Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年12月2日に提出され、「高温架橋された破砕流体」と題された米国仮出願第62/262,250号の優先権を主張し、前記米国仮出願は参照によってその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
実施の形態によっては、コポリマーに対する金属の重量比は0.02〜0.06の範囲である。
範囲の形式で表された値は、範囲の限界として明示的に示された数値だけを含むのではなく、その範囲に包含される個々の数値又は部分範囲も全て、あたかも各数値及び部分範囲が明示的に示されているかの如く、含むものと柔軟に解釈すべきである。例えば、「約0.1%〜約5%」又は「約0.1%〜5%」という範囲は、約0.1%〜約5%だけでなく、示された範囲内の個々の値(例えば、1%、2%、3%、及び4%)及び部分範囲(例えば、0.1%〜0.5%、1.1%〜2.2%、3.3%〜4.4%)も含むものと解釈すべきである。「約X〜Y」という記述は、別段の指示がない限り「約X〜約Y」と同じ意味である。同様に、「約X、Y、又は約Z」という記述は、別段の指示がない限り「約X、約Y、又は約Z」と同じ意味である。
本書において提供されるのは、破砕流体及び架橋された破砕流体である。破砕流体は、コポリマー含む水性組成物と、架橋剤を含む架橋溶液とを含む。架橋された破砕流体は、コポリマーと架橋剤との架橋生成物を含む。
化学物質:
M1−以下の実施例で用いるターポリマーは、15mol%の2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸(AMPSA)、5mol%のアクリル酸(AA)、及び80mol%のアクリルアミド(AM)を含有する油中水型エマルションの形態である(30%活性)。
M2−20%酢酸溶液;M2’−酢酸/酢酸緩衝液溶液。
M3−Zr架橋剤(TYZOR212、16.75wt%のZrO2と12.4wt%のZrを含む)。
M4−ゲル安定剤(CELB225−010−2、ChemEORから入手可能)。
M5−粘土安定剤、50%塩化テトラメチルアンモニウム(TMAC)(PACS−150L、Precision Additivesから入手可能)。

Claims (21)
- 破砕流体であって:
2-アクリルアミド-2-メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位と、アクリルアミドモノマー単位と、アクリル酸モノマー単位又はその塩とを含むコポリマーを含む水性コポリマー組成物と;
金属を含む架橋剤と;の混合物を備え、
前記コポリマーに対する前記金属の重量比が、0.01〜0.08の範囲である、
破砕流体。 - 前記コポリマーに対する前記金属の前記重量比が、0.02〜0.06の範囲である、
請求項1に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記コポリマーが、1mol%〜55mol%の前記2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位を含む、
請求項1又は2に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記コポリマーが、1mol%〜40mol%の前記2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位を含む、
請求項3に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記コポリマーが、1mol%〜25mol%の前記2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位を含む、
請求項4に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記コポリマーが、ターポリマーである、
先の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - ゲル安定剤、粘土安定剤、粘性破壊剤、プロパント、及びpH調節剤のうちの少なくとも1種を含む、
先の記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記pH調節剤を含み、前記破砕流体のpHが、2〜7又は3〜6.5の範囲である、
請求項7に記載の破砕流体。 - 50mg/Lと50,000mg/Lの間の総溶解固形分を含む、
先の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記破砕流体中の前記金属の濃度が、0.001wt%〜0.024wt%の範囲である、
先の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - 前記破砕流体が、前記破砕流体3785.4リットル(1000ガロン)当たり9.07〜22.7kg(20〜50ポンド)の前記コポリマーを含む、
先の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - 架橋後、ゲルが148.9℃〜204.4℃(300°F〜400°F)の範囲の温度で40s−1のせん断速度に曝されたとき、前記破砕流体が、少なくとも0.500Pa・s(500cP)の粘度を少なくとも80分間有する、
先の請求項のいずれか一項に記載の破砕流体。 - 地下層を処理する方法であって:
破砕流体を地下層へ導入するステップであって、
2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位と、アクリルアミドモノマー単位と、アクリル酸モノマー単位又はその塩とを含むコポリマーを含む水性コポリマー組成物と;
金属を含む架橋剤であって、前記コポリマーに対する前記金属の重量比が0.01〜0.08の範囲である、金属を含む架橋剤と;を含む破砕流体を地下層へ導入するステップ;及び
前記地下層において前記破砕流体を架橋させ、架橋された破砕流体を生成するステップ;を備える、
地下層を処理する方法。 - 前記破砕流体中の前記金属の濃度が0.001wt%〜0.024wt%の範囲である、
請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記破砕流体が、前記コポリマーに対して9.07〜22.7kg(20〜50ポンド)の前記架橋剤を含む、
請求項13又は14に記載の方法。 - 前記架橋剤が、ジルコニウムを含み、
前記破砕流体が、前記破砕流体3785.4リットル(1000ガロン)当たり11.3kg(25ポンド)の前記コポリマーを含み、
前記コポリマーに対する前記ジルコニウムの重量比が、約0.02〜0.04の範囲であり、
前記コポリマーが、15wt%の前記2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位を含み、
前記架橋された破砕流体が、148.9℃(300°F)の温度で40s−1のせん断速度に曝されたとき、前記架橋された破砕流体が、少なくとも0.500Pa・s(500cP)の粘度を最大180分間維持する、
請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記架橋された破砕流体が、粘性破壊剤を含み、
前記架橋された破砕流体が、少なくとも0.500Pa・s(500cP)の粘度を最大160分間維持し、
前記架橋された破砕流体が、148.9℃(300°F)の温度で40s−1のせん断速度に曝されたとき、360分後に0.010Pa・s(10cP)未満の粘度を有する、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記架橋剤が、ジルコニウムを含み、
前記破砕流体が、前記破砕流体3785.4リットル(1000ガロン)当たり9.07kg(20ポンド)の前記コポリマーを含み、
前記コポリマーに対する前記ジルコニウムの重量比が、約0.02〜0.04の範囲であり、

請求項16に記載の方法。 - 破砕流体であって:
2-アクリルアミド-2-メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位と、アクリルアミドモノマー単位と、アクリル酸モノマー単位又はその塩とを含むコポリマーを含む水性コポリマー組成物であって、前記コポリマーが、1mol%〜55mol%の前記2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸モノマー単位を含む、水性コポリマー組成物と;
金属を含む架橋剤と;の混合物を含み、
前記コポリマーに対する前記金属の重量比が、0.01〜0.08の範囲であり、
前記架橋剤は、温度148.9℃(300°F)、pH7未満で少なくとも0.500Pa・s(500cP)の粘度を有する架橋された流体を生成するのに十分な量で存在する、
破砕流体。 - 前記架橋剤が、水混和性非水性流体を含む、
請求項20に記載の破砕流体。
