Claims (11)
- 2つ以上のバッテリーセルを含むバッテリーモジュールであって、
前記バッテリーセルは、反対極性の電極リードの一端部が両端にそれぞれ接続された電極組立体がパウチケースに電解液とともに収納密封された構造を有し、前記電極リードの他端部が前記パウチケースの外部に露出しているパウチ型二次電池であり、
前記バッテリーセルのうち第1バッテリーセルと第2バッテリーセルとの間を電気的に接続するために、前記電極リードとバスバーとが連結され、
前記バスバーは、金属層と、普段は導電性であるが温度が上昇すれば抵抗として作動可能な物質層とを含んでなり、
前記物質層は、一定温度以上で分解されてガスを発生させることで抵抗を増加させるガス発生材料を含んでいる、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記物質層は、前記ガス発生材料、伝導性物質及び接着剤を含んでいる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ガス発生材料は、メラミンシアヌレートである、請求項1又は2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記接着剤によって前記伝導性物質が互いに連結及び固定され、前記ガス発生時に前記伝導性物質の連結が解除されて抵抗が増加する、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、前記電極リードと連結される部分が、前記バスバーの本体と分離されて前記本体内に埋め込まれ、表面は外部に露出するブロックからなり、前記本体とブロックとの間に前記物質層が介在されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、前記第1バッテリーセルの電極リードと連結される第1ブロック、及び前記第2バッテリーセルの電極リードと連結される第2ブロックを含み、前記第1バッテリーセルから前記第2バッテリーセルへの電流経路は、前記第1バッテリーセルの電極リード、前記第1ブロック、前記本体と第1ブロックとの間に介在された物質層、前記本体、前記本体と第2ブロックとの間に介在された物質層、前記第2ブロック及び前記第2バッテリーセルの電極リードの順に形成される、請求項5に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記第1バッテリーセルと前記第2バッテリーセルとは、前記バスバーを通じて直列で連結されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記第1バッテリーセルと前記第2バッテリーセルとは、それぞれの電極リードが反対極性になるように積層され、前記第1バッテリーセルの電極リードの他端部と前記第2バッテリーセルの電極リードの他端部とは積層方向に沿って相互に向かって折り曲げられ、それぞれの電極リードの折り曲げられた部分の間に前記バスバーが前記積層方向と平行に置かれてそれぞれの電極リードの間が連結されている、請求項7に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーは、長さと幅に比べて薄い厚さを有する略板状であり、前記電極リードが貫通する溝が形成されている、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 少なくとも1つの請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールと、
前記少なくとも1つのバッテリーモジュールをパッケージングするパックケースとを含む、バッテリーパック。 - 少なくとも1つの請求項10に記載のバッテリーパックを含む、自動車。
