Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a laminate including a gas barrier layer and an elastomer layer.
Films using a resin having a gas barrier property such as an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer are widely used in various applications such as food and medical packaging materials. Recently, for the purpose of improving various performances such as gas barrier properties, various laminates in which a plurality of resin layers having a thickness of one layer on the order of microns or submicrons are laminated have been proposed.
The laminate having the gas barrier layer and the elastomer layer makes use of excellent gas barrier properties, stretchability, etc., and is a film-like rubber such as an inner liner for pneumatic tires, an inner bag of an accumulator, a pneumatic ball, and an air spring. Some are used by laminating materials (rubber layers). In
As shown in FIG. 4, in the laminated
The present invention has been made based on the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to have sufficient gas barrier properties and bending resistance, and to have overlapping ends when a rubber layer is laminated and formed into an annular shape.
<Laminated body>
The laminate of the present invention includes a plurality of gas barrier layers (A) and a plurality of elastomer layers (B). Each gas barrier layer (A) contains a gas barrier resin (a). Each elastomer layer (B) contains a styrene-based elastomer (b) having a polar group capable of reacting with the gas barrier resin (a). The total number of layers of the plurality of gas barrier layers (A) and the plurality of elastomer layers (B) is 9 or more. The plurality of gas barrier layers (A) and the plurality of elastomer layers (B) are laminated one by one alternately adjacent to each other. The polar group is at least one selected from the group consisting of a carboxy group and a derivative thereof. The plurality of elastomer layers (B) include a plurality of elastomer layers (B1) having a gas barrier layer (A) adjacent to each other on both sides thereof. The content of the polar group in the plurality of elastomer layers (B1) is 0.01 mmol / g or more and 0.1 mmol / g or less. The iodine value I B1 of the plurality of elastomer layers (B1) is 50 g / 100 g or more and 300 g / 100 g or less.
The laminated body of the present invention has sufficient gas barrier properties and bending resistance, and is also excellent in adhesiveness at the overlapping ends when the rubber layers are laminated and then made into an annular shape. In the present specification, the adhesiveness of the overlapping ends when the rubber layer is laminated on the laminated body and then formed into an annular shape may be referred to as "end adhesiveness". The reason why the laminate of the present invention exerts the above effect is not clear, but the following reasons are presumed. In the laminated body of the present invention, a plurality of gas barrier layers (A) and a plurality of elastomer layers (B) are alternately adjacent to each other in a total of 9 or more layers, and the gas barrier layers (A) are adjacent to both sides. A sufficient amount of polar groups capable of reacting with the gas barrier resin (a) is present in the elastomer layer (B1). Therefore, the laminated body has sufficient gas barrier properties and bending resistance. Further, regarding the adhesiveness to the end portion, in the conventional laminated body provided with the gas barrier layer and the elastomer layer, the adhesiveness to the rubber on the end face is not considered. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, in the conventional laminated
C/B2/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B1/A/B2/Cの層構造を有する。

For example, when a styrene-based elastomer having an epoxy group or the like is used, the reactivity (crosslinking reactivity) with the gas barrier resin (a) is insufficient, and bending resistance, edge adhesiveness, and interlayer adhesion are sufficient. The sex etc. becomes insufficient.
The styrene-based elastomer usually has an aromatic vinyl-based polymer block (hard segment) and a rubber block (soft segment). The aromatic vinyl-based polymer block forms a physical crosslink to serve as a cross-linking point, while the rubber block imparts rubber elasticity.
Examples of the styrene-based elastomer (b) include the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS) having the polar group, the styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS) having the polar group, and the polar group. Styrene-isobutylene-styrene block copolymer (SIBS), styrene-ethylene / butylene-styrene block copolymer (SEBS) having the polar group, styrene-ethylene / propylene-styrene block copolymer having the polar group (SEPS) and the like can be mentioned.
Among these styrene-based elastomers (b), SBS having the polar group and SEBS having the polar group are preferable, and SEBS having the polar group is more preferable. SEBS can introduce a relatively large amount of the polar group. Therefore, by using SEBS having the polar group, the adhesiveness of the B layer to the A layer can be sufficiently enhanced.
The lower limit of the content ratio of the styrene unit in the styrene-based elastomer (b) is preferably 5% by mass, preferably 10% by mass. On the other hand, as the upper limit, 50% by mass is preferable, and 40% by mass is more preferable. By using the styrene-based elastomer (b) having a styrene unit content in the above range, the melt moldability and the like are improved, and the appearance and the like of the laminate of the present invention are improved.
The styrene-based elastomer (b) (carboxylic acid-modified styrene-based elastomer) is a method of (1) chemically binding an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof to the styrene-based elastomer by an addition reaction or a graft reaction, (2) vinyl. It can be obtained by a method of copolymerizing an aromatic compound, a conjugated diene compound / or a hydrogenated product thereof, an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride thereof, or the like. Examples of the unsaturated carboxylic acid and its anhydride include maleic acid and maleic anhydride, and maleic anhydride is preferable.
The lower limit of the content of the polar group in the styrene-based elastomer (b) is preferably 0.01 mmol / g, more preferably 0.1 mmol / g. On the other hand, as the upper limit, 0.5 mmol / g is preferable, and 0.4 mmol / g is more preferable. By setting the content of the polar group in the styrene-based elastomer (b) within the above range, the interlayer adhesiveness of the laminate of the present invention can be further enhanced. The content of the polar group (carboxy group and its derivative) is the content in terms of carboxy group. For example, one carboxylic acid anhydride group formed by binding two carboxy groups bonded to the main chain is assumed to contain two carboxy groups. Further, the content of the polar group in the B layer has a great influence on the interlayer adhesiveness, the edge adhesiveness and the like. The content of the polar group in the B layer can be adjusted by adjusting the mixing ratio with other components other than the styrene-based elastomer (b) (for example, the styrene-based elastomer (b') described later).
The content of the polar group can be measured according to JIS K 0070 (1992). Specifically, the sample is dissolved in a xylene solvent, 0.1N potassium hydroxide alcohol (5 g of ion-exchanged water is added to 7 g of potassium hydroxide, and primary ethyl alcohol is added to make 1 L, and 0.1N potassium hydroxide and It can be calculated by titrating with a 1% phenolphthaline solution with a titration (F)), obtaining the acid value from the neutralized amount according to the following formula, and dividing the acid value by the molecular weight of potassium hydroxide. ..
Acid value (mgKOH / g) = (KOH titration (ml) x F x 56.1) / sample (mg)
The lower limit of the iodine value in the styrene-based elastomer (b) may be, for example, 1 g / 100 g or 3 g / 100 g. On the other hand, this upper limit may be, for example, 300 g / 100 g, 100 g / 100 g, or 30 g / 100 g. The iodine value in the B layer greatly affects the end adhesiveness. However, since the iodine value in the B layer can be adjusted by adjusting the mixing ratio with other components other than the styrene elastomer (b) (for example, the styrene elastomer (b') described later), the iodine value of the styrene elastomer (b) can be adjusted. The value may be low.

The iodine value indicates the mass (g) of iodine added to 100 g of the target elastomer or the like, and is an index indicating the amount of double bonds in the elastomer or the like. The iodine value means the value measured by the following iodine reduction titration. First, an appropriate amount (about 0.1 g to 1 g) of the target sample is accurately weighed in a flask, 100 mL of chloroform is added to completely dissolve the sample, and then a whistle solution (0.1 N iodine monochloride-acetic acid solution) is used. ) Add 20 mL, shake gently, block light and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. After adding 20 mL of 0.1 g / mL potassium iodide aqueous solution and 100 mL of water to this solution, the amount of free iodine was back-titrated with 0.1 N sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution, and the iodine value (I: g) was calculated by the following formula. / 100g) is calculated. At this time, the end point of the back titration with the 1N sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution is to visually observe the aqueous phase and the chloroform phase and determine that both are colorless. The same operation is performed without adding a sample, and the titration amount (mL) of the 0.1 N sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution at that time is used as the blank value.

I: Iodine value (g / 100g)
S: Mass of the weighed sample (g)

As a method for controlling the iodine value within a desired range, a method usually performed by those skilled in the art can be adopted. For example, the reaction conditions such as the reaction temperature and the reaction time when polymerizing the styrene-based elastomer can be appropriately adjusted, or the hydrogenation reaction to the styrene-based elastomer can be carried out.
The lower limit of the content of the styrene-based elastomer (b) in the B layer may be, for example, 1% by mass, preferably 10% by mass, and more preferably 15% by mass. On the other hand, the upper limit may be, for example, 100% by mass, preferably 90% by mass, more preferably 70% by mass, further preferably 50% by mass, and particularly preferably 40% by mass.
(Styrene-based elastomer (b'))
The B layer preferably further contains a styrene-based elastomer (b') having no polar group capable of reacting with the gas barrier resin (a). Thereby, the content of the polar group and the iodine value in the B layer can be adjusted to a suitable state relatively easily. Further, when the B layer further contains a styrene-based elastomer (b'), the flexibility of the B layer is increased, and the bending resistance of the laminate of the present invention tends to be enhanced.
Examples of the styrene-based elastomer (b') include styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS), styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS), styrene-isobutylene-styrene block copolymer (SIBS), and the like. Examples thereof include a styrene-ethylene / butylene-styrene block copolymer (SEBS), a styrene-ethylene / propylene-styrene block copolymer (SEPS), and the like.
Among these styrene-based elastomers (b'), SBS and SIS are preferable, and SBS is more preferable. For example, as described above, when SEBS having the polar group is used as the styrene-based elastomer (b), the SEBS generally has a low iodine value. On the other hand, SBS has a relatively high iodine value. Therefore, by combining SEBS having the polar group as the styrene-based elastomer (b) and SBS as the styrene-based elastomer (b'), the content of the polar group in the B layer and the iodine value are well-balanced. It will be easy to increase.
As the lower limit of the content ratio of the styrene unit in the styrene-based elastomer (b'), 5% by mass is preferable, and 10% by mass is more preferable. On the other hand, as the upper limit, 50% by mass is preferable, and 30% by mass is more preferable. By using a styrene-based elastomer (b') having a styrene unit content in the above range, the melt moldability and the like are improved, and the appearance and the like of the laminate of the present invention are improved.
The iodine value of the styrene-based elastomer (b') is preferably higher than that of the styrene-based elastomer (b). As a result, the iodine value of the B layer can be increased, and the adhesiveness at the ends of the laminate of the present invention can be further enhanced. The lower limit of the iodine value of the styrene-based elastomer (b') is, for example, preferably 100 g / 100 g, more preferably 200 g / 100 g, and even more preferably 240 g / 100 g. On the other hand, this upper limit may be 500 g / 100 g or 400 g / 100 g.
The lower limit of the content of the styrene-based elastomer (b') in the B layer may be, for example, 0% by mass, preferably 10% by mass, more preferably 20% by mass, still more preferably 40% by mass, and 60% by mass. % Is particularly preferable. On the other hand, the upper limit may be 99% by mass, preferably 90% by mass, and more preferably 85% by mass.
The lower limit of the total content of the styrene-based elastomer (b) and the styrene-based elastomer (b') in the B layer (material for forming the B layer) is preferably 80% by mass, more preferably 90% by mass, and further preferably 95% by mass. Preferably, 99% by mass or 99.9% by mass may be even more preferable. On the other hand, the upper limit of the total content may be 100% by mass, 99.9% by mass or 99% by mass.
The mass ratio (b / b') of the styrene-based elastomer (b) and the styrene-based elastomer (b') in the B layer (material for forming the B layer) is preferably 1/99 or more, more preferably 10/90 or more, and 20. / 80 or more is more preferable. On the other hand, the mass ratio (b / b') is preferably 90/10 or less, more preferably 80/20 or less, further preferably 50/50 or less, and particularly preferably 40/60 or less.
The B layer (material for forming the B layer) may contain components other than the styrene-based elastomer (b) and the styrene-based elastomer (b'), depending on the embodiment. Examples of other components include other elastomers, polymers other than elastomers, heat stabilizers, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, colorants, fillers, vulcanization accelerators, vulcanization accelerator aids and the like.
The lower limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (-30 ° C) of the B layer (material for forming the B layer) at −30 ° C. is preferably 10 6 Pa, more preferably 2.0 × 10 6 Pa, and 5.0 × 10 6 Pa is more preferable, and 1.0 × 10 7 Pa is particularly preferable. The upper limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (-30 ° C.) is preferably 108 Pa, more preferably 5.0 × 10 7 Pa, and even more preferably 2.5 × 10 7 Pa . By setting the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (-30 ° C) within the above range, in particular, by setting it below the above upper limit, the bending resistance at low temperatures is enhanced, and the generation of pinholes due to bending is suppressed. And so on.
The lower limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (40 ° C.) of the B layer (material for forming the B layer) at 40 ° C. is preferably 10 6 Pa, more preferably 2.0 × 10 6 Pa, and 3.0 × 10 6 Pa is more preferable. The upper limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (40 ° C.) is preferably 10 8 Pa, more preferably 2.0 × 10 7 Pa, and even more preferably 7.0 × 10 6 Pa. By setting the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B (40 ° C.) within the above range, the melt moldability is enhanced and the appearance and the like are improved.
The tensile storage elastic modulus E'is a value measured in accordance with JIS K 7244-4 (1999) (Plastic-Dynamic Mechanical Properties Test Method Part 4: Tension Vibration-Resonance Method).

By setting the content of the polar group in the B1 layer to the lower limit or higher, the adhesiveness with the A layer can be enhanced, and sufficient gas barrier property, bending resistance, edge adhesiveness, etc. can be exhibited, and the appearance is also good. improves. On the other hand, by setting the content to the upper limit or less, it is possible to suppress appearance defects caused by the reaction with the gas barrier resin (a) in the layer A being too strong.
The lower limit of the iodine value IB1 in the plurality of B1 layers is 50 g / 100 g, preferably 100 g / 100 g, more preferably 140 g / 100 g, still more preferably 180 g / 100 g. On the other hand, the upper limit of the iodine value IB1 is 300 g / 100 g, preferably 270 g / 100 g, and more preferably 240 g / 100 g. By setting the iodine value I B1 to the above lower limit or higher, the adhesiveness with the rubber layer in contact with the end face is enhanced, and excellent end adhesiveness can be exhibited. The presence of such a B2 layer can sufficiently protect the A layer, and the gas barrier property, bending resistance, and the like are enhanced. Therefore, the number of layers of the B2 layer is preferably two.
The lower limit of the content of the polar group in the B2 layer is preferably 0.01 mmol / g, more preferably 0.010 mmol / g, further preferably 0.02 mmol / g, still more preferably 0.03 mmol / g, and 0. .04 mmol / g is particularly preferred. On the other hand, the upper limit is preferably 0.1 mmol / g, more preferably 0.10 mmol, still more preferably 0.09 mmol / g, still more preferably 0.08 mmol / g, and particularly preferably 0.07 mmol / g. By setting the content of the polar group in the B2 layer to the lower limit or higher, the adhesiveness with the A layer can be enhanced, and sufficient gas barrier property, bending resistance, edge adhesiveness, etc. can be exhibited, and the appearance is also good. improves. On the other hand, by setting the content to the upper limit or less, it is possible to suppress appearance defects caused by the reaction with the gas barrier resin (a) in the layer A being too strong.
The lower limit of the iodine value I B2 in the B2 layer is preferably 50 g / 100 g, more preferably 100 g / 100 g, further preferably 140 g / 100 g, and even more preferably 180 g / 100 g. On the other hand, the upper limit of the iodine value IB1 is preferably 300 g / 100 g, more preferably 270 g / 100 g, and even more preferably 240 g / 100 g. By setting the iodine value I B2 to the above lower limit or higher, the adhesiveness with the rubber layer in contact with the end face is enhanced, and excellent end adhesiveness can be exhibited. In particular, when the B2 layer is provided relatively thick, the influence of the B2 layer on the end adhesiveness becomes large, and by setting the iodine value I B2 to the above lower limit or more, the end adhesiveness is sufficiently enhanced. On the other hand, by setting the iodine value I B2 to the upper limit or less, a sufficient amount of the polar group can be contained in the B2 layer, and the interlayer adhesiveness, bending resistance and the like can be improved.
The content of the polar group and the iodine value I B2 in the B2 layer can be adjusted by the type and amount of the styrene-based elastomer (b) and the styrene-based elastomer (b') to be used.
The compositions of the B1 layer and the B2 layer may be the same or different. From the viewpoint of productivity, it is preferable that the composition of the B1 layer and the B2 layer are the same.
<C layer>
The C layer (coating layer) is a layer adjacent to the B2 layer. The B2 layer and the C layer may be directly laminated without interposing another layer. The C layer is usually the outermost layer of the laminated body of the present invention. The C layer usually contains an adhesive resin (c) capable of adhering to the rubber layer by a cross-linking reaction. That is, the C layer is usually an adhesive resin layer formed from a C layer forming material containing the adhesive resin (c). As the adhesive resin (c) capable of adhering to the rubber layer by a cross-linking reaction, a resin having a double bond in the main chain is preferable. Further, the adhesive resin (c) is preferably an elastomer from the viewpoint of bending resistance and the like of the laminated body. Therefore, as the adhesive resin (c), at least one selected from the group consisting of styrene-based elastomers, olefin-based elastomers and diene-based elastomers is preferable, and styrene-based elastomers are more preferable.
Examples of the styrene-based elastomer as the adhesive resin (c) include the same styrene-based elastomers (b') that may be contained in the above-mentioned B layer. Among these, as the adhesive resin (c), SBS and SIS are preferable, and SBS is more preferable. The adhesive resin (c) is also preferably a non-denatured styrene-based elastomer.
As the lower limit of the content ratio of the styrene unit in the styrene-based elastomer which is the adhesive resin (c), 5% by mass is preferable, 10% by mass is more preferable, and 20% by mass, 30% by mass or 37% by mass is further preferable. On the other hand, as the upper limit of the content ratio of the styrene unit, 60% by mass is preferable, and 50% by mass is more preferable. By using a styrene-based elastomer having a styrene unit content in the above range as the adhesive resin (c), particularly by using a styrene-based elastomer having a relatively high styrene unit content, melt moldability and the like are improved. The appearance and the like of the laminate of the present invention are improved.
As the lower limit of the iodine value of the adhesive resin (c), for example, 100 g / 100 g is preferable, 200 g / 100 g is more preferable, and 240 g / 100 g is further preferable. On the other hand, as the upper limit, for example, 400 g / 100 g is preferable, and 300 g / 100 g is more preferable.
The lower limit of the content of the adhesive resin (c) in the C layer (C layer forming material) is preferably 80% by mass, more preferably 90% by mass, further preferably 95% by mass, 99% by mass or 99.9. In some cases,% by weight is even more preferred. On the other hand, the upper limit of this content may be 100% by mass, 99.9% by mass or 99% by mass.
The C layer (C layer forming material) may contain components other than the adhesive resin (c), depending on the embodiment. Examples of other components include other polymers, heat stabilizers, ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, colorants, fillers, vulcanization accelerators, vulcanization accelerator aids and the like.
The iodine value IC in the C layer is preferably larger than the iodine value IB in the plurality of B layers. Further, the iodine value IC in the C layer is preferably larger than the iodine value I B2 in the B2 layer. By providing such a C layer, the adhesiveness with the rubber layer is improved. The lower limit of the iodine value IC of the C layer may be, for example, 100 g / 100 g, but 200 g / 100 g is preferable, and 240 g / 100 g is more preferable. On the other hand, the upper limit of the iodine value IC may be, for example, 400 g / 100 g, but 300 g / 100 g is preferable. By setting the iodine value IC to the above lower limit or higher, the adhesiveness with the rubber layer is further enhanced. On the other hand, when the iodine value IC is set to the above upper limit or less, the appearance is improved.
It is preferable that the C layer (C layer forming material) does not substantially contain a component having at least one polar group selected from the group consisting of a carboxy group and a derivative thereof. When the content of the component having at least one polar group selected from the group consisting of the carboxy group and its derivative is large in the C layer (coating layer), the adhesiveness is enhanced and sticking to the cast roll occurs at the time of film formation. It becomes easy, the film surface becomes rough, and the appearance of the laminated body may be deteriorated. Therefore, the appearance can be improved by making the C layer substantially free of a component having at least one polar group selected from the group consisting of a carboxy group and a derivative thereof. Specifically, as the upper limit of the content of the polar group in the C layer, 0.01 mmol / g is preferable, 0.005 mmol / g is more preferable, 0.001 mmol / g is further preferable, and 0.0005 mmol / g is particularly preferable. preferable.
The tensile storage elastic modulus E'C of the C layer (C layer forming material) at 40 ° C. is preferably larger than the tensile storage elastic modulus E'B of the B layer (B layer forming material) at 40 ° C. As described above, by forming the C layer from a material having a relatively large tensile storage elastic modulus E'C at 40 ° C. , the melt formability is improved and the appearance of the obtained laminate is further improved. Specifically, the lower limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'C at 40 ° C. may be 106 Pa, but 1.0 × 10 7 Pa is preferable, 1.0 × 10 8 Pa is more preferable, and 5.0. × 10 8 Pa is more preferable. The upper limit of the tensile storage elastic modulus E'C at 40 ° C. is preferably 10 10 Pa, more preferably 5.0 × 10 9 Pa, and even more preferably 1.5 × 10 9 Pa.
<Use, etc.>
The laminated body of the present invention has sufficient gas barrier properties and bending resistance, and is also excellent in adhesiveness at the overlapping ends when the rubber layers are laminated and then made into an annular shape. Therefore, the laminated body can be suitably used for applications in which rubber layers are laminated to form an annular shape (circumferential shape), and the ends thereof are overlapped and adhered to each other. For such applications, it is suitably used as a gas barrier film laminated on a film-like rubber product such as an inner bag of an accumulator, an air-filled ball, an air spring, and an inner liner of an air tire.
<Manufacturing method of laminated body>
The method for producing a laminated body of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is a method in which the A layer, the B layer and the layer, and further the B layer and the C layer are satisfactorily laminated and adhered. Known methods such as bonding, coating, bonding, and adhesion can be adopted.
The laminate of the present invention can be preferably produced by a production method including a step of coextruding the A layer forming material and the B layer forming material. When the laminate further has a C layer, it can be manufactured by a manufacturing method including a step of coextruding the A layer forming material, the B layer forming material, and the C layer forming material. According to such a manufacturing method, each layer can be molded at the same time, and the productivity and the like are excellent.
In the multi-layer coextrusion method, the material forming each layer is heated and melted and supplied to the extrusion die from different extruders and pumps through their respective channels. Next, the material forming each layer is extruded from the extrusion die into multiple layers and then laminated and bonded to form a laminated body. As the extrusion die, for example, a multi-manifold die, a field block, a static mixer or the like can be used.
Regarding the relationship between the viscosities of the A layer forming material and the B layer forming material, the following melt viscosity ratio is preferable. That is, the lower limit of the ratio (ηB / ηA) between the melt viscosity (ηA) of the A layer forming material and the melt viscosity (ηB) of the B layer forming material at a temperature of 210 ° C. and a shear rate of 1,000 / sec is 0. .3 is preferable, and 0.5 is more preferable. On the other hand, the upper limit of the melt viscosity ratio (ηB / ηA) is preferably 2 and more preferably 1.5. By setting the melt viscosity ratio (ηB / ηA) in the above range, the appearance is improved and the adhesion to the A layer and the B layer is improved in the molding of the laminated body of the present invention by the multi-layer coextrusion method. It is possible to improve the bending resistance and the like of the laminated body.
The method for producing a laminated body of the present invention preferably includes a step of irradiating a structure (laminated body) obtained by coextrusion with an electron beam. By electron beam irradiation, a cross-linking reaction occurs between the layers, and the interlayer adhesive strength of the obtained laminate can be enhanced. As the electron beam source, for example, various electron beam accelerators such as a cockloft Walton type, a van de Graaff type, a resonance transformer type, an insulated core transformer type, a dynamitron type, and a high frequency type can be used.
<Multi-layer structure>
The multilayer structure according to an embodiment of the present invention is a diene system laminated on the outer surface of the above-mentioned laminated body of the present invention and a layer (preferably C layer) laminated as the outermost layer of the laminated body. A rubber layer (D) (hereinafter, also referred to as “D layer”) is provided.
As the multilayer structure having a preferable structure, the
In the multilayer structure, the diene rubber layer (D) may be laminated on both outer surfaces of the laminated body. The multilayer structure may have a resin layer other than the A layer, the B layer, the C layer and the D layer.
The laminated body in the multilayer structure and each layer constituting the laminated body, that is, the A layer, the B layer (B1 layer and the B2 layer), and the C layer are the same as those described above.
The lower limit of the average thickness of the multilayer structure is preferably 50 μm, more preferably 100 μm, and even more preferably 300 μm. On the other hand, as the upper limit, 3 mm is preferable, 1000 μm is more preferable, 750 μm is further preferable, and 600 μm is particularly preferable. By setting the average thickness of the multilayer structure to be equal to or higher than the lower limit, the strength, bending resistance, durability, gas barrier property, and the like can be improved. By setting the average thickness to the upper limit or less, flexibility, moldability, lightness, bending resistance, and the like can be enhanced, and manufacturing costs can be suppressed.
The D layer is formed of a rubber material containing a diene-based rubber. Diene-based rubber refers to rubber having a carbon double bond in the main chain. Examples of the diene rubber include natural rubber (NR), isoprene rubber (IR), cis-1,4-polybutadiene (BR), syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene (1,2BR), and styrene-butadiene co-weight. Examples thereof include coalesced rubber (SBR), acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), chloroprene rubber (CR), and butyl rubber (IIR). These diene-based rubbers may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The D layer may be formed of only the diene-based rubber, but may contain components other than the diene-based rubber as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Examples of other components include softeners, antioxidants, vulcanizers, vulcanization accelerators, vulcanization accelerator aids, scorch inhibitors, zinc oxide, stearic acid, fillers and the like.
The average thickness of one layer of the D layer is not particularly limited, but the lower limit is preferably 10 μm, more preferably 100 μm. On the other hand, as the upper limit, 3 mm is preferable, 1 mm is more preferable, and 0.5 mm is further preferable.
The D layer and the layer adjacent to the D layer (C layer, etc.) are strongly bonded at the interface by a crosslinking reaction (vulcanization reaction). In particular, when the C layer is formed of a polymer containing a styrene-based elastomer or the like having a sufficient double bond in the main chain, a sufficient cross-linking reaction with a diene-based rubber is possible.
As shown in FIG. 3, the

<Manufacturing method of multilayer structure>
The multilayer structure can be preferably obtained by a manufacturing method including a step of heat-adhering the D layer to the laminate of the present invention.
The heat bonding can be performed by laminating the outermost layer (for example, C layer) and the D layer (diene rubber film) of the laminated body of the present invention and heating them. This heating causes cross-linking between the outermost layer and the D layer of the laminate, resulting in strong adhesion. The lower limit of the heating temperature at this time is preferably 120 ° C., more preferably 125 ° C., and even more preferably 130 ° C. [Example 1]
EVOH1 "EVAL (registered trademark) F101B", which is a gas barrier resin (a), was supplied as an A layer forming material to the extruder for the A layer. The extruder for the B layer was pre-dry blended with the elastomer (b) MA-SEBS1 "Tough Tech (registered trademark) M1943" and the elastomer (b') SBS1 "JSR TR2827" at a mass ratio of 30/70. Was supplied as a B layer forming material. For the extruder for the C layer, SBS2 "Toughprene (registered trademark) A", which is an adhesive resin (c), was supplied as a C layer forming material. As a result, a laminated body of 3 types and 21 layers was produced. The co-extruder used for manufacturing has a 21-layer feed block, and by supplying the forming material of each layer to the co-extruder in a molten state at 190 ° C. and performing co-extrusion, a laminated body having a three-kind 21-layer structure. Got Coextrusion was performed so that the 9 layers A and the 10 layers B were alternately laminated, and the C layer was laminated on the outer surface of the outermost B2 layer among the B layers. That is, the layered structure of the obtained laminate is C / B2 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / B1 / A / It was B2 / C. For the B layer forming material, the iodine value and the amount of polar groups were measured according to the evaluation methods (1) and (2). The results are shown in Table 1. Further, regarding the B layer forming material and the C layer forming material, in accordance with JIS K 7244-4: 1999 (Plastic-Dynamic mechanical property test method Part 4: Tensile vibration-Resonance method), under the following conditions. The tensile storage elastic modulus E'at -30 ° C and 40 ° C was measured. The results are shown in Table 1.

The evaluation results are shown in Table 1.
[Examples 2 to 22, Comparative Examples 1 to 7]
Examples 2 to 2 are the same as in Example 1 except that the type of resin forming each layer, the amount of resin, the number of layers of each layer, and the average thickness of one layer of each layer are changed as described in Tables 1 to 4. 22 and each laminated body of Comparative Examples 1 to 7 were manufactured and evaluated. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 4.
As shown in Tables 1 to 3, each of the laminates of Examples 1 to 22 has an oxygen permeation rate of 300 mL / ( m2 , day, atm) or less, has sufficient gas barrier properties, and has pinholes after bending. The number was 5 or less, and it had sufficient bending resistance. Further, the multilayer structures obtained from the laminated bodies of Examples 1 to 22 had an number of peelings at the ends of 5 or less, and had excellent end adhesiveness. On the other hand, as shown in Table 4, in Comparative Examples 1 to 7, at least one of bending resistance (number of pinholes after bending) and end adhesiveness (number of peeling at the end) is insufficient. rice field.
Comparing the examples, as shown in Examples 1 to 7 of Table 1, by adjusting the content of the polar group and the iodine value, the interlayer adhesiveness, appearance, edge adhesiveness, etc. can be further improved. I understand. From Examples 8 to 10 in Table 2, it can be seen that the appearance is improved by providing the C layer having an iodine value and a tensile storage elastic modulus in a predetermined range. From Examples 12 to 14 and the like in Table 2, it can be seen that the bending resistance is enhanced by increasing the thickness of the B2 layer relatively.
The laminate of the present invention is used as a material for a rubber film that is required to have gas barrier properties, bending resistance, etc., for example, as a material for an inner liner of a pneumatic tire, an inner bag of an accumulator, a pneumatic ball, an air spring, or the like.
