Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a current detection device that detects a current flowing through a conductor.
Conventionally, when measuring the current flowing through a conductor, the magnetic flux density of the magnetic field generated around the conductor is detected by a magnetic detection element according to the current flowing through the conductor, and the magnetic flux density is applied to the conductor based on the detected magnetic flux density. A technique has been used to calculate and obtain the current. A configuration in which a current sensor using such a technique is arranged close to a power module is described, for example, in
In the technique described in
Therefore, there is a demand for a current sensor that stably detects the current flowing from the power module, and a miniaturized current detection device.
The characteristic configuration of the current detection device according to the present invention is a housing provided with a first accommodating portion in which the power module is accommodated and a second accommodating portion in which the current sensor is accommodated at a position adjacent to the first accommodating portion. It comprises a body and the current sensor housed in the second accommodating portion, the current sensor with respect to at least two conductors, one end of which is electrically connected to the power module, and the conductor. At least two magnetic detection elements are provided, which have detection surfaces facing the same direction and detect the magnetic flux density of the magnetic current input to the detection surface, and input to each of the detection surfaces of the at least two magnetic detection elements. It has at least two magnetic conversion units that output signals corresponding to the difference in the magnetic flux densities of orthogonal components orthogonal to the detection surface of the magnetic current, and each of the at least two conductors is adjacent to each other. The extending portion orthogonal to the first direction, which is the adjacent direction of the two conductors, and extending along the second direction toward the first accommodating portion, and orthogonal to both the first direction and the second direction. It has an orthogonal portion extending along the third direction and is provided with a concave portion recessed in the third direction with respect to the extending portion, and each of the at least two magnetic conversion units has the detection surface. Is provided so as to face each of the orthogonal portions of the concave portion, and the concave portion is arranged in the concave portion provided in the second accommodating portion.
With such a characteristic configuration, the current sensor does not require a magnetic collecting core and a shield core, and can be configured by a conductor and a magnetic-electric conversion unit that are electrically connected to the power module. This makes it possible to reduce the size of the current sensor. Along with this, the current detection device can be easily miniaturized by having a first accommodating portion in which the power module is accommodated and a second accommodating portion in which the current sensor is accommodated. The current flowing through each can be detected stably.
As another characteristic configuration, it is preferable that the housing is formed so that a heat sink can be arranged at least on the outer bottom surface in the vicinity of the recess in the bottom portion on the side opposite to the side in which the current sensor is housed.
In a current sensor, heat is generated from a conductor when a current flows through the conductor. At this time, the magnetic-electric conversion unit located near the concave portion of the conductor may receive heat from the conductor, and the magnetic-electric conversion unit may become hot. Since the magnetic-electric conversion unit has temperature characteristics and the output voltage tends to fluctuate at high temperatures, it is necessary to configure a current detection device so that the magnetic-electric conversion unit does not become hot. Therefore, in this configuration, the housing is formed so that the heat sink can be arranged on the outer bottom surface at least near the recess in the bottom portion on the side opposite to the side in which the current sensor is housed. With such a configuration, the heat sink can be easily arranged in close contact with the outer bottom surface of the bottom portion of the housing. As a result, the heat generated by the conductor can be reliably dissipated to the outside from the concave portion housed in the concave portion of the housing through the heat sink attached to the housing. As a result, the temperature rise of the magnetic-electric conversion unit can be suppressed.
As another characteristic configuration, in the current sensor, the two magnetic conversion units provided in the concave portions of the two conductors adjacent to each other are mounted on different surfaces on one substrate, and the casing is provided. It is preferable that the upper part of the second accommodating portion of the body is open, and the terminals connected to the substrate extend toward the upper part of the housing.
With such a configuration, the magnetic-electric conversion unit can be positioned with respect to each of the plurality of concave portions with reference to one surface and the other surface of one substrate. Therefore, it is possible to easily arrange the magnetic-electric conversion unit at each desired position of the plurality of concave portions while minimizing the number of substrates used. Further, the housing may be provided with connection terminals for connecting the housed power module to other devices, and such connection terminals may be extended toward the upper side of the housing. Therefore, by extending the terminals connected to the board toward the upper part of the housing, the extending direction of the terminals connected to the board and the extending direction of the connection terminals for other devices should be matched. Can be done. Thereby, when connecting another device such as a motor driver, the current detection device can connect the terminal connected to the board and the connection terminal provided in the housing to the device from the same direction. As a result, the current detection device can be easily connected to other devices.
As another characteristic configuration, in the current sensor, the concave portion of at least one of the concave portions provided in each of the at least two conductors is the first accommodation rather than the concave portion of the other conductor. The housing is provided close to the side of the portion, the housing has a partition portion on the side of the first accommodating portion in the recess, and the outer surface of the partition portion is the said of each of the at least two conductors. It is preferable that the structure is such that the distance from the concave portion is constant.
In the current detection device, the concave portions provided on the plurality of conductors may have different distances from the outer surface of the partition portion on the side of the first accommodating portion of the concave portion of the housing. In this case, even if the heat sink is arranged so as to be in close contact with the outer bottom surface of the bottom portion of the housing, the distance from the concave portion to the outer surface of the partition portion is long for a conductor in which the distance from the concave portion to the outer surface of the partition portion is long. The amount of heat transferred to the heat sink is smaller than that of other conductors that are close to each other. Therefore, in the magnetic-electric conversion unit located in the vicinity of the conductor where the distance from the concave portion to the outer surface of the partition portion is long, the temperature rise may not be sufficiently suppressed due to the influence of the heat generated by the conductor. Therefore, in this configuration, the outer surface of the partition portion is configured so that the distance from each of the concave portions of at least two conductors is constant. With such a configuration, by arranging the heat sink in contact with the outer surface of the partition portion of the concave portion, the heat generated by the plurality of conductors is evenly transferred from the concave portion via the heat sink. .. As a result, it is possible to evenly suppress the temperature rise of all the magnetic and electrical conversion units arranged in the current detection device.
As another characteristic configuration, the outer bottom surface of the bottom portion opposite to the side where the current sensor is accommodated in the housing and the outer surface of the partition portion on the side of the first accommodating portion of the recess are brought into close contact with each other. It is preferable to further provide a heat sink extending from the first accommodating portion to the second accommodating portion in a plan view.
With such a configuration, the heat generated by the power module housed in the first housing part and the conductor of the current sensor housed in the second housing part is positively dissipated to the outside through the heat sink. be able to. As a result, the temperature rise of the magnetic / electrical conversion unit of the power module and the current sensor can be appropriately suppressed.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 7, the

FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the
パワーモジュールケース10は、樹脂製であり、例えばPPS(ポリフェニレンサルファイド)、PBT(ポリブチレンテレフタレート)、LCP(液晶ポリマー)等によって形成される。
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
Each of the three
In the present embodiment, such an adjacent direction is referred to as a first direction. The second direction is a direction orthogonal to the first direction, and in the present embodiment, the Y direction in FIGS. 1 to 7 corresponds to the direction. Therefore, the
The

The
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the
In this way, the
In the present embodiment, the magnetic-
Each of the two
Here, when a current flows through the
The two
Here, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9, the directions of the orthogonal components of the magnetic flux input to the detection surfaces 53 of the two
Further, in the present embodiment, each of the magnetic /
In the present embodiment, assuming that the
Further, the magnetic
Therefore, assuming that the two
Similarly, assuming that the two
Therefore, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the magnetic conversion is provided in the
In the present embodiment, for example, two magnetic detections of the magnetic
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the
In the
In the present embodiment, in the
