calculated as the critical delamination load value. The measurement conditions are as follows.
Test conditions Scratch speed: 25 μm/s
Indenter needle stylus diameter: 5 μm
Indenter needle spring constant: 100g/mm
Excitation amplitude: 100 μm
Compared to Comparative Examples 1 to 3, each of the examples showed the release performance when the resin layer containing vinyl chloride resin as the main component was released from the release agent layer even when the casting paper for synthetic leather was repeatedly used. It can be seen that there is no problem in the evaluation, and that there is little change in the degree of yellowing before and after forming a resin layer containing a vinyl chloride resin as a main component on the surface of the release agent layer. Moreover, it can be seen that each example is superior to comparative example 4 in scratch resistance.
As described above, the casting paper for synthetic leather obtained in each example has a problem with the peelability when peeling the resin layer from the release agent layer when producing a resin layer containing a vinyl chloride resin as a main component. It can be seen that it is possible to suppress yellowing of the surface of the release agent layer while suppressing the occurrence of .
