Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet that exhibits high waterproofness, moisture permeability, and durability, and a method for manufacturing the same.
Deterioration of the timber, which is the frame of a wooden house, by the condensation of raindrops that have entered the interior of the wooden house and water vapor generated during breathing, heating, bathing, and cooking inside the outer walls, the attic, and the underfloor. It has been known. In order to prevent this, a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet having waterproofness and moisture permeability is used as a base of a roof or an outer wall. The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet has a waterproof property to prevent raindrops from entering the interior of the wooden house, and has a moisture-permeable property to allow vapor to pass therethrough and release it outside the wooden house. .. As described above, the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet used for the purpose of preventing decay of a wooden house is also called a house wrap material.
As a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet, a house wrap having a multilayer structure in which a metal vapor deposition layer and a protective layer are laminated on one surface of a porous or non-porous moisture-permeable waterproof film, and a fabric is laminated on the other surface thereof. The material is disclosed in
In this regard, Patent Document 2 discloses a reactive hot melt adhesive containing a blocked urethane prepolymer as a main component as an adhesive exhibiting moisture permeability. According to this reactive hot melt adhesive, since the urethane resin, which is a cured product of the blocked urethane prepolymer, has moisture permeability, it is possible to bond a cloth or the like while holding it. However, in order to dissociate the blocking agent bonded to the isocyanate group in the blocked urethane prepolymer, a heating step at a high temperature for a long time is required, and the dissociated blocking agent remains in the urethane resin or vaporizes it. As a result, bubbles are generated in the adhesive layer, which reduces its strength and waterproofness. Further, if the blocking agent is not completely dissociated, there is a risk that the adhesive strength of the blocking agent will be exhibited and the strength of the cured product will be insufficient.
On the other hand, a moisture-permeable waterproof non-woven fabric having an upper layer made of thermoplastic synthetic fiber having a surface layer in which a plurality of single fibers are crushed against each other into a film and a lower layer being a laminated non-woven sheet. A sheet is disclosed in US Pat. This moisture-permeable waterproof non-woven sheet is formed by crushing short fibers on the upper layer surface by thermocompression bonding performed by passing between heat rolls to form a surface layer, and then superimposing the upper layer and the lower layer on top of each other and heating again. It is manufactured by crimping. According to this moisture-permeable waterproof non-woven sheet, an expensive moisture-permeable waterproof film which easily causes wrinkles is not required, and therefore, it can be manufactured with a high yield using inexpensive raw materials.
However, in the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of Patent Document 3, since the upper layer and the lower layer, which are non-woven sheets, are joined only by thermocompression bonding, the adhesive strength between the two is poor and peeling easily occurs between them. Therefore, for example, it is difficult to give strength that exceeds the water pressure of 10 kPa or more in the water pressure resistance specified in JIS A6111 (2016). Moreover, since the thermocompression bonding step of forming the surface layer and stacking the upper and lower layers is required at least twice, the manufacturing process is complicated and the manufacturing cost is increased.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and provides a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet which has high waterproofness and moisture permeability, high strength and excellent durability, which can be rapidly and inexpensively produced, and a method for producing the same. The purpose is to do.
The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of the present invention made to achieve the above object is a sheet or film formed of a hot-melt adhesive containing a moisture-permeable resin, and a moisture-permeable adhesive layer that is impermeable to water droplets, and the moisture-permeable sheet. A non-woven sheet adhered to both sides of the adhesive layer, and the moisture-permeable resin contains a cured product of a reactive urethane prepolymer having an unblocked isocyanate group.
In the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet, the non-woven sheet is preferably a single layer sheet or a laminated sheet of a melt blown non-woven sheet and / or a spunbond non-woven sheet.
Examples of the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet include those in which the nonwoven sheet is a laminated sheet of a meltblown nonwoven sheet and a spunbond nonwoven sheet.
In the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet, a ventilation layer, which is a crosslinked structure having continuous voids, may be laminated on the outer surface of the non-woven sheet.
Examples of the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet include those having a weight per unit area of the moisture-permeable adhesive layer of 20 to 50 g / m 2 .
In the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet, the hot melt adhesive may not contain a catalyst that cures the reactive urethane prepolymer.
The method for producing a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet according to the present invention comprises a heating step of heating a hot-melt adhesive containing a moisture-permeable resin having an unblocked isocyanate group and containing a reactive urethane prepolymer which is cured by moisture. A film forming step of applying the hot melt adhesive to a first nonwoven sheet to form a moisture-permeable adhesive uncured film, and a laminating step of laminating a second nonwoven sheet on the moisture-permeable adhesive uncured film. A pressure-bonding step of applying pressure to a laminate composed of the first non-woven sheet, the moisture-permeable adhesive uncured film, and the second non-woven sheet to press-bond them, and the heating step, The hot melt adhesive is cured by the water through the film forming step, the laminating step, and the pressure bonding step to form a moisture permeable adhesive layer forming a sheet or a film.
Examples of the method of manufacturing the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet include a method of heating the hot melt adhesive to 120 ° C. at the maximum in the heating step.
The method of manufacturing a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet may be one in which the hot melt adhesive is applied by a die coating method or a roll coating method in the film forming step.
The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of the present invention has a moisture-permeable adhesive layer that bonds non-woven sheets to each other, and uses a reactive urethane prepolymer having an unblocked isocyanate group as a moisture-permeable resin. Since it is formed into a sheet or film, it exhibits high moisture permeability and high strength as compared with those obtained by simply thermocompressing non-woven sheets.
The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet has a moisture-permeable adhesive layer having a high moisture-permeable property and an adhesive force, instead of the conventional combination of the moisture-permeable waterproof film material and the adhesive. The non-woven sheet on both sides has a simple structure of only three members, and since the moisture-permeable resin contains a reactive urethane prepolymer having an unblocked isocyanate group, it is a blocking agent during its production. Since it does not require high temperature and long time heating for dissociating, it can be manufactured rapidly and at low cost.
In the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet, in addition to the moisture-permeable adhesive layer being a cured product of a reactive urethane prepolymer having elasticity, the nonwoven sheet is a laminated sheet of a melt-blown nonwoven sheet and a spunbond nonwoven sheet. When the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet is fixed to the building material with fasteners such as nails and spelling needles, the meltblown fibers in the laminated sheet are surely entangled with the fasteners, so that high water resistance for nail holes can be obtained.
If the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet has a ventilation layer that is a cross-linked structure having voids that communicate with each other, for example, between the pier and the base plate in a wooden house, it will not flow there through air or water vapor and remain there. It is possible to effectively prevent the decay of piers and ground boards.
According to the method of manufacturing a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of the present invention, the pressure bonding step is sufficient only once, and since an expensive moisture-permeable waterproof film material that does not easily generate wrinkles in the manufacturing process is used, the raw material cost and the manufacturing cost are also high. In addition to being reduced, it is possible to rapidly manufacture.
Hereinafter, modes for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail, but the scope of the present invention is not limited to these modes.
A schematic cross-sectional view of one embodiment of the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of the present invention is shown in FIG. In the moisture-permeable
Since the
The moisture-
The moisture permeable
The moisture-permeable resin contained in the hot-melt adhesive forming the moisture-
The content of the reactive urethane prepolymer in the moisture permeable resin is preferably 50 to 100% by mass, more preferably 60 to 100% by mass, and even more preferably 75 to 100% by mass. Since urethane resin exhibits higher elasticity than polyolefin resin or polyester resin, even if a nail or a spelling needle for fixing the moisture-permeable
The reactive urethane prepolymer has unreacted isocyanate groups that are not bound to the polyol. Moreover, this unreacted isocyanate group is an unblocked isocyanate group that is not bonded to the blocking agent. In the reactive urethane prepolymer, the prepolymer having an unreacted unblocked isocyanate group is preferably 0.3 to 2.0% by mass, more preferably 0.5 to 1.7% by mass. , 0.7 to 1.2% by mass is even more preferable. If the prepolymer having an unreacted isocyanate group is less than this lower limit value, the effect of improving the adhesive strength of the hot melt adhesive cannot be obtained, while if it exceeds this upper limit value, the reaction with moisture in the air As a result, carbon dioxide gas is excessively and rapidly generated, the hot melt adhesive is violently foamed, and a hole penetrating the moisture permeable
The above-mentioned reactive urethane prepolymer that forms a urethane resin means that the isocyanate group (R 1 NCO; R 1 is an organic group) that it has is a hydroxy group such as methanol, phenol, methyl ethyl ketone oxime, and ε-caprolactam. A urethane bond-containing compound that does not contain a ureido group (R 1 NHCOR 2 ) formed by combining with a blocking agent having a group (R 2 OH; R 2 is an organic group). When the blocking agent dissociates from the isocyanate group under high temperature conditions, a high temperature of 150 to 180 ° C. is required to completely dissociate the isocyanate group, and this temperature is maintained to completely dissociate the blocking agent. It requires a heating time of at least 30 minutes.
Such a reactive urethane prepolymer having an unblocked isocyanate group has a plurality of isocyanate groups in one molecule. Specifically, for example, 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI), 2,6-tolylene diisocyanate (TDI), 4,4′-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), 4,4′-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate hydrogen Additive (hydrogenated MDI), 5-isocyanate-1-isocyanatomethyl-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane (isophorone diisocyanate; IPDI), and 2,4-dioxo-1,3-diazetidine-1,3- Bis (methyl-m-phenylene) diisocyanate may be mentioned.

These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The polyol may be a polyester polyol other than the above polyhydric alcohol. The polyester polyol is obtained by a condensation reaction between a polyvalent carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol.

The curing reaction of the reactive urethane prepolymer will be described. This reactive urethane prepolymer is a moisture-curable polyurethane that cures upon reaction with water. Specific examples of such a reactive urethane prepolymer include Tyforce WT-004 and HN-505 (manufactured by DIC Corporation, “Tyforce” is a registered trademark of DIC Corporation).
−R3−NCO + H2O → −R3−NHCOOH (1)
First, as shown in the following chemical formula (1), the unreacted isocyanate group in the reactive urethane prepolymer is adsorbed in the air, the non-woven sheet of the
-R 3 -NCO + H 2 O → -R 3 -NHCOOH (1)
(In the chemical formula (1), R 3 represents an arbitrary organic group containing a urethane bond.)
Since carbamic acid has a high activity, it rapidly decomposes as shown in the following chemical formula (2) to generate an amine compound and carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide diffuses into the reactive urethane prepolymer and then is gradually released into the air, and does not remain as bubbles in the urethane resin cured product.
-R 3 -NHCOOH → -R 3 -NH 2 + CO 2 (2)
(In the chemical formula (2), R 3 represents any organic group containing a urethane bond.)
−R3−NH2 + −R4−NCO → −R3−NHCONH−R4− (3)
As shown in the following chemical formula (3), the produced amine compound further reacts with an unreacted isocyanate group contained in another prepolymer to form a urea bond.
-R 3 -NH 2 + -R 4 -NCO → -R 3 -NHCONH-R 4 - (3)
(In the chemical formula (3), R 3 and R 4 represent any organic group containing a urethane bond.)
When the reactions represented by the above chemical formulas (1) to (3) occur, the reactive urethane prepolymer is crosslinked to form a three-dimensional network structure of urethane molecules, which exhibits high strength and moisture permeability. A urethane resin cured product is produced. The urethane resin cured product is heated at a high temperature (for example, 150 ° C. or higher) for dissociating the blocking agent because the reactive urethane prepolymer is the moisture-curable polyurethane containing the unblocked isocyanate group. No steps are required, and no catalyst for lowering the heating temperature is required. Even polypropylene (heat-resistant temperature of about 100 to 140 ° C.) having poor resistance to such a high temperature can be used as the non-woven sheet of the
The moisture-permeable resin can include a catalyst that accelerates the curing reaction of the reactive urethane prepolymer, if necessary. As such a catalyst, a tertiary amine compound is preferable. Specifically, 7-quinolinol, 3-quinuclidinol, 4-quinazolinol, 8-quinolinecarboxylic acid, 8-hydroxyquinaldine acid, 2,4-dihydroxyquinoline, p- (dimethylamino) benzoic acid, 2,2 ′ -(Benzylimino) diacetic acid, 2,4-dimethyl-6-hydroxypyrimidine, 2,2 '-(N-methylimino) diacetic acid, 3,4-dihydro-3-oxoquinoxaline-2-carboxylic acid, and 3 -Acetyl-2-methyl-5H- [1] benzopyrano [2,3-b] pyridin-5-one. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The content of the catalyst in the moisture-permeable resin is preferably 0.02 to 0.6% by mass, more preferably 0.04 to 0.5% by mass, and 0.05 to 0.15% by mass. Is even more preferable.

The hot melt adhesive forming the moisture permeable
The saturated polyester resin has no unsaturated bond in the molecule. Therefore, the saturated polyester resin has higher stability and heat melting property than the unsaturated polyester resin. The amorphous saturated polyester resin has randomly arranged molecular chains. Therefore, the density of the molecular chains is sparser than that of the crystalline saturated polyester resin having the molecular chains arranged regularly and densely, and the arrangement of the molecular chains does not prevent the permeation of water vapor particles. As a result, the amorphous saturated polyester resin is considered to exhibit high moisture permeability. Such an amorphous saturated polyester resin is a chart in which the horizontal axis represents temperature (° C.) and the vertical axis represents differential scanning calorific value (W) when the transition heat measurement is performed in accordance with JIS K7122 (1987), for example. In addition, it is preferable to show an exothermic peak due to base shift and / or crystallization due to glass transition and an endothermic peak due to melting.
The saturated polyester resin is a copolymer of a polyvalent carboxylic acid having no polymerizable unsaturated bond in the main chain and / or side chain and a polyhydric alcohol. As the polyvalent carboxylic acid and the polyhydric alcohol, one kind or plural kinds can be selected from the above-mentioned ones.
Specific examples of the saturated polyester resin include polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate (ester of dimethyl 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate (NDC) and ethylene glycol), polybutylene naphthalate (NDC and 1,3). -Propane diol (PDO) ester), Polycyclohexane dimethyl terephthalate (Ester of terephthalic acid and 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM)), Polycyclohexane dimethyl phthalate (Ester of NDC and CHDM), Polytrimethylene At least one selected from terephthalate (ester of terephthalic acid and PDO) and polytrimethylene naphthalate (ester of NDC and PDO) can be preferably used.
According to the hot melt adhesive containing the saturated polyester resin, the moisture-
The
When the nonwoven sheet is a laminate, the meltblown nonwoven sheet (M) and the spunbond nonwoven sheet (S) are meltblown between spunbond nonwoven sheets, for example, S / M / M / S. It is preferable that they are laminated so as to sandwich the nonwoven sheet. A spunbond non-woven sheet having high strength due to spunbond fibers which are continuous long fibers, and a meltblown nonwoven sheet having high fiber density due to meltblown fibers which are ultrafine short fibers in which fibers are irregularly arranged and overlap each other and are entangled with each other. By stacking the sheet and the sheet, it is possible to impart high tensile strength, tear strength, durability, and high flexibility to the moisture-permeable
Further, when the moisture-permeable
On the other hand, when the nonwoven sheet of the
The meltblown nonwoven sheet and the spunbond nonwoven sheet may be adhered to each other by a thermal bond method, a needle punch method, a spunlace method, and / or a chemical bond method. When they are bonded by the needle punching method, the surface of the spunbond nonwoven sheet, which is the outermost layer, becomes more fluffy and the surface area can be increased. Thereby, the adhesive area with the moisture permeable
Furthermore, the
The materials of the non-woven sheets of the
Specific examples of such a material include saturated polyester resins different from those described above. In addition, polyolefin homopolymers such as polyethylene and polypropylene; α-olefin copolymers such as propylene-α-olefin copolymer and ethylene-α-olefin copolymer; polyamides such as aramid; polyurethane; natural rubber, synthetic rubber, polybutadiene-based elastomer, Elastomers such as styrene-butadiene based elastomers, styrene-isoprene based elastomers, and styrene-isobutylene based elastomers. These may be used alone or in combination.

A method of manufacturing the moisture-permeable
First, the non-woven sheets to be the
The reactive urethane prepolymer, which is the main component of the moisture permeable resin contained in the hot melt adhesive 20a, is cured by the reaction with water. Therefore, the hot melt adhesive 20a is hermetically packaged so that it does not react with moisture in the air when it is stored or transported so that it does not harden. The hot-
After sealing the
The viscosity of the molten hot melt adhesive 20a at 100 ° C. is preferably 1000 to 5000 mPa · s, more preferably 2000 to 4500 mPa · s, and even more preferably 2500 to 4000 mPa · s. .. When the viscosity of the hot melt adhesive 20a is less than the lower limit value or more than the upper limit value, the discharge amount from the die 50 described later per unit time, that is, the coating amount on the nonwoven sheet is set to a desired range. Can not do it. The viscosity is a value obtained by a measuring method according to JIS K6862 (1984).
The die coater has a die 50 that discharges the hot melt adhesive 20a onto the nonwoven sheet. The
The
The second non-woven sheet to be the
In this pressure bonding step, the pressing force of both pressure bonding rolls 65a and 65b is increased by the moisture-permeable adhesive
The pressure bonding rolls 65a and 65b may have a surface temperature of 80 to 180 ° C., preferably 80 to 130 ° C. by incorporating a heater therein. In this case, pressure can be applied to the laminate by heat while maintaining the fluidity of the hot-melt adhesive 20a forming the moisture-permeable adhesive
The reactive urethane prepolymer contained in the hot melt adhesive 20a mainly reacts with water present in the air to crosslink. It is always exposed to air in the manufacturing process of the moisture-permeable
As described above, according to the method of manufacturing the moisture-permeable
When the hot melt adhesive 20a contains a saturated polyester resin in addition to the reactive urethane prepolymer as the moisture permeable resin, the moisture permeable
Although the die coating method using a die coater is mentioned as a coating method of the hot melt adhesive 20a in the film forming step, a roll coating method using a roll coater may be adopted as shown in FIG. The die coating method is suitable for forming the moisture-permeable adhesive

In the film forming step, in addition to the die coating method and the roll coating method, the slit coating method, the knife belt coating method, the micro gravure coating method, the comma coating method, the curtain coating method, the curtain flow coating method, the natural coating method, the gravure coating method, Any of a kiss roll method, a knife over roll method, a squeeze roll method, a reverse roll method, a floating knife method, an air blade method, and a knife on blanket method may be adopted.

The moisture-permeable
Another mode of the moisture-permeable
The
The moisture-permeable
The thickness of the
The
The hot melt adhesive of the moisture-
Further, the moisture permeable

(Moisture permeability, durability, and waterproofness test)
Regarding the moisture-permeable waterproof sheets of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4, in accordance with JIS A6111 (2016), moisture-permeable resistance as moisture permeability, water pressure resistance as durability and strength, and waterproof property as Nail hole water stoppage was measured respectively. The moisture permeability resistance specified in the same standard is 0.19 (m 2 · s · Pa / μg) or less for the outer wall moisture-permeable waterproof sheet A and 0.13 (m 2 · m 2 s · Pa / μg) or less and a roof moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of 0.65 (m 2 · s · Pa / μg) or less, and its water resistance in durability is 8 kPa or more for both the outer wall and the roof. The tensile strength as strength is 100 (N) or more in both length and width. The nail hole waterproofness is evaluated by the average value of 10 samples by measuring the water level change (mm) of water stored in a transparent pipe having an inner diameter of 40 mm which is erected on a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet that penetrates the nail. It The standard stipulated in this standard is that the average value of 10 samples is 5 mm or less, and there is no total outflow of water. For the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of Example 4 having a ventilation layer, the tensile strength was evaluated except for the ventilation layer. The evaluation results are shown in Table 1.
As can be seen from Table 1, the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet to which the present invention is applied exhibits low moisture permeability resistance, high water pressure resistance and tensile strength, and is excellent in moisture permeability, durability and strength. It also has high water resistance for nail holes. In particular, the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of Example 1 has a moisture-permeable resistance that is lower than the standard of the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet for outer walls of JIS A6111 (2016) and a water pressure resistance that is significantly higher than that, and thus has moisture permeability, durability and strength. Since it is compatible with both, it can be used not only as a roof wrap material but also as an outer wall.
The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet of the present invention is used for a roof of a house or a base of an outer wall.
