Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 臓器又は組織に灌流させる灌流溶液を酸素化する酸素供給装置であって、
酸素供給源からの酸素を受け入れるよう構成された入口と、
該入口に接続されたチューブであり、前記受け入れた酸素を前記チューブから出すことができる複数の孔を含むチューブと
を備えた酸素供給装置。 - 請求項1に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記入口が始まる頂部と、
前記頂部の下に前記チューブを固定するように前記頂部の下に延びる複数のホルダと
をさらに備えた酸素供給装置。 - 請求項2に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記複数のホルダのそれぞれは、(i)前記頂部に対して実質的に垂直に延びる垂直部及び(ii)該垂直部に対して外向角で延びる傾斜部を含み、
前記チューブは、前記複数のホルダの前記傾斜部により固定される酸素供給装置。 - 請求項3に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記複数のホルダは、前記臓器又は組織を囲むのに十分な円周を有するループ状に前記チューブを固定し、
前記ループの大部分が、前記頂部により形成された仮想平面と実質的に平行である酸素供給装置。 - 請求項1に記載の酸素供給装置において、
該酸素供給装置は、臓器灌流回路に取り付けられるよう構成され、
前記入口が始まる前記酸素供給装置の前記頂部は、灌流中に前記臓器又は組織を保持するよう構成された前記臓器灌流回路の収容槽用の蓋を構成する酸素供給装置。 - 請求項5に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記チューブは、該酸素供給装置が前記収容槽に配置されると前記チューブ及びその前記複数の孔が前記収容槽内の前記灌流溶液の浴に浸漬されるように、前記頂部の下に固定される酸素供給装置。 - 請求項6に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記チューブは、酸素供給装置が前記収容槽に配置されると前記チューブが前記収容槽内に位置付け可能な臓器クレードルに干渉しないように、複数のホルダにより所定位置に固定される酸素供給装置。 - 請求項6に記載の酸素供給装置において、前記頂部に疎水性のベントをさらに備え、該ベントは、前記酸素供給装置が前記収容槽に配置されて前記チューブの前記複数の孔から前記灌漑溶液に酸素が流れると前記収容槽内の圧力上昇を制限するよう構成される酸素供給装置。
- 請求項1に記載の酸素供給装置において、前記孔は、前記チューブの長さに沿って離間した複数の群で配置される酸素供給装置。
- 請求項9に記載の酸素供給装置において、前記群のそれぞれは、前記チューブの周囲に離間した複数の孔を含む酸素供給装置。
- 請求項10に記載の酸素供給装置において、
前記複数の群の各対は、前記チューブ上で約34.79mm離間し、
前記複数の孔の平均直径は、約0.10mm~0.18mmである酸素供給装置。 - 臓器又は組織に灌流させる灌漑溶液を酸素化する方法であって、
チューブ及びその孔が臓器灌流回路の収容槽内の前記灌流溶液の浴内に浸漬されるように、請求項1に記載の酸素供給装置を前記収容槽に配置するステップと、
前記酸素供給装置の入口を酸素供給源に接続するステップと、
前記浴を構成する前記灌流溶液の酸素濃度を高めるように前記酸素供給源から前記入口を通して、前記チューブの前記孔を通して、前記灌流液浴に酸素を投与するステップと
を含む方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法において、前記酸素源から約10リットル/分の速度で10分以上酸素を投与するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 請求項12に記載の方法において、前記配置するステップの前に、前記収容槽の蓋を取り外すステップをさらに含み、
前記配置するステップは、前記収容槽の前記蓋を前記酸素供給装置に置き換える方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法において、
前記酸素供給源からの酸素の投与を中止するステップと、
続いて前記臓器灌流回路の前記収容槽内に前記臓器又は組織を配置するステップと
をさらに含む方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法において、前記酸素は、前記臓器灌流回路での前記臓器又は組織の灌流中に投与される方法。
