Claims (14)
- 電気モーターであって、
第一のサブシステムおよび第二のサブシステムであって、前記第一および第二のサブシステムの一方が磁気回転子アセンブリを備え、前記第一および第二のサブシステムの他方がコイル固定子アセンブリを備える、第一のサブシステムおよび第二のサブシステムと、
前記磁気回転子アセンブリおよび前記コイル固定子アセンブリを支持し、回転軸を画定するハブアセンブリと、
前記ハブアセンブリ上に前記第一および第二のサブシステムのうちの少なくとも一つを支持する軸受アセンブリと、を備え、
前記磁気回転子アセンブリが、トルク発生磁石のアレイを備え、
前記コイル固定子アセンブリが、前記磁気固定子アセンブリのトルク発生磁石の前記アレイに対向する駆動コイルのアレイを備え、
前記第一のサブシステムが、軸方向に配向された磁場を発生させるためのリフト発生要素のアレイを備え、
前記第二のサブシステムは、前記第一のサブシステムの前記揚力発生要素のアレイと整列し、かつ対向する導電性領域を備え、前記揚力発生要素のアレイおよび前記導電性領域は互いに分離距離だけ軸方向に分離され、
前記軸受アセンブリが、磁気回転子アセンブリが前記ハブアセンブリの前記回転軸の周りを回転できるようにし、ならびに前記揚力発生要素のアレイと前記導電性領域との互いに対する相対的な動きによって発生する揚力に応答して、前記磁気回転子アセンブリおよび前記コイル固定子アセンブリの分離距離を変えることができるようにする、電気モーター。 - 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記第一のサブシステムを支持する、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記第二のサブシステムを支持する、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記第一のサブシステムおよび前記第二のサブシステムの両方を支持する、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記第一のサブシステムが、前記磁気回転子アセンブリを備え、前記第二のサブシステムが、前記コイル固定子アセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記第一のサブシステムが、前記コイル固定子アセンブリを備え、前記第二のサブシステムが、前記磁気回転子アセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 揚力発生要素の前記アレイが永久磁石のアレイである、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 揚力発生要素の前記アレイが電気コイルのアレイである、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記磁気回転子アセンブリを支持する回転軸受アセンブリを含む、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記コイル固定子アセンブリを支持するリニア軸受アセンブリを含む、請求項9に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記軸受アセンブリが、前記ハブアセンブリ上で前記磁気回転子アセンブリを支持し、前記磁気回転子アセンブリが前記回転軸の周りを回転し、前記回転軸に沿って長手方向に前後に移動できるようにする、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記第二のサブシステムが、前記導電性領域を形成する環状の導電性プレートを備える、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
- 前記磁気回転子アセンブリおよび前記コイル固定子アセンブリが、ラジアル磁束モーターを形成する、請求項1に記載の電気モーター。
