Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polypropylene-based multilayer sheet and a method for producing the same.
Polypropylene stretched films are used in fields where excellent transparency and mechanical properties are required in addition to high heat resistance. However, since the thickness is as thin as less than 150 μm, the applications are limited, and if the thickness of the stretched film can be increased, it is expected to be expanded to other applications. For example,
The inventors have come up with the idea that if the stretched film described in the patent document contains an inorganic filler, a sheet having higher rigidity can be obtained, and the use of polypropylene can be further expanded. However, conventionally, when a polypropylene-based resin composition containing an inorganic filler is stretched, the film breaks from the inorganic filler as a starting point, so that a stretched film (uniaxially stretched film or biaxially stretched film) cannot be obtained. .. Therefore, it has not been studied so far that a resin composition containing an inorganic filler is made into a stretched film and a sheet is obtained from the stretched film. In view of such circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to provide a multilayer sheet containing a layer containing a polypropylene resin and an inorganic filler, which has high rigidity.

In the present invention, the film refers to a thin plate-like or film-like member. The thickness of the film is not limited, but is preferably less than 0.15 mm. The member having a thickness of 0.15 mm or more may be referred to as a sheet. Further, "X to Y" includes values at both ends, that is, X and Y.
1. 1. Multilayer sheet multilayer sheet comprises oriented thermoplastic resin film layer N L having a oriented polypropylene film layer F L and a thickness of less than 0.15mm has a thickness of less than 0.15mm. These layers are in close contact with each other, forming an integral multilayer sheet. The layer FL is formed of a resin composition containing a polypropylene-based resin (component (A)) and a relatively large amount of an inorganic filler (component (B)). The layer NL is formed of a resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a relatively small amount of an inorganic filler (component (B)), or a resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin but not containing the component (B). For convenience, the oriented polypropylene film layer F L "Filler layer F L" refers to oriented thermoplastic resin film layer N L as "neat layer N L". FIG. 1 shows one aspect of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a multilayer sheet, FL is a stretched polypropylene film layer, and NL is a stretched thermoplastic resin film layer.
(1) Polypropylene resin (component (A))
The polypropylene-based resin is a resin containing polypropylene as a main component. Polypropylene resin constituting the filler layer F L consists 100-60% by weight of component (A1) and 0 to 40 wt% of the optional component (A2). When the component (A2) is more than 0% by weight, the component (A) is a so-called heterophase copolymer obtained by polymerizing the component (A1) and polymerizing the component (A2) in the presence of the component. (HECO) may be used, or the component (A1) and the component (A2) separately prepared by polymerization may be blended, but the component (A) can be obtained in a smaller number of manufacturing steps. HECO is preferable.
[Ingredient (A1)]
The component (A1) is a propylene (co) polymer containing 0 to 1% by weight of a comonomer-derived unit selected from the group consisting of ethylene, C4-C10-α-olefin, and a combination thereof. When a comonomer is contained, ethylene is preferable from the viewpoint of economy. If the amount of the comonomer-derived unit exceeds the upper limit, the rigidity of the film may decrease. From this point of view, it is preferable that the component (A1) does not contain comonomer-derived units, that is, it is a propylene homopolymer. Alternatively, when the component (A1) contains a unit derived from a comonomer, the amount thereof is preferably more than 0% by weight and 0.5% by weight or less.
The content of the component (A1) in the polypropylene resin is 60 to 100% by weight. If the content of the component (A1) is small, it may be difficult to produce a polypropylene-based resin. Therefore, the content of the component (A1) is preferably 70 to 100% by weight, more preferably 75 to 100% by weight.
成分(A)のMFR(230℃、荷重2.16kg)は0.1〜15g/10分である。 The MFR (230 ° C., load 2.16 kg) of the component (A) is 0.1 to 15 g / 10 minutes. If the MFR exceeds the upper limit value, it becomes difficult to prepare a stretched film as a raw material for the multilayer sheet, and if it is less than the lower limit value, it becomes difficult to produce the component (A). From this point of view, the lower limit of the MFR is preferably 1 g / 10 minutes or more, more preferably 2 g / 10 minutes or more, and the upper limit is preferably 10 g / 10 minutes or less, more preferably. 8 g / 10 minutes or less.
[Ingredient (A2)]
The optional component (A2) is an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer containing 10 to 90% by weight of ethylene-derived units. If the ethylene-derived unit is less than the lower limit value or exceeds the upper limit value, the cold impact resistance is lowered. From this point of view, the content of the ethylene-derived unit is preferably 15 to 85% by weight, more preferably 20 to 80% by weight. The α-olefin is not limited as long as it is other than ethylene, but is preferably propylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, more preferably propylene, 1-butene, and further preferably propylene.
The content of the component (A2) in the polypropylene-based resin is 0 to 40% by weight. If the content of the component (A2) is excessively large, it may be difficult to produce a polypropylene-based resin. Therefore, the content of the component (A2) is preferably 0 to 35% by weight, more preferably 0 to 30% by weight.
(2) Inorganic filler (component (B))
Inorganic filler is added mainly for the purpose of improving the rigidity of the material. Examples of the inorganic filler include the following from the viewpoint of substances.
Natural silicates or silicates such as talc, kaolinite, clay, bilophilite, serinite, wollastonite, mica; synthetic silicates or silicates such as hydrous calcium silicate, hydrous aluminum silicate, hydrous silicate, anhydrous silicate; precipitated carbonic acid Carbonates such as calcium, heavy calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; hydroxides such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide; oxides such as zinc oxide and magnesium oxide.
Further, examples of the inorganic filler include the following from the viewpoint of shape.
Powdered fillers such as synthetic silicates or silicates such as hydrous calcium silicate, hydrous aluminum silicate, hydrous silicic acid, anhydrous silicic acid; plate-like fillers such as talc, kaolinite, clay, mica; basic magnesium sulfate whiskers, titanic acid Whisker-like fillers such as calcium whiskers, aluminum borate whiskers, sepiolite, PMF (Proceeded Military Filler), zonotrite, potassium titanate, and elestadite; balun-like fillers such as glass balun and fly ash balun; fibrous materials such as glass fiber. filler.
One type may be used as the inorganic filler, or two or more types may be used in combination. In order to improve the dispersibility of these fillers, the surface treatment of the inorganic filler may be performed as needed. The inorganic filler used in the present invention is not limited, but a plate-shaped inorganic filler is preferable from the viewpoint of enhancing the rigidity and impact resistance by promoting the orientation of the polypropylene crystal in the filler layer FL in the direction along the film surface. .. As the plate-shaped inorganic filler, known materials such as talc, kaolinite, clay, and mica can be used, but talc is preferable in consideration of affinity with polypropylene resin, ease of procurement as a raw material, economy, and the like. , Mica, and more preferably talc. The volume average particle size of the plate-shaped inorganic filler is preferably 1 to 10 μm, more preferably 2 to 7 μm. When the volume average particle diameter is less than the lower limit, the rigidity of the filler layer F L becomes lower. If the volume average particle size exceeds the upper limit, breakage is likely to occur during stretching, which makes it difficult to prepare a stretched film as a raw material for the multilayer sheet. The volume average particle size can be measured by a laser diffraction method (based on JIS R1629) as a 50% diameter in a volume-based integrated fraction.
(3) Thermoplastic Resin As the thermoplastic resin used for the neat layer NL , known ones can be used. As described later, since the multilayered sheet is preferably manufactured through a step of stretching the raw sheet of the present invention, the layer corresponding to the filler layer F L and neat layer N L in raw sheet F U and layer N U The thermoplastic resin is selected so as to satisfy the relationship of TmF U − TmN U ≦ 60 ° C., where TmF U and TmN U have melting points, respectively. If the difference in melting points exceeds the upper limit, it becomes difficult to manufacture a multi-layer sheet due to the handling surface such as stickiness. From this point of view, the difference in melting points is preferably 40 ° C. or lower, more preferably 30 ° C. or lower, still more preferably 20 ° C. or lower. The lower limit of the difference in melting points is preferably 0 ° C. or higher. In the present invention, the melting point is the peak top temperature on the highest temperature side observed when heated from room temperature (23 ° C.) to melting temperature (230 ° C.) at 10 ° C./min using DSC according to JIS K7271. is there. The melting point TmF L and TMN L layers F L and layer N L is sometimes different from the TmF U and TMN U, the difference (TmF L -TmN L) also is preferably 60 ° C. or less. The difference is preferably 40 ° C. or lower, more preferably 30 ° C. or lower, and even more preferably 20 ° C. or lower. The lower limit of the difference is preferably 0 ° C. or higher.
From the viewpoint of affinity with the filler layer F L, polyolefin is preferred as thermoplastic resins. Examples of polyolefins include polypropylene, polyethylene, ethylene / propylene copolymer, ethylene / propylene / conjugated diene copolymer, ethylene / 1-butene copolymer, ethylene / 1-hexene copolymer, and ethylene / 1-octene copolymer. Examples thereof include coalescing, propylene / 1-butene copolymer, propylene / 1-hexene copolymer, propylene / 1-octene copolymer and the like. The polypropylene may be homopolypropylene, block polypropylene, or random polypropylene. The polyethylene may be any of ultra-low density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, medium density polyethylene, and high density polyethylene. One type of polyolefin may be used alone, or two or more types may be used in combination. Among polyolefins, from the viewpoint of compatibility with the filler layer F L, polypropylene resin is preferred. In particular, in view of the adhesion between the filler layer F L, thermoplastic resin, less than 0-10% by weight of ethylene, C4 -C10-alpha-olefin, and comonomer-derived units selected from the group consisting of It is a polypropylene resin composed of 100 to 60% by weight of a propylene (co) copolymer containing, and 0 to 40% by weight (optional component) of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer containing 10 to 90% by weight of ethylene-derived units. Is more preferable.
(4) Filler layer FL
The weight ratio of the components in the filler layer F L and (A) (B) is as follows.
Ingredient (B) / [Ingredient (A) + Ingredient (B)] = 0.5-60% by weight
If the amount of the component (B) is small, the rigidity of the multilayer sheet is not sufficient, and if the amount of the component (B) is large, it may be difficult to manufacture the multilayer sheet. From this point of view, the weight ratio is preferably 5 to 55% by weight, more preferably 10 to 55% by weight, still more preferably 20 to 55% by weight. Filler layer F L is oriented polypropylene film layer, i.e. is preferably a uniaxially or biaxially oriented polypropylene film layer.

Particularly in the production of multilayer sheet, if comprising the step of preparing a raw sheet of co-extruded co-extruded film, the amount of component (B) in the layer F U original fabric sheet corresponding to the neat layer N L often Hara Since it becomes difficult to stretch the anti-sheet, the weight ratio is preferably 5% by weight or less. The weight ratio is more preferably less than 5% by weight, further preferably 1% by weight or less, particularly preferably 0.5% by weight or less, and most preferably 0% by weight. However, the weight ratio of neat layer N L is smaller than the weight ratio of the filler layer F L.

However, it is not necessary that all of the neat layer N L and the filler layer F L are present alternately, the multilayer sheet, have also the same layer is not present adjacent portions. However, since the filler layer F L together is difficult fused, if the portion of the same layer is adjacent is present, it is preferred the adjacent layer is a neat layer N L.

The total thickness of the neat layer NL is the total thickness of the neat layer NL in the multilayer sheet. The same applies to the filler layer F L. It can be confirmed by cross-sectional observation with a polarizing microscope whether each layer of the sheet is fused and integrated, or whether peeling occurs due to a slight force applied due to insufficient fusion. ..
Although the number of layers depends on the thickness of each layer, it is preferable that 0.01~0.1mm about the filler layer F L and neat layer N L is present about 15 to 100 total layers as an embodiment.

Step 1: oriented polypropylene film F E having a thickness of less than 0.15 mm, and oriented thermoplastic resin film N E to prepare a precursor of the multilayer sheet laminated with a thickness of less than 0.15 mm.
Step 2: The heating body is brought into contact with the outermost layer of the precursor to heat-fuse the layers of the film.
However, TmF E − TmN E ≧ 8 (° C.) is satisfied.
TmF E is the melting point of the oriented polypropylene film F E, TMN E is the melting point of the oriented thermoplastic resin film N E. The melting point is measured as described above.
The stretched polypropylene film FE is formed of a resin composition containing the above-mentioned components (A) and (B), and the weight ratio thereof is also as described above. The stretched thermoplastic resin film NE is formed of a resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and optionally the component (B), and the weight ratio thereof is also as described above.

In this step, a precursor of a multilayer sheet in which a stretched polypropylene film FE and a stretched thermoplastic resin film NE are laminated is prepared. Since the precursor contains a plurality of films, there are a plurality of layers. Not all layers need to be fused, but one or several layers may be fused. For example, when laminating a stretched polypropylene film F E and oriented thermoplastic resin film N E, one by one, all the layers in the precursor is preferably not fused. In the case of using a coextruded film of oriented polypropylene film F E as described later stretched thermoplastic
(1-1) One Aspect of
Oriented thermoplastic resin film N E having a thickness of less than 0.15mm may be prepared by known methods. For example, from the raw material resin composition was prepared unstretched thermoplastic resin sheet N U, which can be obtained uniaxially or biaxially stretched by stretching thermoplastic resin films N E in a known manner.
−3≦V−TmFU≦3 (TmFU
Oriented polypropylene film F E having a thickness of less than 0.15mm is to include an inorganic filler, it is almost impossible to produce by conventional methods. Thus, in this embodiment, it is preferred to prepare the oriented polypropylene film F E through the following steps.
i) A step of melt-kneading the components (A) and (B ) to prepare an unstretched polypropylene sheet FU (raw sheet) (2 in FIG. 2).
ii) the raw sheet, uniaxially or biaxially stretched at a temperature V (° C.) which satisfies the following steps of preparing a stretched polypropylene film F E (FIG. 2 3).
-3 ≤ V-TmF U ≤ 3 (TmF U is the melting point (° C.) of the raw sheet)
iii) laminating a stretched polypropylene film F E and the film N E (FIG. 2 4).
[工程i]
[Step i]
This step (2 in FIG. 2) can be carried out by a known method. For example, a polypropylene-based resin (component (A)) and an inorganic filler (component (B)) can be prepared and dry-blended or melt-kneaded in advance to prepare a resin composition. In preparing the resin composition, it is preferable to provide a step of melt-kneading to form pellets. The conditions at the time of melt-kneading may be as known, but in order to improve the kneading efficiency, it is preferable to perform kneading with a multi-screw extruder (multi-screw machine melt-kneading). At this time, it is more preferable to use a twin-screw extruder from the viewpoint of workability, power and other economic efficiency.
The obtained resin composition can be made into a raw sheet by hot press molding or extrusion molding using a T-die or the like. The raw sheet is a sheet before stretching, that is, before uniaxial or biaxial stretching. When plasticizing the resin composition in extrusion molding, melt kneading may be performed by mounting a multi-axis machine such as a twin-screw machine in addition to the extrusion molding machine equipped with a normal single-screw machine as a screw configuration. In any case, it is preferable to include a multi-screw machine melt-kneading step in preparing the raw sheet.
The raw sheet has a maximum diameter dmax of 500 μm or less of the inorganic filler aggregate measured by the following method. Therefore, the screw structure, kneading temperature, and the like are appropriately adjusted so that the dmax can be achieved.
1) The raw sheet is biaxially stretched in each axial direction at the same stretching ratio, and the main surface of the obtained film is observed to obtain an image.
2) The image is image-analyzed , the diameters of a plurality of inorganic filler aggregates existing in 100 cm 2 are measured, and d is obtained by dividing by the draw ratio.
3) Let dmax be the maximum value of d.
When directly observing the cut surface of the raw sheet, it may be difficult to measure the diameter of the agglomerates because the agglomerates overlap each other when the amount of the inorganic filler in the sample is large. However, in the present invention, by biaxially stretching the raw sheet, the overlap between the aggregates is released, and the diameter of the aggregates can be measured. Therefore, the d obtained by dividing the diameter of the aggregate observed on the film after biaxial stretching by the stretching ratio and the dmax obtained from this are the same as the d and dmax in the raw sheet. That is, the size of the agglomerates containing defects such as voids is measured with the biaxially stretched film of the raw fabric sheet, and the value obtained by dividing it by the stretching ratio is recognized as d in the raw fabric sheet. However, if the raw fabric film breaks during biaxial stretching, the value obtained by measuring the equivalent circle diameter (diameter) of the defects in some of the obtained films and dividing by the stretching ratio at the time of breaking is the raw fabric. Can be certified as d on the sheet. The reason for biaxially stretching the raw fabric sheet to obtain dmax is to eliminate the overlap of the inorganic filler existing in the raw fabric sheet. Therefore, the biaxial stretching condition here does not necessarily satisfy -3 ≤ T-TmF U ≤ 3, and the biaxially stretched film of the raw sheet obtained to obtain dmax and the biaxial stretching as a raw material of the multilayer sheet are obtained. film F E need not be the same. However, from the viewpoint of workability, the raw film may be biaxially stretched so as to satisfy the above conditions.
[Step ii]
In this step (3 in FIG. 2), the raw sheet is stretched at a temperature V, that is, uniaxially or biaxially stretched. The stretching temperature V satisfies -3 ≦ V−TmF U ≦ 3. That is, the stretching temperature V is selected from a temperature range of ± 3 ° C. around the melting point TmF U of the original sheet. By stretching in this temperature range, a single-layer stretched film can be obtained without breaking the raw sheet. The reason for this is not limited, but as a result of the polypropylene partially melted on the surface of the inorganic filler forming epitaxial crystals, the affinity between the two is improved, and the formed crystals are retained in the temperature region of V. It is presumed that this is because this affinity is not impaired.
Stretching (uniaxial stretching, biaxial stretching) can be performed by a known method. That is, as a method of uniaxial stretching, a method of heating the raw sheet obtained by the T-die in an oven or the like and stretching it with a stretching roll or a winder can be mentioned. Examples of the biaxial stretching method include hot plate molding, stretching molding, compression molding, drawing molding, pressure welding molding, fusion molding, vacuum forming, pressure molding, vacuum pressure forming, inflation molding and the like. Further, there are simultaneous biaxial stretching in which the stretching steps in the longitudinal direction and the stretching step in the transverse direction are carried out at the same time, and sequential biaxial stretching in which the stretching step in the transverse direction is carried out after the stretching step in the longitudinal direction is carried out. Either may be adopted. In the sequential biaxial stretching, either the vertical direction or the horizontal direction may come first. In this way, the stretched polypropylene film FE is obtained. From the viewpoint of reducing anisotropy, it is preferable to use a biaxially stretched polypropylene film in this step.

[工程I]
[Step I]
In this step (3 2 '), and a resin composition f and the resin composition n coextruding, to prepare raw sheet C U unstretched. The original sheet is provided with a layer F U and layer N U corresponds to the multilayer sheet obtained finally oriented polypropylene film layer F L and stretched thermoplastic film layer N L. However, the melting point satisfies TmF U − TmN U ≦ 60 ° C. If the difference in melting points exceeds the upper limit, it becomes difficult to manufacture a coextruded sheet in terms of handling such as stickiness. From this point of view, the difference in melting points is preferably 40 ° C. or lower, more preferably 30 ° C. or lower, still more preferably 20 ° C. or lower. The lower limit of the difference in melting points is preferably 0 ° C. or higher.
The step can be carried out by a known method. For example, a polypropylene-based resin (component (A)), an inorganic filler (component (B)) and other components are prepared as necessary, and the resin composition f is prepared by dry-blending or melt-kneading in advance. Can be prepared. Further, the thermoplastic resin (preferably the component (A)) may be used as it is as the raw material for the layer n, or in addition to the thermoplastic resin (preferably the component (A)), an inorganic filler (component (B)) may be used as needed. )) And other components can be prepared, and the resin composition n can be prepared in the same manner. In preparing the resin composition or raw material, it is preferable to provide a step of melt-kneading and pelletizing. The conditions at the time of melt-kneading may be as known, but it is preferable to perform kneading (multi-screw machine melt-kneading) with a multi-screw extruder in order to improve the kneading efficiency. At this time, it is more preferable to use a twin-screw extruder from the viewpoint of workability, power and other economic efficiency.
The obtained resin composition is obtained as an unstretched coextruded sheet CU (raw sheet) by coextrusion molding using a T-die or the like. When plasticizing a resin composition in coextrusion molding, melt kneading can be performed by mounting a multi-axis machine such as a twin-screw machine in addition to an extrusion molding machine equipped with a normal single-screw machine as a screw configuration. .. It is preferable to include a multi-screw machine melt-kneading step in preparing the raw sheet.
In this step (FIG. 3 of 3), the raw sheet C U, uniaxially or biaxially stretched at a temperature W (° C.) that satisfies the following to prepare a multi-layer stretched film C E. The stretching temperature W satisfies -3 ≦ W−TmF U ≦ 3. That is, the stretching temperature W is selected from a temperature range of ± 3 ° C. around the melting point TmF U. By stretching in this temperature range, the multilayer stretched film CE can be obtained without breaking the raw sheet. The reason for this is not limited, but as a result of the polypropylene partially melted on the surface of the inorganic filler forming epitaxial crystals, the affinity between the two is improved, and the formed crystals are retained in the temperature region of T. It is presumed that this is because this affinity is not impaired. Stretching can be performed as described above. The number of layers is not limited and may be two or more, but two or three layers are preferable. In Figure 3, the outer layer showed embodiments in which N E, the outer layer may be F E.
[Step III]
In this step (4 in FIG. 3), at least two multilayer stretched films CE are finally made to have a structure in which different layers are alternately laminated. If the number of layers of the multilayer stretched film C E is an even number, it is preferable that the F E and N E laminated so as to alternate. When the number of layers of the multilayer stretched film CE is an odd number, the same layers may be adjacent to each other, but they are integrated by heat pressure bonding. At that time, from the viewpoint of improving the adhesion, it is preferable to each other N E are adjacent.
In either aspect, each film can be placed in any direction. The orientation direction in the sheet surface can be adjusted by placing the film. As described above, the number of films to be laminated is appropriately adjusted.
(2)
In this step (5 in FIGS. 2 and 3), the heating body is brought into contact with the outermost layer of the
This step is preferably carried out continuously using a heating roll as a heating body. Specifically, the precursor of the multilayer sheet is passed between two heated rolls to fuse the layers. Two rolls may be used as one set, and a heating roll in which two or more sets of rolls are combined may be used as a heating body for fusion. The pressure applied at this time is adjusted as appropriate. The take-up speed in the roll molding is not limited, but is preferably about 0.05 to 10 m / min.
Examples of methods other than roll molding include pressure welding molding and fusion molding. Further, when the film is heat-sealed, it is preferable to pressurize the film in order to suppress heat shrinkage and further promote orientation. The pressure at that time is adjusted according to the fusion temperature.
(3) Other Steps The production method of the present invention may further include known steps such as cooling the sheet obtained in the previous step. The cooling method is not limited, and examples thereof include a method of allowing to cool at room temperature, a method of cold pressing at room temperature or 10 to 20 ° C., and the like.
The multilayer sheet of the present invention has good adhesion between films and has almost no discontinuity between layers. Therefore, it can be handled as an integrated sheet. In the conventional method, it is industrially impractical to obtain a stretched sheet having a thickness of 0.5 mm or more and containing an inorganic filler from the viewpoint of cost and the like. Can be manufactured
Various molded bodies can be obtained by secondary molding (including shaping to a desired shape) the multilayer sheet of the present invention by a method according to the purpose. Examples of the secondary molding method include known press molding, hot plate molding, drawing molding, rolling molding, drawing molding, pressure welding molding, fusion molding, vacuum forming, pressure forming, vacuum pressure forming and the like. Further, a special film may be attached to the outermost surface of the multilayer sheet of the present invention for the purpose of decorativeness, surface modification, and the like. Examples of the film to be attached include an antifogging film, a low temperature seal film, an adhesive film, a printing film, an embossed film, a retort film and the like. The thickness of the outermost film is not particularly limited, but if it becomes too thick, the characteristics of the sheet obtained in the present invention may be impaired, and the special film is generally costly and economically unfavorable. Therefore, it is preferable that it is thin. In the step of heat-sealing and laminating a biaxially stretched polypropylene film, a special film can be laminated on the surface of the film arranged on the outermost layer.
In addition, the multilayer sheet of the present invention may be coated to obtain a coated sheet having a coating film on the sheet. The type of coating film is not limited, and is not usually limited as long as it is used in the painting field. However, in the present invention, the coating film used for vehicle body painting is preferable. Preferred coating films include epoxy-based coating films, urethane-based coating films, polyester-based coating films, and the like. If necessary, a lower layer coating film (primer coating film), a middle layer coating film, and an upper layer coating film (clear coating film) may be provided. When the sheet obtained by the production method of the present invention is used as a sheet for applying a coating (coating sheet), it is preferable that the surface to be coated has a functional group.
(4) Addition of Functional Group The method of imparting a functional group to the surface of the multilayer sheet of the present invention is not limited. For example, by subjecting the multilayer sheet of the present invention to plasma treatment or corona treatment, an oxygen-containing functional group can be imparted to the surface. Alternatively, a polypropylene film having a functional group can be prepared and laminated with the above-mentioned film so that the functional group-containing film becomes the outermost layer in the laminating step to impart a functional group. Here, the latter method will be described.
A polypropylene film having an oxygen-containing functional group can be obtained by molding a known polypropylene such as maleic anhydride-modified polypropylene or epoxy-modified polypropylene into a film. The thickness of the functional group-containing film is not limited, but is preferably less than 150 μm. Further, the functional group-containing film may or may not be biaxially stretched. In the laminating step, a polypropylene film having a functional group and a polypropylene film having no functional group may be laminated at the same time, or a polypropylene film having no functional group is laminated in advance to produce a sheet, and the sheet is produced. A polypropylene film having a functional group may be laminated on the surface of the above. However, a method of laminating at the same time as considering workability is preferable.
