Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tripod type constant velocity joint and a method for manufacturing a tripod type constant velocity joint.
Conventionally, for example, a tripod type constant velocity joint disclosed in Patent Document 1 is known. This conventional tripod type constant velocity joint is a double roller type, and the substantially spherical tripod shaft portion of the tripod abuts on the inner roller and the outer roller abuts on the raceway groove of the outer ring to transmit torque inside the outer ring. It is designed to do.
By the way, in a tripod type constant velocity joint, when a joint angle is given and the outer ring rotates, the tripod shaft portion reciprocates relatively in the axial direction of the tripod shaft portion with respect to the inner roller, so that the inner roller Friction force is generated between and. The frictional force generated between the tripod shaft and the inner roller acts as a force for tilting the inner roller and the outer roller, and as a result, between the outer peripheral surface of the tilted outer roller and the raceway groove of the outer ring. Expulsive force may occur. The generated vibration force may cause unnecessary vibration in the vehicle.
Here, the displacement amount of the reciprocating motion of the tripod shaft portion differs depending on the size of the joint angle, and the displacement amount increases as the joint angle increases, and the displacement amount decreases as the joint angle decreases. Further, in general, the displacement amount of the reciprocating motion of the tripod shaft portion is the displacement amount in one direction and the displacement amount in the opposite direction with respect to the center of the width of the inner roller in the direction along the axial direction of the tripod shaft portion. different.
In order to suppress the tilting of the inner and outer rollers due to the frictional force generated between the tripod shaft and the inner roller, in other words, to suppress unnecessary vibration, one in the reciprocating movement of the tripod shaft. It is effective that the amount of displacement in the direction opposite to the direction is the same. However, in constant velocity joints mounted on various vehicles, the joint angle commonly used differs depending on each vehicle. Therefore, the axial position of the spherical portion in the tripod shaft portion, that is, the pitch of the tripod shaft portion so that the displacement amount in one direction and the opposite direction in the reciprocating movement of the tripod shaft portion becomes the same according to various joint angles. It is difficult to adjust the diameter of the circle to make a constant velocity joint.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tripod type constant velocity joint in which the diameter of a pitch circle in a tripod shaft portion can be easily adjusted, and a method for manufacturing the same.

(Manufacturing method of tripod type constant velocity joint)
The method for manufacturing a tripod-type constant velocity joint is an outer ring having a cylindrical shape and having a plurality of axial grooves extending in the axial direction, and an annular boss and a raceway groove housed inside the outer ring. A tripod having a columnar tripod shaft portion protruding from the boss toward the boss, a cylindrical inner roller fitted to each of the tripod shaft portions, and an outer roller fitted to the inner roller and guided by a track groove. It is a method of manufacturing a tripod type constant velocity joint including a roller and a plurality of rolling elements arranged between an inner roller and an outer roller, and a driving force is transmitted between the tripod shaft portion and the inner roller. A positioning step in which a ring member having a spherical surface that sometimes contacts an inner roller on the outer circumference is positioned at a predetermined position in the axial direction of the tripod shaft portion, and a ring member is fixed to each tripod shaft portion in a state of being positioned in the positioning step. It is provided with a fixing process to be performed.
According to these, the tripod can have a ring member fixed in a predetermined position with respect to the columnar tripod shaft portion. As a result, when the tripod type constant velocity joint is mounted on the vehicle, the pitch circle of the ring member fixed to the tripod shaft portion is formed by positioning and fixing the ring member according to the vehicle's regular joint angle. The diameter can be easily adjusted. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the tilting of the inner roller and the outer roller due to the frictional force generated between the ring member and the inner roller, and it is possible to suppress unnecessary vibration when mounted on the vehicle. ..

(1. Overall configuration of constant velocity joint assembly 1)
The constant velocity joint assembly 1 will be described with reference to FIG. The constant velocity joint assembly 1 is used, for example, for a power transmission shaft of a vehicle. The constant velocity joint assembly 1 is used as a connecting portion between the differential (not shown) and the wheel (not shown).
As shown in FIG. 1, the constant velocity joint assembly 1 includes a double roller type tripod type constant velocity joint 2 (hereinafter, also simply referred to as “constant velocity joint 2”), a
(2. Configuration of constant velocity joint 2)
The constant velocity joint 2 includes an
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Each
The
Here, the
In this example, the
The
Each of the three
The
(3. Detailed configuration of
In the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
Here, the surface on the side where torque is transmitted between the
(4. Tilt of the
The
Further, as described above, the
As described above, when the
By the way, when the
The frictional force generated between the
Here, the relative displacement amount of the
That is, when the
Then, in order to reduce the inclination of the
(5. Adjustment of the
Therefore, in this example, as shown in FIG. 5, the displacement of the
Here, the predetermined position is set with reference to the center M of the width of the
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, when the joint angle is large, the
Therefore, when the joint angle is large, the thickness of the
In this way, by setting the plate thickness of the
(6. Manufacturing method of tripod type constant velocity joint 2)
Next, a method of manufacturing the constant velocity joint 2 will be described. In the manufacture of the constant velocity joint 2, a positioning step of positioning the
In the positioning step of this example, first, the
Subsequently, in the fixing step of this example, the
As can be understood from the above description, according to the double roller type tripod type constant velocity joint 2, the
Further, the double roller type tripod type constant velocity joint 2 of this example is mounted between the
As a result, when the double roller type tripod type constant velocity joint 2 is mounted on the vehicle, the
Further, by adding the
Further, by manufacturing the
Further, the
(7. Others)
In this example described above, the

Further, in the above-mentioned example, the
