Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a striking tool configured to drive a tip tool linearly.
2. Description of the Related Art A hitting tool that performs a working operation (for example, a filing operation) on a workpiece by driving a tip tool linearly along a predetermined drive axis is known. In such a striking tool, the motor is driven at a low speed in a state where the tool bit is not pressed against the workpiece and no load is applied (hereinafter referred to as no load state), and the tool bit is pressed against the workpiece. When a load is applied (hereinafter, referred to as a load state), control for driving the motor at a higher speed may be performed. For example,
As in the case of the hammer drill of
An object of the present invention is to provide a striking tool that can appropriately detect a load state and control driving of a motor.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hitting tool including a motor, a driving mechanism, a main body housing, a handle, a battery mounting unit, a first detection unit, and a control unit.
The drive mechanism is configured to be capable of performing an operation of linearly driving the tip tool along the drive shaft by the power of a motor. The drive shaft extends in the front-back direction of the impact tool. The main body housing houses the motor and the drive mechanism. The handle has a grip portion that is gripped by a user. The handle is connected to the main body housing via an elastic member, and is relatively movable with respect to the main body housing. The battery mounting portion is configured so that a battery as a power supply for the motor can be attached and detached. The first detector is configured to detect a relative position of the handle with respect to the main body housing. The control unit is configured to control the rotation speed of the motor based on a detection result of the first detection unit.
In the impact tool according to this aspect, the rotation speed of the motor is controlled based on the detection result of the first detection unit, that is, the relative position of the handle with respect to the main body housing. When the tool bit is pressed against the workpiece, the handle elastically connected to the main body housing moves forward relative to the main body housing. That is, the transition from the no-load state to the load state corresponds to the relative movement of the steering wheel forward. Therefore, according to this aspect, it is possible to appropriately detect the transition from the no-load state to the load state based on the relative position of the steering wheel detected by the first detection unit, and control the rotation speed of the motor.
In this aspect, the first detection section only needs to be able to detect the relative position of the handle with respect to the main body housing, and can be arranged at an arbitrary position on the main body housing or the handle. In addition, from the viewpoint of accurately detecting the relative movement of the handle with respect to the main body housing, the first detection unit is preferably disposed adjacent to the elastic member. In addition, any known method can be adopted as the detection method of the first detection unit. For example, any of a non-contact method (magnetic field detection method, optical method, and the like) and a contact method can be adopted.
In one aspect of the present invention, when the handle is located at the first position with respect to the main body housing, the control unit drives the motor at the first rotation speed, and relatively moves the handle from the first position to the second position. In this case, the motor may be configured to be driven at the second rotation speed. The second position is a position forward of the first position with respect to the main body housing. The second rotation speed is higher than the first rotation speed. According to this aspect, when the tip tool is not hitting the workpiece, it is possible to prevent the motor from being driven unnecessarily at a high speed and to suppress vibration of the main body housing. Further, according to this aspect, it is possible to prevent the motor from being driven unnecessarily at a high speed, to suppress the consumption of the battery, and to improve the runtime, which is important for a battery-driven impact tool.
Both the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed may be a predetermined rotation speed. Alternatively, both the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed may be set via an operation member operated by the user, or only one of the rotation speeds is set via the operation member, and Accordingly, the other rotation speed may be set by the control unit. In addition, a value larger than zero is adopted for each of the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed.
Note that, in this aspect, when the handle relatively moves from the first position to the second position, the control unit does not always need to drive the motor at the second rotation speed higher than the first rotation speed. Below, it is also allowable that the control unit continues to drive the motor at the first rotation speed even after the handle has relatively moved to the second position. As such a condition, for example, a case where the rotation speed set as the second rotation speed via the operation member is equal to or lower than a predetermined first rotation speed or the first rotation speed set via the operation member. No. In this case, the rotation speed set as the second rotation speed via the operation member may be used as the first rotation speed.
In one aspect of the present invention, the first detection unit may be disposed on a handle. Since the handle is elastically connected to the main body housing, transmission of vibration generated in the main body housing is suppressed. The first detection unit has an electronic component. Therefore, by disposing the first detection unit on the handle, the first detection unit can be protected from vibration.
In one embodiment of the present invention, when the handle relatively moves from the first position to the second position, the control unit may immediately increase the rotation speed from the first rotation speed to the second rotation speed. According to this aspect, since the impact speed of the tip tool on the workpiece is immediately increased in accordance with the transition to the load state, the working efficiency can be improved.
In one aspect of the present invention, when the handle relatively moves from the first position to the second position, the control unit may gradually increase the rotation speed from the first rotation speed to the second rotation speed. According to this aspect, since the impact speed of the tip tool with respect to the workpiece gradually increases in accordance with the transition to the load state, a good operational feeling can be given to the user.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the first rotation speed may be equal to or less than half of the second rotation speed. According to this aspect, it is possible to more effectively suppress the consumption of the battery in the no-load state.
In one aspect of the present invention, when the handle relatively moves from the second position to the first position, the control unit changes the rotation speed of the motor from the second rotation speed after a predetermined time has elapsed after leaving the second position. It may be lowered to the first rotation speed. The predetermined time may be zero or a time longer than zero. The predetermined time may be set in advance at the time of shipment from the factory and stored in a storage device, or may be set by a user via an operation member. When the predetermined time is zero, the control unit immediately decreases the rotation speed of the motor from the second rotation speed to the first rotation speed when the handle relatively moves from the second position to the first position. In this case, control excellent in responsiveness to the release of the pressing of the tip tool against the workpiece by the user can be realized. On the other hand, when the handle is elastically connected to the main body housing, the handle relatively moves due to vibration of the main body housing, and may temporarily move from the second position to the first position. Therefore, when the predetermined time is longer than zero, it is necessary to appropriately determine the relative movement of the handle due to the release of the pressing of the tip tool against the workpiece and reduce the rotation speed of the motor instead of such vibration. Can be.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the drive mechanism may be further configured to be capable of performing an operation of rotating the tip tool around the drive axis by the power of the motor. In this case, the impact tool may further include a second detection unit capable of detecting a motion state of the main body housing around the drive shaft. And the 2nd detection part may be provided in the steering wheel. When the tip tool is driven to rotate, the main body housing may rotate excessively around the drive shaft, for example, because the tip tool is buried in the workpiece. The second detection unit can be used for detecting such a so-called swinging state. The second detection unit has an electronic component. Therefore, by arranging the second detection unit on the handle whose vibration is reduced as compared with the main body housing, the second detection unit can be protected from vibration. Note that the second detection unit only needs to be able to detect the motion state of the main body housing around the drive shaft, and for example, an acceleration sensor can be suitably used as the second detection unit.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the drive mechanism may further include an idle hit prevention mechanism configured to prevent an idle hit operation. In this case, the handle is configured to be disposed in the second position at the same time as or after the prevention function of the idling operation is released in response to the insertion of the tool bit into the main body housing. Is also good. In addition, the prevention of the idling operation here is to prevent the operation of driving the tip tool linearly in a no-load state, for example, by obstructing the operation of a part of the driving mechanism. Can be realized. Any known configuration can be adopted as the idling prevention mechanism. According to this aspect, the operation of driving the tip tool in a straight line is started immediately at the time when the rotation speed of the motor is increased to the second rotation speed, and good work efficiency can be secured. Note that the timing control according to this aspect can be typically realized by appropriately setting the specifications (for example, the spring constant) of the elastic member.
In one aspect of the present invention, the impact tool may further include a third detection unit capable of detecting a load on the tip tool. And the control part may be comprised so that the rotation speed of a motor may be controlled based on the detection result of a 1st detection part and a 3rd detection part. More specifically, the control unit is configured to drive the motor at the first rotation speed when the handle is located at the first position with respect to the main body housing and the load on the tool bit does not exceed the threshold value. It may be. Further, the control unit controls the motor when the handle relatively moves from the first position to the second position in front of the first position with respect to the main body housing, or when a load on the tool bit exceeds a threshold value. , May be configured to be driven at a second rotation speed higher than the first rotation speed.
In addition, by using the load separately detected by the third detection unit in addition to the relative position of the steering wheel, it is possible to more reliably detect the transition from the no-load state to the load state even in different work states. .
In this embodiment, both the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed may be predetermined rotation speeds. Further, when the handle is relatively moved from the first position to the second position, the control unit does not always need to drive the motor at the second rotation speed higher than the first rotation speed, and the control unit does not perform control under a constant condition. The part can also allow the motor to continue driving at the first rotation speed even after the handle has relatively moved to the second position.
In one aspect of the present invention, the third detection unit may be configured to detect a drive current of the motor as a load on the tool bit. It is known that the drive current of the motor increases with an increase in the load on the tool bit. According to this aspect, with a simple configuration, information different in type from the relative position of the handle can be detected and used as the load on the tip tool.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the motor may be drivable at a speed higher than the second rotation speed. Then, the control unit may be configured to drive the motor at the maximum rotation speed when the handle relatively moves from the first position to the second position and the load exceeds a threshold. According to this aspect, when it is more certain that the load state is detected based on the detection result of the first detection unit and the detection result of the third detection unit, the maximum work efficiency can be exhibited.
In one aspect of the present invention, the hitting tool may further include a battery mounted on the battery mounting portion.

The
In the following description, for the sake of convenience, the extending direction of the drive shaft A1 is defined as the front-back direction of the

Hereinafter, the detailed configuration of the
First, the internal structure of the main body housing 10 (the
As shown in FIG. 2, the drive
The
The
When the
In the present embodiment, an idle
The idling
The
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
A part of the handle 15 (specifically, a lower connecting portion 18) is disposed in a rear portion of a lower portion of the motor housing portion 12 (that is, a region lower than the motor 2).
Next, a detailed configuration of the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
As described above, the
The
Although not shown in detail, the
The speed
The lower end of the controller accommodating portion 17 (below the controller 41) is configured as a
In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, a
It is to be noted that there are not only the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the lower connecting
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the lower connecting
In the present embodiment, the rotation axis A2 is set below the battery mounting portion 171 (more specifically, the guide rail 172 (see FIG. 5)) in the lower connecting
As shown in FIG. 6, the lower connecting
On the other hand, on the inner surface sides of the left and right side walls of the
As shown in FIG. 2, the upper connecting
As shown in FIG. 4, the upper connecting
When no load is applied, the upper connecting
Hereinafter, details of the internal structures of the lower connecting
As shown in FIG. 4, the lower connecting
In the present embodiment, the
The case where the rotation of the
Note that the
As shown in FIG. 9, the
The
Since such a system is publicly known, the
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the upper connecting
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7, when the
As described above, the lower end of the
Specifically, the drive of the drive mechanism 3 generates vibrations in the front-back direction and the up-down direction in the
In particular, in the present embodiment, the rotation axis A2 is set directly below the upper connecting portion 19 (specifically, almost immediately below the rear end of the elastic member 191). That is, the fulcrum of rotation and the elastic connection portion are set at substantially the same position in the direction of the drive shaft A1. Further, the
The position of the rotation axis A2 is set below the center of gravity G of the handlebar in a state where the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
The
Hereinafter, the drive control of the
In the present embodiment, so-called soft no-load control is performed by the controller 41 (more specifically, the CPU of the controller 41). The soft no-load control is a drive control method of the
In the present embodiment, the detection result of the
When the user presses the
In the present embodiment, the
In addition, the
Regardless of whether the
Further, in the present embodiment, control based on the detection result of the
As described above, according to the drive control of the
By the way, as described above, the relative movement of the
Hereinafter, a modified example in which the drive current of the
FIG. 10 shows an electrical configuration of the
In this modification, when both the detection result of the
More specifically, when the output from the
As described above, the
As described above, when the vibration (acceleration) of the
The above embodiment is merely an example, and the impact tool according to the present invention is not limited to the configuration of the illustrated
In the above-described embodiment, the
For example, the elastic connection structure between the
The
The
The
The contents of the soft no-load control exemplified in the above embodiment may be appropriately changed. For example, the value of the ratio of the first rotation speed to the second rotation speed may be a value other than half. Further, both the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed may be determined in advance, or both the first rotation speed and the second rotation speed may be set via the speed
Further, the
Further, in the above embodiment, when the upper connecting
上記実施形態では、コントローラ41は、CPU等を含むマイクロコンピュータによって構成される例が挙げられているが、例えば、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuits)、FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)などのプログラマブル・ロジック・デバイスで構成されていてもよい。
