Abstract
Description
The present disclosure relates to an automatic charging system, and more specifically to an automatic charging system that supplies electric power to a vehicle from an automatic charger.
In recent years, as a part of various process automation, an automatic charging system capable of automatically charging a vehicle has been proposed. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2018-117433 (Patent Document 1) discloses a configuration example of an automatic charging system. In the automatic charging system shown in Patent Document 1, the automatic charger is connected to a power supply unit that contacts and supplies power to the power receiving unit of the vehicle and a connection mechanism (arm unit) that can move the position of the power supply unit by expanding and contracting. It is provided with a control means for controlling and driving the mechanism. The control means adjusts the connection mechanism before the large current charging based on the contact state between the power feeding unit and the power receiving unit to correct the contact deviation between the power feeding unit and the power receiving unit.
Vibration may be applied to the vehicle while the charging connector extending from the automatic charger is inserted into the inlet on the vehicle side and power is being supplied. In this case, stress may be applied to the connection point between the charging connector and the inlet. Then, if the charging connector and the inlet are not firmly connected, the charging connector may come out of the inlet, while if the charging connector and the inlet are excessively connected, the charging connector or the inlet will be damaged. there's a possibility that. Therefore, it is required to secure the connection between the charging connector and the inlet as long as the charging connector and the inlet are not damaged, and take appropriate measures when the charging connector comes out of the inlet.
The present disclosure has been made to solve such a problem, and an object of the present disclosure is to charge a vehicle in an automatic charging system capable of automatically charging a vehicle from an automatic charger within a range in which the charging connector and the inlet are not damaged. While ensuring the connection between the connector and the inlet, take appropriate measures when the charging connector comes out of the inlet.
An automatic charging system according to a certain aspect of the present disclosure supplies electric power for charging a power storage device from an automatic charger to a vehicle equipped with the power storage device. The vehicle includes an inlet. The automatic charger includes a charging connector that outputs the power supplied to the vehicle and a power connection device configured to insert the charging connector into the inlet by adjusting the position of the charging connector. The automatic charging system includes a vibration absorbing member that absorbs the vibration of at least one of the inlet and the charging connector when the charging connector is inserted into the inlet, and a control device that controls the power supply operation from the automatic charger to the vehicle. To be equipped. The connection portion between the charging connector and the inlet has a power terminal for transmitting the power supplied to the vehicle and a signal terminal for transmitting a connection detection signal for detecting the connection between the charging connector and the inlet. Regarding the insertion direction of the charging connector into the inlet, the length of the signal terminal is shorter than the length of the power terminal. The control device stops the power supply from the automatic charger to the vehicle when the transmission of the connection detection signal is interrupted.
According to the above configuration, damage to the charging connector and the inlet can be prevented by absorbing the vibration by the vibration absorbing member. Further, at the connection portion between the charging connector and the inlet, the length of the signal terminal is shorter than the length of the power terminal. Therefore, even if the vibration absorbing member cannot completely absorb the vibration and the charging connector is disconnected from the inlet, the signal terminal is electrically cut off from the inlet before the power terminal is electrically cut off from the inlet. It is blocked. Therefore, by detecting the interruption of the connection detection signal at the connection terminal and immediately stopping the power supply from the automatic charger to the vehicle, it is possible to prevent the power terminal from being exposed while the power is on.
According to the present disclosure, in an automatic charging system capable of automatically charging a vehicle from an automatic charger, the charging connector is disconnected from the inlet while ensuring the connection between the charging connector and the inlet as long as the charging connector and the inlet are not damaged. In that case, appropriate measures can be taken.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the structure of the charging
With reference to FIG. 5, the charging
The

信号端子43,44は、CAN(Controller Area Network)等の通信規格に従う信号を伝送する端子である。
In this example, the

<Countermeasures for removing the charging connector>
As described above, in the present embodiment, measures are taken to increase the resistance to vibration of the vehicle 1 by installing the
FIG. 6 is a conceptual diagram for explaining the connection between the charging
With reference to FIG. 6, with respect to the central axis O (x direction in the drawing) of the charging
When the

<Automatic charging flow>
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing automatic charging control according to the present embodiment. The series of processes shown in this flowchart is, for example, the main routine (not shown) when the
With reference to FIG. 8, in S1, the
When the charging
In S3, the
After that, the
When the charge completion condition is satisfied (YES in S5), the
On the other hand, when the connection detection signal is interrupted in S3 (YES in S3), the
When the processing of S6 or S7 is completed, the
As described above, in the present embodiment, the
Although it has been described in FIG. 8 that the

FIG. 10 is another diagram schematically showing the overall configuration of the automatic charging system according to the modified example. With reference to FIG. 10, in the
As described above, the position of the
