The low water amount supply may be started at the timing when the water level is detected by the water level sensor provided above the third water level sensor S3 (for example, the water level sensor provided on the shoulder portion 224).

Therefore, in order to obtain high-purity hydrogen gas, it is preferable to set the pressure on the cathode side higher than that on the anode side.
In that case, it is preferable to measure the amount of hydrogen gas contained in the oxygen gas to monitor whether or not an abnormality such as a pinhole has occurred in the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, and the gas is discharged from the anode-side gas-

The hydrogen / oxygen generator according to the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. Further, the hydrogen / oxygen generator according to the present invention is not limited by the above-mentioned action and effect.
Further, the hydrogen / oxygen generator according to the present invention can be variously modified without departing from the gist of the present invention.

The hydrogen / oxygen generator of the present embodiment may carry out electrolysis of water using electric power obtained from renewable energy such as solar power, wind power, tidal power, and geothermal power.
In the hydrogen / oxygen generator of the present embodiment, part or all of the energy source for electrolysis of water may be general external system power.
Renewable energy is difficult to obtain in a stable manner, and there are more opportunities to shut down the water electrolysis module than when using external system power.
Therefore, after the electrolysis of water is stopped, the supply of nitrogen gas to the anode-side gas-
For example, if you have to stop the electrolysis due to a sudden lack of sunshine while you are electrolyzing water with the electric energy obtained from solar power generation during the daytime, it is relatively short. In time, the solar radiation may recover and electrolysis may be resumed.
In the present embodiment, even in such a case, oxygen gas is not discharged from the anode-side gas-
Therefore, instead of supplying nitrogen gas to the anode-side gas-
The same applies to the case of electrolysis with other renewable energies in this regard.

Next, the present invention will be described in more detail by exemplifying one comparative calculation, but the present invention is not limited thereto (see FIG. 5).
(Standard example)
As a conventional gas-liquid separation tank on the anode side, a tank having an inner diameter of 200 mm and a height of 650 mm (internal volume of about 20 liters) (FIG. 5 (X)) is used, and the water level rises to 1/4 (162.5 mm) from the upper end. When the water surface reaches the position of 650/4)), water is discharged as a full water warning line (LH), and when the water decreases by 5 liters from the full water warning line (LH), water is used as a water shortage warning line (LL). The full water warning line (LH) contains 5 liters of oxygen gas, and the water shortage warning line (LL) contains 10 liters of oxygen gas in the gas-liquid separation tank on the anode side. Therefore, a simple average of 7.5 liters of oxygen gas is accommodated on average.
(Example)
Next, the same applies to the anode-side gas-liquid separation tank in which the diameter is different between the lower part and the upper part as shown in FIG. 5 (Y) and the upper part (neck part) has a smaller diameter than the lower part (body part). It is assumed that the control of is performed.
Here, the lower part has the same inner diameter as the reference example, and the height is 500 mm (internal volume of about 16 liters).
Then, it is assumed that the upper part is the inner diameter (100 mm) of the lower half, the height is 450 mm (capacity is about 4 liters), and the upper and lower parts are combined to secure the same volume of 20 liters as the standard example.
Here, assuming that the case where the water level reaches half the height (450/2: mm) of the upper part is the full water warning line (LH), there is a space of 225 mm above even in this state, and the full water warning in the standard example. It is possible to have a state with a margin larger than the space height (162.5 mm) in the line (LH).
The oxygen capacity at this time is 2 liters, which is half of the upper volume (4 liters).
Assuming that the water shortage warning line (LL) is the case where the water is reduced by 5 liters from this point, the oxygen gas capacity is 7 liters in the water shortage warning line (LL).
That is, the average oxygen gas capacity in the embodiment is about 4.5 liters, and the oxygen gas capacity can be reduced by 3 liters as compared with the standard example.
From the above, it can be seen that the present invention saves space in the hydrogen / oxygen generator.
