Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a molded product provided with a fine concavo-convex structure.
A method of manufacturing a molded product having a fine concavo-convex structure by a so-called "nanoimprint process (imprint process)" is known.
The flow of the imprint process is as follows, for example.
(1) First, the resin material to be transferred is heated and softened.
(2) Next, the softened material to be transferred is pressed against a transfer surface having a fine structure provided on the surface of the mold and pressure-molded.
(3) The material to be transferred is cooled as it is (while the pressure is maintained).
(4) After the material to be transferred has cooled, the material to be transferred is released from the mold to obtain a resin molded body to which the fine structure of the transfer surface of the mold is transferred.
As an example of the prior art, Patent Document 1 states that a mold is pressed against a semi-cured dry film in a heated state by an imprint process, and then cooled after pressing to obtain an uneven shape of the mold. A method of forming an inverted and transferred Fresnel lens is disclosed.
As an example of another prior art, Patent Document 2 discloses a method of forming a membrane carrier having a concave microstructure used in a liquid sample inspection kit by an imprint process.
The present inventor is making an improvement study of the nanoimprint process, and in the manufactured transparent molded body having a fine concavo-convex structure, the bright-field image is unclear when an optical evaluation is performed or a sample is analyzed. We have found that an image (for example, an image described by an observer as a "moyamoya image") may appear.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances.
<Overview of molded product>
FIG. 1A is a plan view schematically showing the molded

図2のI.
図2のI.
図2のI.

図2のI.
図2のI.

The pressure in the pressing step is, for example, 0.5 MPa or more. This pressure is preferably 0.8 to 30 MPa, more preferably 1 to 20 MPa. When the pressure in the pressing step is 0.5 MPa or more, the material to be transferred 20 is sufficiently deformed, and a molded product can be appropriately manufactured. Further, it is considered that when the pressure in the pressing step is 50 MPa or less, damage to the
The time of the pressing process is not particularly limited. From the viewpoint of production efficiency and sufficient plastic deformation of the material to be transferred 20, it is, for example, about 0.5 to 10 minutes.

The mold release step is usually performed after the pressing step is performed, the pressing is released, and the material to be transferred 20 is sufficiently cooled. The method for cooling the material to be transferred 20 is not particularly limited. For example, a method of leaving it in the atmosphere, a method of blowing wind, and the like can be mentioned.

The

The material to be transferred 20 has a property of being softened by heating, and can be made of any material, shape, or the like as long as it can form a fine concavo-convex structure when pressed against the
The
The

From another viewpoint, the material to be transferred 20 preferably contains an amorphous resin. Since the amorphous material has a wide molding temperature range, it has good moldability and is effective in improving dimensional stability. Examples of the amorphous resin include methyl poly (meth) acrylate, polycarbonate, polycycloolefin, polystyrene, (meth) acrylonitrile / styrene copolymer, and (meth) acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene copolymer.

The glass transition temperature Tg of the material to be transferred 20 is typically 50 to 300 ° C, preferably 60 to 250 ° C, and more preferably 70 to 200 ° C.
As the glass transition temperature, for example, the temperature at the inflection point at which the storage elastic modulus begins to decrease when the material to be transferred 20 is dynamically measured for viscoelasticity can be adopted. The measurement mode of the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement can be a shear mode, the frequency can be 1 Hz, and the heating rate can be 5 ° C./min.
The

<Manufacturing of molded products>
The molded articles of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were manufactured by the procedure of the nanoimprint process shown below.
(1) II. Of FIG. As shown in, members such as a transfer material, a mold, and a cushioning material were arranged between the press upper plate and the press lower plate (with a built-in heating means).
(2) The mold or the like was heated to 155 ° C. by using the heating means of the press lower plate (the material to be transferred was heated to the glass transition temperature Tg or more by this heating).
(3) While maintaining the above temperature, the material to be transferred was pressed against the transfer surface of the die by the press upper plate and the press lower plate, and pressed at a pressure of 4 MPa for 2 minutes.
(4) After that, the temperature of the mold and the material to be transferred was cooled to 135 ° C. over about 3 minutes while pressing at the same pressure.
(5) Raise the upper plate of the press and apply cold air from above to the one on which the mold and the material to be transferred are integrated on the lower plate of the press, and bring the material to be transferred sufficiently (at least to a temperature of Tg or less). ) Cooled.
(6) The transfer material was released from the mold to obtain a molded product having a fine concavo-convex structure.

<Evaluation of surface roughness>
(Evaluation of fluorescence microscope image)
Fluorescence microscope images taken with a fluorescence microscope of the above specifications were visually evaluated and classified into "conformity" (indicated by "○" in FIG. 6) and "nonconformity" (indicated by "x" in FIG. 6).
In Comparative Examples 1 and 2, an unclear image (for example, an image described by the observer as a "moyamoya image") appeared in the bright-field image in the fluorescence microscope image. As a visual evaluation, it is "nonconforming".
On the other hand, in Examples 1 to 4, there are few unclear images of the bright field image, and the visual evaluation is "conformity". In particular, in the fluorescence microscope images shown in Examples 2 to 4, almost no unclear image appeared. That is, as a molded body having a fine concavo-convex structure, very high quality can be realized. Although a slightly unclear image appeared in Example 1, it was within the range of satisfying the standard as a product.
(Parameter evaluation of surface roughness)
Refer to the surface roughness parameter of FIG.
In the molded articles of Examples 1 to 4, the surface roughness Sa is in the range of 0.005 to 0.045, and the surface roughness RSm is in the range of 80 to 300 or less.
In the molded articles of Examples 2 to 4 in which a particularly unclear image did not appear, the surface roughness Sa was in the range of 0.010 to 0.030, and more specifically, the surface roughness Sa was 0.010 to 0.020. In range. The surface roughness RSm is in the range of 80 to 300. The surface roughness Rp is in the range of 0.05 to 0.20 in all of Examples 1 to 4.
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 2 which became "non-conforming", the surface roughness Sa was 0.049, and the surface roughness Sa was out of the range of 0.005 to 0.045. Further, in Comparative Example 1 which became "nonconforming", the surface roughness Sa was 0.034 and the surface roughness Sa was in the range of 0.005 to 0.045, but the surface roughness RSm was 75 and the surface was surface. The roughness RSm is out of the range of 80 to 300.
