Abstract
Description
流体吐出デバイスは、インクジェットプリンタを含む印刷システムにおけるプリントヘッドのような、様々な用途において実施され得る。幾つかの流体吐出デバイスは、流体を再循環することができる。
インクジェットプリンタ又は3Dプリンタを含む印刷システムは、プリントヘッドのような流体吐出デバイス、流体吐出デバイスに印刷流体を供給する印刷流体供給部、及び流体吐出デバイスを制御するコントローラを含むことができる。流体吐出デバイス、例えばプリントヘッドは、流体滴のドロップオンデマンドの吐出を行うことができる。幾つかの例において、流体吐出デバイスは、印刷流体滴のオンデマンドの吐出を容易にするために印刷システムに実装され得る。
Claims (14)
- プリントヘッドにおいて流体を再循環する方法であって、
液滴が吐出されるべきプリントヘッドのノズルを指定する吐出データを生成し、前記吐出データを第1のメモリに格納し、
再循環動作が実行されるべきノズルに対する再循環データを生成し、
前記第1のメモリと異なる第2のメモリに、前記再循環データを格納し、
前記吐出データに基づいて前記ノズルから液滴を吐出することに先だって前記再循環データに基づいて前記ノズル内の流体を再循環することを含み、
前記再循環データが、ノズルの個々の吐出データに基づいて生成される、方法。 - 再循環データは、前記ノズルが印刷動作中に液滴を吐出することになっているか否かを示すために生成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ノズルに対して、ノズルスコアが求められる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ノズルスコアは、前記ノズルの最後の液滴からの空白の列の数を累積する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 流体再循環は、前記再循環データに基づいて及び前記ノズルスコアが再循環閾値を超える場合に、前記ノズルに対して実行される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 流体再循環は、前記ノズルのポンプに多数の再循環パルスを印加することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記印刷データは、前記ノズルが液滴を吐出するか否かおよび前記ノズルがいつ液滴を吐出するかを判断するために処理される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 再循環周波数パターンが決定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体再循環は、再循環周波数パターン及び対応する再循環長さに従って多数の再循環パルスを生成することにより、前記ノズルに対して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントヘッドは、複数のノズルを含み、前記方法は、前記複数のノズルのそれぞれに対して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 印刷システムであって、
プリントヘッドを含むプリントヘッドアセンブリと、
前記プリントヘッドアセンブリと流体連絡する印刷流体供給アセンブリと、
コントローラとを含み、前記コントローラは、
液滴が吐出されるべき前記プリントヘッドのノズルを指定する吐出データを生成し、前記吐出データを第1のメモリに格納し、
再循環動作が実行されるべき前記ノズルに対する再循環データを生成し、
前記第1のメモリと異なる第2のメモリに、前記再循環データを格納し、
前記ノズルから液滴を吐出することに先だって前記再循環データを用いて前記ノズル内の流体を再循環し、
前記再循環データが、前記ノズルの個々の吐出データに基づいて生成される、印刷システム。 - 前記コントローラは、印刷データを受け取り、前記印刷データに基づいて前記吐出データ及び前記再循環データを生成する、請求項11に記載の印刷システム。
- 前記コントローラは更に、前記第2のメモリに格納された前記再循環データを圧縮することになっており、前記再循環データは、ノズルのグループに対する噴射信号を表すデータビットのグループを含み、前記圧縮することは、前記データビットのグループを、前記ノズルのグループがアクティブであるか又はイナクティブであるかを示すデータビットに置き換えることを含む、請求項11に記載の印刷システム。
- プロセッサにより実行された際に、請求項1に記載された方法を前記プロセッサに実行させる命令で符号化された持続性コンピュータ可読媒体。
