As a result of repeated research on the above problems, the inventors use the propagation characteristics and the scattering cross section of a reflected signal transmitted from a transmission antenna including antenna elements placed at different positions and reflected by a living body.
(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the sensor according to the first embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The transmitting
Specifically, each of the N
The receiving
揮発性の記憶領域は、例えば、RAM(Randdom Access Memory)である。
The
メモリ41は、不揮発性の記憶領域(補助記憶装置)であり、例えば、ROM(Read Only Memory)、フラッシュメモリ、HDD(Hard Disk Drive)などである。
The
Next, the functional configuration of the
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a functional configuration of the circuit and the memory according to the first embodiment.
The
The complex transfer
The biological

The
For example, supine is associated with the first RCS range, crossed seat is associated with the second RCS range, chair is associated with the third RCS range, and upright is associated with the fourth RCS range. It is attached. The first RCS range to the fourth RCS range are ranges of different RCS values.

Needless to say, for example, when the vital component and the body motion component of the living body are further separated and measured, the frequency range of Expression 12 may be adjusted and the subsequent processing may be performed.

(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the sensor according to the second embodiment. FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing a functional configuration of a circuit and a memory according to the second embodiment.
The
The transmitting
The receiving
Here, the angle between the first reference direction that is a direction on the horizontal plane that is arbitrarily set with respect to the transmitting
Further, the

FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an outline of an experiment conducted for confirming the effect of the sensor of the second embodiment.

There was one subject, and the measurement was performed in four states: upright, chair sitting (state sitting on a chair), cross-legged sitting (Agura), and supine (back to back). The position of the subject is (X, Y) = (5.0,1.0) m. In postures other than supine, the subject faces the antenna direction (Y direction). In the supine position, the subject turns his or her feet in the antenna direction (Y direction). Observation was performed for about 5 seconds per experiment.
FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an experimental result using the experimental system shown in FIG. In FIG. 9, the horizontal axis represents the estimated height zb, and the vertical axis represents the calculated scattering cross section (RCS: Radar Cross Section).
As shown in FIG. 9, it can be seen that the areas in which the height and the RCS value are distributed differ depending on the posture. That is, it can be confirmed that the posture of the subject can be estimated from the estimated height and the calculated RCS value. For example, as shown in FIG. 10, by setting the

A reflection signal in which a part of transmission signals of N transmission signals transmitted using N (N is a natural number of 2 or more) transmission antenna elements in a predetermined range in which a living body can be reflected by the living body And acquiring N received signals received using each of the M (M is a natural number of 2 or more) receiving antenna elements.
Propagation characteristics between each of the N transmission antenna elements and each of the M reception antenna elements from each of the N reception signals received in each of the M reception antenna elements in a predetermined period. The first matrix of N × M having each complex transfer function indicating
By extracting a second matrix corresponding to a predetermined frequency range in the first matrix, the second matrix corresponding to components affected by vital activity including at least one of respiration, heartbeat, and body movement of the living body. Extract
Using the second matrix to estimate the positions of the living body with respect to the N transmitting antenna elements and the M receiving antenna elements;
Based on the estimated position, the position of the transmitting antenna having the N transmitting antenna elements, and the position of the receiving antenna having the M receiving antenna elements, the distance between the living body and the transmitting antenna is calculated. Calculating a first distance, and a second distance indicating the distance between the living body and the receiving antenna,
An RCS (Radar cross-section) value for the living body is calculated using the first distance and the second distance,
A process of estimating the posture of the living body is executed by using the calculated RCS value and information indicating a correspondence relationship between the RCS value and the posture of the living body, which is stored in a memory included in the computer.
