Abstract
Description
本出願は、2017年3月31日に出願された米国仮出願第62/480,051号に対する優先権を主張する。

Claims (47)
- 固体状電解質を形成するための方法であって、
(a)第1電子伝導率を有する前駆層を含む固体状電解質材料を提供する工程と、
(b)前記固体状電解質材料上の前記前駆層を、前記第1電子伝導率よりも大きい第2電子伝導率を有する界面層に還元する工程と、を含む、方法。 - 前記前駆層は1以上の金属酸化物を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記前駆層は、酸化亜鉛、アルミニウムドープ酸化亜鉛、ガリウムドープ酸化亜鉛、インジウムドープ酸化亜鉛、フッ素ドープ酸化スズ、インジウムスズ酸化物、インジウムドープカドミウム酸化物、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、非晶質炭素、バナジウム酸化物、炭化ケイ素、窒化チタン、炭化タンタル、ランタンドープチタン酸ストロンチウム、ランタンドープチタン酸バリウム及びこれらからなる混合物からなるグループから選択される金属酸化物を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記(b)の工程は、前記前駆層を、還元雰囲気で加熱することによって還元させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記(b)の工程は、前記前駆層を酸化又は不活性ガスに暴露させ、その後温度を変更せずに還元ガスに切り替えることで、前記前駆層を還元させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記(b)の工程は、薬剤を用いて前記前駆層を還元させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記(b)の工程は、前記前駆層を電気化学的に活性な金属に接触させることによって前記前駆層を電子伝導性の前記界面層に還元させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電気化学的に活性な金属は、リチウム、マグネシウム、ナトリウム又は亜鉛を備える、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記電気化学的に活性な金属はリチウムを備える、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記固体状電解質材料は、LiwAxM2Re3-yOzの化学式を有するセラミック材料を備え、
式中、
wは、5〜7.5であり、
Aは、B、Al、Ga、In、Zn、Cd、Y、Sc、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba及びこれらのあらゆる組み合わせから選択され、
xは、0〜2であり、
Mは、Zr、Hf、Nb、Ta、Mo、W、Sn、Ge、Si、Sb、Se、Te及びこれらのあらゆる組み合わせから選択され、
Reは、ランタニド元素、アクチニド元素及びこれらのあらゆる組み合わせから選択され、
yは、0.01〜0.75であり、
zは、10.875〜13.125であり、
前記材料は、ガーネット型又はガーネット状の結晶構造を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記前駆層は、ガーネット、ペロブスカイト、NaSICON又はLiSICON相を有するあらゆる組み合わせの酸化物又はリン酸塩材料を含む第2固体電解質材料を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ガーネット相はスズをベースとしたものである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記NASICONはチタンをベースとしたものである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第2電子伝導率は1×10-7S/cmよりも大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電気化学的に活性な金属を含むアノードを有する電気化学デバイス用の固体状電解質を形成するための方法であって、
(a)固体状電解質材料を提供する工程と、
(b)前記固体状電解質材料の表面に、第1金属を含む界面層を堆積させることと、を含み、
前記電気化学的に活性な金属は、サイクリング中又は前記電気化学デバイスの作成中に前記第1金属と合金を形成しない、方法。 - 前記電気化学的に活性な金属は、リチウム、マグネシウム、ナトリウム又は亜鉛を備える、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記電気化学的に活性な金属はリチウムを備える、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1金属は、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対するブロッキング金属、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対する半ブロッキング金属、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対する非ブロッキング金属、又はこれらからなる混合物を備える、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ブロッキング金属は、ニッケル、モリブデン、チタン又はこれらからなる混合物を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記半ブロッキング金属は、銀、金、プラチナ、銅、クロム、鉄、コバルト、鋼、ステンレス鋼又はこれらからなる混合物を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記非ブロッキング金属は、アルミニウム、鉛、亜鉛、インジウム、ガリウム、マグネシウム、シリコン、ビスマス及びこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記固体状電解質材料は、第1電子伝導率を有し、
前記界面層は、前記第1電子伝導率よりも大きい第2電子伝導率を有する、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記固体状電解質材料は、LiwAxM2Re3-yOzの化学式を有するセラミック材料を備え、
式中、
wは、5〜7.5であり、
Aは、B、Al、Ga、In、Zn、Cd、Y、Sc、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba及びこれらのあらゆる組み合わせから選択され、
xは、0〜2であり、

- 固体状電解質を形成するための方法であって、
(a)第1電子伝導率を有する固体状電解質材料を提供する工程と、
(b)前記固体状電解質材料を、前記第1電子伝導率よりも大きい第2電子伝導率を有する高分子層でコーティングすることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記高分子層は1以上の高分子材料を備える、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記高分子層は、ポリアセチレン、ポリピロール、ポリアニリン、ポリ(パラフェニレンビニレン)(PPV)、ポリ(3−アルキルチオフェン)、ポリ(3,4−エチレンジオキシチオフェン)(PEDOT)、ポリ(パラフェニレンスルフィド)及びこれらからなる混合物からなるグループから選択される高分子を備える、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記固体状電解質材料は、LiwAxM2Re3-yOzの化学式を有するセラミック材料を備え、
式中、
wは、5〜7.5であり、
Aは、B、Al、Ga、In、Zn、Cd、Y、Sc、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba及びこれらのあらゆる組み合わせから選択され、

前記界面層は第1金属を含み、
前記電気化学的に活性な金属は、サイクリング中又は前記電気化学デバイスの作成中に前記第1金属と合金を形成しない、電気化学デバイス。 - 前記電気化学的に活性な金属は、リチウム、マグネシウム、ナトリウム又は亜鉛を備える、請求項30に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記電気化学的に活性な金属はリチウムを備える、請求項30に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記アノードは本質的にリチウム金属からなる、請求項30に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記第1金属は、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対するブロッキング金属、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対する半ブロッキング金属、前記電気化学的に活性な金属に対する非ブロッキング金属、又はこれらからなる混合物を備える、請求項30に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記ブロッキング金属は、ニッケル、モリブデン、チタン又はこれらからなる混合物を含む、請求項34に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記半ブロッキング金属は、銀、金、プラチナ、銅、クロム、鉄、コバルト、鋼、ステンレス鋼又はこれらからなる混合物を含む、請求項34に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記非ブロッキング金属は、アルミニウム、鉛、亜鉛、インジウム、ガリウム、マグネシウム、シリコン、ビスマス及びこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項34に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記固体状電解質材料は、第1電子伝導率を有し、

- 前記電気化学的に活性な金属はリチウムを備える、請求項41に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記アノードは本質的にリチウム金属からなる、請求項41に記載の電気化学デバイス。
- 前記高分子コーティング層は、ポリアセチレン、ポリピロール、ポリアニリン、ポリ(パラフェニレンビニレン)(PPV)、ポリ(3−アルキルチオフェン)、ポリ(3,4−エチレンジオキシチオフェン)(PEDOT)、ポリ(パラフェニレンスルフィド)及びこれらからなる混合物からなるグループから選択される高分子を備える、請求項41に記載の電気化学デバイス。
