Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an atmospheric pressure plasma sterilizer for performing sterilization processing or inactivating mold venom using plasma. In particular, the present invention relates to an atmospheric pressure plasma sterilization apparatus capable of reliably performing a plasma treatment on granular objects such as rice, wheat, corn, coffee beans, peanuts, pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts, cocoa beans, pepper, and pepper.
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, sterilizers for agricultural products and medical equipment that use atmospheric pressure plasma have attracted attention. In particular, plasma treatment equipment for mold fungi and mold venom that settle on food and feed has the merit that nonconforming products that must be discarded can be restored to their intended purpose, Practical application is expected, and the needs are increasing. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sells imported rice stored in Japan after opening the entire bag immediately before sales, checking for the presence of mold-like foreign substances, and inspecting for mold venom. It is known that there are a total of 32 tons of food rice discarded in 2013 (one year).
In the related field of the atmospheric pressure plasma sterilization apparatus, new attempts have been made at present to address the above-mentioned needs, such as the electrode structure and the pulsing of electric power, which are the key technologies of the plasma generating means. However, it is difficult to process a large amount of plasma processing objects quickly and without unevenness, and it has not yet been fully commercialized.
In addition, it is difficult to apply the mold poison removal method by physical adsorption because the influence of the adsorbent on the human body must be considered. It is known that the wet treatment process is indispensable, and the application of the treatment agent to food is difficult because the treatment agent permeates into the object to be treated and the quality deteriorates and decomposes due to excessive humidity.

First, the overall configuration of the atmospheric pressure plasma sterilization apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described.
Reference numeral 1 denotes a reaction vessel. The reaction vessel 1 is a cylindrical vessel having a rectangular or circular cross section. As shown in FIG. 1, the reaction vessel 1 is provided with a charging

Next, the configuration of the barrier

Here, as will be described later, a pair of electrodes composed of a plate-shaped

The dielectric 10a is selected from insulating materials such as glass, ceramic, polymer film, polyethylene, vinyl, silicon rubber, fluororesin, polyimide, and mica.
In practice, it is preferable to select a ceramic that can be machined (machinable ceramics). If machinable ceramics are used, it is possible to easily manufacture the dielectric 10a used in combination with the sawtooth

A feature of the atmospheric pressure plasma sterilization apparatus according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention is that a mesh-shaped electrode shown in FIG. 7 is used as the non-ground electrode of the barrier discharge plasma generating means.

The method for plasma sterilizing the
