Description
Claims (15)
- 非空気圧式タイヤであって、
回転軸を有するインナーリングと、
複数の周方向補強材を有するアウターリングと、
前記インナーリングから前記アウターリングまで延在する支持構造体と、
前記アウターリングの周りに延在する周方向トレッドであって、前記周方向トレッドの底部から離間したトレッド補強層を含む、周方向トレッドと、を備える、非空気圧式タイヤ。 - 前記複数の周方向補強材が、熱可塑性物質に埋め込まれた複数の周方向に延在するコードを含む、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記インナーリング及び前記支持構造体が、第1の材料で構成されている、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記アウターリングが、前記第1の材料で構成された下部層と、前記第1の材料とは異なる第2の材料で構成された上層と、を含み、前記第2の材料が、内部に埋め込まれた前記複数の周方向補強材を有する、請求項3に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記複数の周方向補強材及び前記トレッド補強層が、同じ材料で構成されている、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記周方向トレッドが、前記トレッド補強層の下方に配設された少なくとも0.5インチ(1.3cm)の厚さを有する下部エラストマー層と、前記トレッド補強層の上方に配設された上部エラストマー層と、を含む、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記トレッド補強層が、スチールベルトの単一層である、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記スチールベルトが、非周方向に延在する、請求項7に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 前記支持構造体が、ウェビングである、請求項1に記載の非空気圧式タイヤ。
- 非空気圧式タイヤを作製する方法であって、前記方法が、
インナーリング、アウターリング、及び前記インナーリングと前記アウターリングとの間に延在する複数の支持構造体を含む、タイヤ構造体を提供することと、
内部に埋め込まれた補強コードを有する熱可塑性シートを提供することと、
前記熱可塑性シートを前記タイヤ構造体の前記アウターリングに取り付けることと、
底面から離間した補強層を有する周方向トレッドを形成することと、
前記周方向トレッドを前記熱可塑性シートに取り付けることと、を含む、方法。 - 内部に埋め込まれた補強コードを有する前記熱可塑性シートを提供することが、引抜プロセス及び押出プロセスのうちの1つを介して、熱可塑性材料で複数の補強コードをコーティングすることを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性シートが、細長い熱可塑性リボンであり、前記熱可塑性シートを前記タイヤ構造体の前記アウターリングに取り付けることが、前記細長い熱可塑性リボンを前記タイヤ構造体の前記アウターリングの周りに螺旋状に巻き付けることを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性シートを前記タイヤ構造体の前記アウターリングに取り付けることが、フープを形成することと、前記熱可塑性シートの第1の端部を前記熱可塑性シートの第2の端部に接合することと、を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性シートを前記タイヤ構造体の前記アウターリングに取り付けることが、前記フープを前記アウターリングにスピン溶接することを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記周方向トレッドを前記形成すること及び前記周方向トレッドを前記熱可塑性シートに前記取り付けることが、前記熱可塑性シートの周りに第1のエラストマー層を配置することと、前記補強層を前記第1のエラストマー層の周りに配置することと、第2のエラストマー層を前記補強層の周りに配置することと、を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
