Claims (15)
- 一連のノズルであって、その各ノズルが、
射出チャンバと、
開口部と、
前記射出チャンバ内に配設された流体アクチュエータと
を含む、一連のノズルと、
基板内に形成された一連の通路であって、前記射出チャンバから及び該射出チャンバへと流体を配送する、一連の通路と、
前記基板の背面に形成された一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルであって、該一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルの各内蔵されたクロスチャネルが、前記一連の通路のそれぞれの複数の通路に流体的に接続されている、一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルと
を備えている、流体射出ダイ。 - 前記通路が、前記基板の孔が形成された層内に形成される、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 1つの前記内蔵されたクロスチャネルが、前記一連の通路の複数の異なるサブアレイの複数の行に流体を配送する、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 前記一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルが複数のサブアレイへとグループ化され、該一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルの各サブアレイが、前記一連の通路の1つのサブアレイの複数の行へ流体を配送する、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 前記一連の通路の前記複数の異なるサブアレイが複数の異なる色の流体に対応する、請求項4に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 各ノズルが、対応する射出チャンバとの間で流体を案内するチャネルを更に含み、
前記ノズルに対応する前記チャネル及び前記通路が微小再循環ループを形成する、
請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。 - 1行の前記通路が、同一の前記内蔵されたクロスチャネルに対応する、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 1行の前記通路が、複数の前記内蔵されたクロスチャネルに対応する、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- 前記内蔵されたクロスチャネルを通る流体の流れが、前記通路内の流体の流れに対して垂直である、請求項1に記載の流体射出ダイ。
- ハウジングと、
基体上に堆積される流体を収容するための前記ハウジング内に配設されたリザーバと、
前記ハウジング上に配設された一連の流体射出ダイと
を備えたプリンティング流体カートリッジであって、
前記一連の流体射出ダイの各流体射出ダイが、
一連のノズルであって、その各ノズルが、
射出チャンバと、
開口部と、
前記射出チャンバ内に配設された流体アクチュエータと
を含む、一連のノズルと、
前記射出チャンバから及び該射出チャンバへと流体を配送するための一連の通路と、
基板の背面に形成された一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルであって、該一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルの各内蔵されたクロスチャネルが、前記一連の通路のそれぞれの複数の通路に流体的に接続されている、一連の内蔵されたクロスチャネルと
を含む、プリンティング流体カートリッジ。 - 各ノズルが更に、
対応する射出チャンバとの間で流体を案内するチャネルと、
該チャネルを介して流体を移動させる二次流体アクチュエータと
を含み、
1つの前記ノズルに対応する前記チャネル及び前記通路が、該ノズルの微小再循環ループを形成する、請求項10に記載のプリンティング流体カートリッジ。 - 前記プリンティング流体カートリッジが、基体幅プリントバーであり、
前記一連の流体射出ダイが、複数のプリントヘッドへとグループ化され、該複数のプリントヘッドが、流体が堆積される基体の幅にわたって互い違いに配置されている、
請求項10に記載のプリンティング流体カートリッジ。 - 流体が射出される一連のノズル及びそれに対応する通路を形成し、
該通路との間で流体を配送する複数の内蔵されたクロスチャネルを形成し、及び、
前記一連のノズル及びそれに対応する前記通路を前記複数の内蔵されたクロスチャネルに結合する
ことを含む、流体射出ダイの作成方法。 - 前記基板上に前記複数の内蔵されたクロスチャネルを形成することが、通路が形成される基板の背面の層をエッチングすることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記一連のノズル及びそれに対応する通路を形成することが、前記通路を含む膜を前記ノズルを画定する層に接着することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
