Abstract
Description
第1の実施形態について、図1ないし図5を参照しながら説明する。図1は、本実施形態の液体吐出ヘッド16を示す斜視図である。図1に示すように、液体吐出ヘッド16は、液体を吐出する吐出口5(図2)を有する記録素子基板15と、フレキシブル配線基板17と、吐出口5に供給するインクを収容している筐体18と、から主に構成されている。フレキシブル配線基板17は、記録素子基板15に電力を供給するための配線を有している。筐体18は、記録素子基板15を支持する部材でもあるので、以下の記載で支持部材と表記する場合もある。
第2の実施形態について、図7を参照しながら説明する。なお、第1の実施形態と同様の箇所については同一の符号を付し、説明は省略する。図7は、本実施形態における記録素子基板15を示す。図7(a)は、基板1の裏面側から見た平面図である。図7(b)は、図7(a)に示すA-A´断面における断面図である。図7(c)は、図7(a)に示すB-B´断面における断面図である。

Claims (8)
- 液体を吐出する吐出口を形成する吐出口形成部材と、
前記吐出口形成部材の前記吐出口に液体を供給するための複数の液体供給口と、前記複数の液体供給口間に形成されている隔壁と、を有する基板と、
前記基板を支持する支持部材と、
を備える液体吐出ヘッドにおいて、
前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記液体供給口は、前記基板の長手方向に沿って延在しており、
前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記複数の液体供給口は、前記基板の短手方向に沿って配列しており、
前記隔壁は、前記支持部材と当接しない非当接部分と、前記支持部材と当接する当接部分と、を有し、
前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記複数の液体供給口のうち互いに隣接して形成されている液体供給口間が、前記非当接部分と前記支持部材との隙間により前記短手方向に連通しており、該隙間を液体が流動することを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記非当接部分は、前記短手方向に並んで複数形成されている請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記非当接部分と前記当接部分とは、前記短手方向に並んで形成されている請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記基板の主面と対向する位置からみたときに、前記当接部分が千鳥に形成されている請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記当接部分は、前記隔壁の中央部分に形成されている請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記当接部分は、前記隔壁の端部に形成されている請求項5に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記基板は、シリコン基板である請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記当接部分は、接着剤により前記支持部材と接合している請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
