Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a mattress in which both ends in the width direction of the mattress are harder than the central portion and the mattress has good washing and drying properties.
When a mattress user or caregiver sits on or leans on both ends of the mattress in the width direction, the mattress for long-term care has a risk of unstable posture and tipping over if it is greatly elastically deformed. There is a problem that the posture collapses and it becomes difficult to perform nursing care work. In order to improve the problem, both ends of the mattress in the width direction are made harder than the central part.
As a conventional mattress with hardened both ends in the width direction of the mattress, it has a three-layer structure in which the front surface layer, the intermediate layer and the back surface layer are bonded, and the intermediate layer is composed of hard members made of polyurethane foam at both ends in the width direction. Some parts are made of a soft member made of polyurethane foam (Patent Document 1).
However, in the conventional mattress having a three-layer structure in which both ends in the width direction are hardened, the hard member made of polyurethane foam constituting both ends in the width direction of the intermediate layer has a thickness of about 30 mm and is centered by an adhesive. Since it is adhered to the soft member of the portion and the upper and lower front surface layers and the back surface layer, the side surface and the upper and lower surfaces of the soft member in the central portion in the width direction are in contact with the hard members on both sides in the width direction and the upper and lower front surface layers and the back surface layer. It is surrounded by a layer of adhesive, and if the washing water enters the central part when washing the mattress, it is difficult to evaporate to the outside, and there is a problem that it takes a long time to dry.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a mattress in which both ends in the width direction are harder than the central portion and the mattress has good drying property during washing.

The invention of claim 7 is characterized in that, in
Since the mattress of the present invention has a first polyureta foam and a third polyurethane foam that is harder than the second polyurethane foam at both ends in the width direction, the mattress user, a caregiver, or the like can use the mattress in the width direction. When sitting on or leaning on both ends, there is no significant elastic deformation, it is possible to prevent the posture from becoming unstable, and it is possible to support nursing care work.
Further, in the mattress of the present invention, the surface of the third polyurethane foam provided at both ends in the width direction is covered with an adhesive layer on the surface in contact with either the first polyurethane foam or the second polyurethane foam. The other surface is not covered with an adhesive layer. Moreover, the third polyurethane foam has a breathability of 70 l / min or more in accordance with ASTM D7574, and has high breathability. Therefore, when the mattress is washed, the washing water that has entered the central portion of the mattress can evaporate to the outside through the highly breathable third polyurethane foam when the mattress is dried, and good drying property can be obtained.
In the present invention, by assuming that the third polyurethane foam has an elongation of 70% or more in accordance with JIS K6400-5, both ends in the width direction of the mattress are pressed by nursing care or the like, and both ends in the width direction are pressed. Even if the third polyurethane foam of the portion is stretched and deformed, the possibility that the third polyurethane foam is broken is low.
In the present invention, by making the thickness of the third polyurethane foam as thin as 1 mm to 10 mm, the mattress can have a structure close to two layers, and the adhesive area due to the adhesive layer can be reduced. Dryness is further improved.
In the present invention, the surface area of the mattress surface is increased by providing irregularities on at least one surface of the first polyurethane foam or the second polyurethane foam by profile processing, so that the washing and drying property of the mattress is improved. , Body pressure dispersibility is also improved.
By setting the profiled surface area to be twice or more and four times or less as compared with the flat surface when not profiled, the washing and drying property of the mattress is improved, and the body pressure dispersibility is also improved.
By forming the convex portion by profile processing into a wedge-shaped cross section having a smaller thickness on the top side than on the base side, the washing and drying property of the mattress is improved, and the body pressure dispersibility is further improved.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the mattress of the present invention will be described. The mattress of the present invention is suitable for use by placing it on a bed. The
The first polyurethane foam 21 and the second polyurethane foam 31 are laminated with the
The first polyurethane foam 21 has a hardness lower than that of the second polyurethane foam 31. The hardness of the first polyurethane foam 21 is 120N, and the hardness is preferably in the range of 90N to 150N. Further, the first polyurethane foam 21 is preferably a flexible polyurethane foam having an open cell structure. The first polyurethane foam 21 having a low hardness and the second polyurethane foam 31 having a high hardness may be on the side (upper side) in contact with the human body, but preferably, the first polyurethane foam 21 having a low hardness is the human body. It is considered to be the contacting side (upper side).
The
The second polyurethane foam 31 has a higher hardness than the first polyurethane foam 21. The hardness of the second polyurethane foam 31 is 210N, and the hardness is preferably in the range of 170N to 250N. The hardness difference between the second polyurethane tongue foam 31 and the first polyurethane foam 21 is 90N, preferably 80N to 100N. By making the hardness of the second polyurethane foam 31 higher than the hardness of the first polyurethane foam 21, the side in contact with the human body is the first polyurethane foam 21 having a low hardness, and the floor surface side is a high hardness first polyurethane foam 21. When the polyurethane foam 31 of 2 is used, the effect of improving the body pressure distribution by increasing the contact area can be obtained. The second polyurethane foam 31 is preferably a flexible polyurethane foam having an open cell structure.
The third polyurethane foam 41 is provided at both ends of the
The third polyurethane foam 41 is formed of a long strip along the length direction L of the
The third polyurethane foam 41 is provided at both ends of the
The third polyurethane foam 41 has a higher hardness than the second polyurethane foam 31. That is, there is a relationship of [hardness of the third polyurethane foam 41> hardness of the second polyurethane foam 31> hardness of the first polyurethane foam 21]. The hardness of the third polyurethane foam 41 is 10 kPa, and the hardness is preferably in the range of 9 kPa to 11 kPa. By making the hardness of the third polyurethane foam 41 higher than the hardness of the first polyurethane foam 21 and the second polyurethane foam 31, a mattress user, a caregiver, or the like can sit on both ends of the mattress in the width direction. It is possible to prevent instability of the posture due to large elastic deformation when leaning against or leaning on it, and to support nursing work.
Further, the third polyurethane foam 31 has a ventilation of 70 liters (liter) / min or more in accordance with ASTM D7574, and is highly breathable. More preferred aeration is 70 l / min to 120 l / min.
The third polyurethane foam 41 provided at both ends of the
Further, the third polyurethane foam 41 preferably has an elongation of 70% or more, more preferably 70% to 100%, in accordance with JIS K6400-5. By setting the elongation of the third polyurethane foam 41 to 70% or more, both ends of the
At least one of the first polyurethane foam 21 and the second polyurethane foam 31 is preferably provided with
In profile processing, polyurethane foam is compressed from both sides with a concave-convex roller or mold, and the compressed polyurethane foam is cut at positions between the concave-convex rollers and molds to divide it into two, and then decompressed and restored. This is a known method for forming irregularities on the divided surface of the polyurethane foam.
The shape of the
The first polyurethane foam 21 is a flexible polyurethane foam having a density of 25 kg / m 3 , a hardness of 120 N, an elongation of 80% according to JIS K6400-5, a product name: EAH-M, and an open cell structure made by Inoac Corporation, and a thickness of 60 mm. A concave-convex shape having a width of 910 mm and a length of 1910 mm and a wedge-shaped convex portion formed by profile processing on one side was used, and the uneven surface area was about 2.8 times that of a flat surface without unevenness. The surface area of the profiled uneven surface was calculated using a test piece measuring 100 mm × 100 mm square, while the surface area of the unprofiled flat surface was calculated by the same width × length.

A concave-convex shape having a width of 40 mm, a width of 910 mm, a length of 1910 mm, and a wedge-shaped convex portion formed by profile processing on one side was used, and the surface area having irregularities was about 2.8 times that of a flat surface without irregularities. The surface area of the profiled uneven surface was calculated using a test piece measuring 100 mm × 100 mm square, while the surface area of the unprofiled flat surface was calculated by the same width × length.
