Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an optical scanning device and an image forming device such as a copying machine, a multifunction device, a printer, and a facsimile machine.
The optical scanning device is generally a device that deflects and scans a light beam emitted from a light source (for example, a laser diode element) in a predetermined main scanning direction by a deflection scanning member (for example, a rotating polyplane mirror). In some optical scanning devices, a light source and a substrate on which the light source is mounted are built in the housing of the optical scanning device, and as described in
There are two main problems in the optical scanning device in which the light source and its substrate are built in the housing.
The first is that the temperature inside the housing rises due to the heat generated by the emission of the light source and the heat generated by electronic components such as IC chips mounted on the substrate together with the light source, and this temperature rise causes the optical axis of the light source to shift. There was a problem.
The second problem is that it is difficult to fine-tune the light source built in the housing. That is, the mounting positions of the components of the optical scanning device including the light source are set in consideration of the mutual positional relationship, and fθ having a function of correcting the luminous flux deflected and scanned by these components, for example, the deflection scanning member. The function of a lens varies depending on the season and the production lot. In order to correct the deviation of the luminous flux due to this variation, it is necessary to make fine adjustments to the light source. It has to be removed as a target, and it is unbearable.
Therefore, in order to solve the above problem, it is conceivable to attach a substrate on which the light source and electronic components are mounted to the outside of the housing of the optical scanning apparatus. However, as in
The present invention has been made to solve all the above problems, promotes heat dissipation of the light source and electronic components mounted on the substrate, facilitates adjustment of the light source, and at the same time, the light source and the substrate thereof. According to the present invention, the efficiency of the light source and the electronic component is improved by providing the substrate on which the light source and the electronic component are mounted outside the housing of the optical scanning device.
<Case>
The
Further, the
The
Of course, the configuration of the recessed
The
As described above, since the
The

As described above, by providing the
A
The
An
Further, in the recessed

<Explanation of optical path>
Next, the optical path until the light beam L from the
The light beam L of the

FIG. 12 is a perspective view showing a recessed
In the
Even when the lower part of the recessed
Further, even when the lower part of the recessed
