Abstract
Description

重複構成において、積層シート、いずれか随意的な付加的電極層、および逆極性の電極層の間に介在する適切な中間電解質層を組み立てるステップと、
セル外部を形成するために、セル周囲の周りに第一および第二積層シートをともに封止するステップと、を含む。

セル化学物質
リチウムイオン電池技術は、現在市場で入手可能ないずれの充電式電池システムの最大エネルギー密度も提供するので、この用途向けに選択された。化学物質は、アノードおよびカソードが多孔質セパレータによって分離されるような構造を必要とし、これはセルが電流を発生することができるように、アノードとカソードとの間の電荷の輸送を可能にするために、液体電解質に浸されている。
電流コレクタ層として機能し、活性電極層としても機能する、同延最内導電層を有する1つの積層シートを備える可能なセル81の例は、ここで例示によって記載される。
Claims (16)
- 中間電解質層によって互いに分離された少なくとも1対の上下に重なる電極層を含む薄型電気化学セルを含む装置であって、セル外部は互いに封止された第一および第二積層シートによって画定されており、各積層シートは、セルのそれぞれの外面を形成する最外層と、電流コレクタ層として機能し、電極層を支持するかまたは活性電極層としても機能する、同延最内導電層と、を有する装置。
- 各積層シートが、セルのそれぞれの外面を形成する最外層と、電流コレクタ層として機能し、電極層を支持する、同延最内導電層とを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 第一および第二積層シートが、セル内に設けられた少なくとも1つの枠によってセル周囲の周りでともに封止される、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 枠が、熱可塑性物質ステンシルで形成されるか、または接着剤枠である、請求項3に記載の装置。
- セルが、一方が第一積層シートの最内導電層上に設けられ、他方が第二積層シートの最内導電層上に設けられた、単一のアノード層および単一のカソード層のみを含む、請求項2から4のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの付加的な、内向きに設けられた電極層の対が設けられている、請求項2から4のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 第一および/または第二積層シートが、最外ポリマ層および最内導電層のみからなる、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 第一および/または第二積層シートが、外部電気接続を提供するために一体形成された延伸タブを有する、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 第一および/または第二積層シートが、接合箔積層または真空被覆積層である、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の装置。
- セルは非水系の、リチウムまたはリチウムイオンベースの電池またはスーパーキャパシタである、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の装置。
- それぞれのセルを画定する格子線の相互接続格子を形成するそれぞれの枠を備えて、共通の第一および第二積層シートを共有する接続セルのアレイとして、セルが形成される、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の複数のセルを含む装置。
- 装置が格子線に沿って屈曲可能である、請求項11に記載の装置。
- セルに外部保護表面および内部集電表面の両方を提供するための、薄型電気化学セルにおける積層シートの使用であって、積層シートが、セルの外面を形成する最外層と、電流コレクタ層として機能する同延最内導電層とを有する、使用。
- 中間電解質層によって互いに分離された少なくとも1対の上下に重なる電極層を含む薄型電気化学セルを含む装置を製造する方法であって、方法は、
第一および第二積層シートを提供するステップであって、各シートはセルのそれぞれの外面を形成するように意図された最外層と、電流コレクタ層として機能し、電極層を支持するかまたは活性電極層としても機能するように意図された、同延最内導電層とを有する、ステップと、
必要とされる場合には、それぞれの導電層のそれぞれの部分に対して、電極層を付着するステップであって、これらの部分は活性セル領域となる、ステップと、
第一および第二積層シートと、逆極性の電極層の間に介在される適切な中間電解質層とを、上下に重なり合う構成で組み立てるステップと、
セル外部を形成するために、セル周囲の周りで第一および第二積層シートをともに封止するステップと、を含む方法。 - 各シートが、セルのそれぞれの外面を形成するように意図された最外層と、電流コレクタ層として機能し、電極層を支持するように意図された、同延最内導電層とを有し、方法は、
