戸当り材19の取付部29は、戸先側門扉縦框7aの戸先側コーナーに重合して取り付けているので、強固に取り付けできる。
図1(b)に示すように、戸当り材19の支持部25には中空25aを形成しているので、支持部25を強固にできる。
戸当り材19の取付部29には、戸当り取付金具21aの取付部33の前側部33aを挿入により係止する係止溝25cが形成されているから、戸当り材19を戸当り取付金具21aに容易に仮止めできるので、施工性が良い。

戸当り取付金具は、中央戸当り取付金具21a、上戸当り取付金具21b及び下戸当り取付金具21cを、間隔をあけて3個設けることに限らず、間隔をあけて2つでも良いし、4つでも良く、戸当り取付金具21a〜21cの数は限定されない。
門1は、両開き・内開きや、片開き・内開きであって良いが、いずれの場合でも戸当り材19は前側(道路側)の戸先側コーナー20aに重合して取り付ける。
