Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a printer and a method of manufacturing a printer.
Conventionally, a recording paper (recording medium), in which multiple labels are temporarily attached to a long backing paper at predetermined intervals, is stored in a rolled state, and the labels temporarily attached to the backing paper are printed. Printers are known. This printer has an optical transmissive sensor for detecting a gap between labels temporarily attached to the backing paper. A transmissive sensor has a light projecting element and a light receiving element arranged near a thermal head (hereinafter abbreviated as a head) in order to improve the positional accuracy of printing with respect to a label, for example (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
According to this printer, for example, the platen roller is rotated in a state in which one longitudinal end of the rolled recording paper is sandwiched between the head and the platen roller. The rotation of the platen roller conveys the recording paper sandwiched between the head and the platen roller.
In this state, the light-receiving element is irradiated with light from the light-projecting element of the transmissive sensor, and the irradiated light passes through the recording paper. The position of the label temporarily attached to the recording paper is detected by detecting the intensity of the transmitted light with the light-receiving element. The head prints on each label based on the detected label position information.
Here, in
Therefore, when assembling the transmission type sensor, it is necessary to pass the transmission type sensor through the gap between the support shaft and the mechanical frame. It is conceivable that
In order to assemble the transmissive sensor so that the surface of the transmissive sensor does not come into contact with the mechanical frame, it is necessary to disassemble the support shaft from the mechanical frame.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a printer and a method of manufacturing a printer that can improve the ease of assembly.
A printer according to an aspect of the present invention includes a mechanical frame that houses a recording medium having a plurality of labels temporarily attached to a long mount, a support that is supported by the mechanical frame via a support shaft, and the support. A head attached to the body for printing on the label, and a transmissive sensor disposed between the head and the support shaft for detecting the label, wherein the mechanical frame includes the head and the label. A frame portion provided with a space between the support shaft and the support shaft; and a concave portion provided in the frame portion and widening the space so that the transmissive sensor can pass therethrough. and
According to this configuration, by arranging the transmissive sensor between the head and the support shaft, the transmissive sensor can be arranged in the vicinity of the head. As a result, printing can be accurately performed at the printing position of the label detected by the transmissive sensor.
Further, by providing the recess in the frame portion, the gap between the support shaft and the frame portion can be widened so that the transmissive sensor can pass therethrough. Therefore, the transmissive sensor can be arranged between the head and the support shaft by passing through the gap between the support shaft and the frame portion. As a result, the transmissive sensor can be assembled between the head and the support shaft without disassembling the support shaft from the mechanical frame, and the ease of assembly can be improved.
The above printer includes a sensor holder that has an elastically deformable snap fit that engages with the mechanical frame, and that fixes the transmissive sensor to the mechanical frame by engaging the snap fit with the mechanical frame. may
According to this configuration, the snap fit of the sensor holder can be elastically deformed so that it can be easily locked to the mechanical frame. As a result, the transmissive sensor can be easily fixed to the mechanical frame by the sensor holder, and the assembling efficiency can be further improved.
In the printer described above, the concave portion may be formed to have a curved surface that is larger than the tip curved surface of the transmissive sensor.
According to this configuration, the concave portion is formed on a curved surface (curved surface) larger than the tip curved surface of the transmissive sensor. As a result, the distance between the support shaft and the frame portion can be widened so that the transmissive sensor can pass through.
Also, the concave portion was formed on the curved surface. Therefore, compared with the case where the concave portion is formed in a rectangular shape, for example, it is possible to suppress stress concentration and the like occurring in the concave portion. As a result, the strength of the mechanical frame can be ensured, and the drop impact resistance of the printer can be ensured.
In the above printer, the transmissive sensor includes a light projecting element supported by the mechanical frame and a light receiving element supported by the cover so as to face the light projecting element. may be disposed between the head and the support shaft by passing through the space widened by a .

According to this configuration, the light projecting element is arranged between the head and the support shaft, and the light receiving element is arranged so as to face the light projecting element. Therefore, the light projecting element and the light receiving element (that is, transmissive sensor) can be arranged in the vicinity of the head. As a result, printing can be accurately performed at the printing position of the label detected by the transmissive sensor.
Further, by providing the recess in the frame portion, the space between the support shaft and the frame portion can be widened so that the light projecting element can pass therethrough. Therefore, the light projecting element can be arranged between the head and the support shaft through the gap between the support shaft and the frame portion. As a result, the light projecting element can be assembled between the head and the support shaft without disassembling the support shaft from the mechanical frame, thereby improving the assemblability of the transmissive sensor.
A method of manufacturing a printer according to an aspect of the present invention includes a mechanical frame that accommodates a recording medium having a plurality of labels temporarily attached to a long mount, and a support that is supported by the mechanical frame via a support shaft. a head attached to the support for printing on the label; a transmissive sensor disposed between the head and the support shaft for detecting the label; and the transmissive sensor mounted on the mechanical frame. a sensor holder that can be locked to the mechanical frame by elastically deforming a snap fit for fixing, and the mechanical frame is spaced from the support shaft between the head and the support shaft. A method of manufacturing a printer, comprising: a frame portion provided with a gap; and a recess provided in the frame portion that widens the space so that the transmissive sensor can pass therethrough, wherein the space widened by the recess is filled with a sensor insertion step of inserting the transmission type sensor between the head and the support shaft by passing the transmission type sensor; and the transmission type sensor inserted between the head and the support shaft. a sensor temporary fixing step of temporarily fixing to the mechanical frame; a sensor holder inserting step of inserting the sensor holder into the space; and a sensor fixing step of fixing the fixed transmissive sensor to the mechanical frame by the sensor holder.
According to this method, in the sensor inserting step, the transmissive sensor is inserted between the head and the support shaft by passing the transmissive sensor through the space widened by the recess. Next, in the sensor temporary fixing step, the transmissive sensor inserted between the head and the support shaft is temporarily fixed to the mechanical frame. Next, in the sensor holder inserting step, the sensor holder is inserted into the gap. Subsequently, in the sensor fixing step, the snap fit of the sensor holder is elastically deformed to be locked to the mechanical frame, and the temporarily fixed transmissive sensor is fixed to the mechanical frame by the sensor holder.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a

<
As shown in FIGS. 3, 5, and 6, the
The
The
The
Here, the first gap L1 between the
Therefore, in the embodiment, a concave portion (notch) 28 is formed in a portion (surface) of the
As shown in FIGS. 5, 7, and 8, the
Thereby, the
Here, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the

The
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 9, the
Further, by forming the

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 10, the
The
The snap fit 92 has the locking
A

<Operation of
As explained above, according to the

<Manufacturing Method of
Next, a method for manufacturing the
As shown in FIG. 11, in the sensor insertion step, the
As shown in FIG. 12, in the sensor temporary fixing step, the
Further, in a state where the
As shown in FIG. 13 , in the sensor holder inserting step, after the
At the same time, the
As shown in FIG. 14, the
When the
As described above, according to the method of manufacturing the
As a result, the light projecting element 71 (that is, the transmissive sensor 65) can be assembled at the assembly position between the
