Claims (11)
- 排出ガスセンサ(100)の制御装置(10)であって、
前記排出ガスセンサは、内燃機関(EG)で生じた排出ガスから酸素を排出する第1セル(150)と、前記第1セルによって酸素が排出された後の排出ガスに含まれる残留酸素の濃度、に応じた大きさの信号を出力する第2セル(160,170)と、を有するものであり、
排出ガスの温度を取得するガス温度取得部(14)と、
前記ガス温度取得部によって取得された排出ガスの温度に基づいて、前記第2セルの温度を推定するセル温度推定部(15)と、を備える制御装置。 - 前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定する劣化判定部(13)を更に備え、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された前記第2セルの温度が、予め設定された適温範囲を外れているときには、
前記劣化判定部は、前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かの判定を行わない、請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記第2セルを流れる電流の値を取得するセル電流取得部(16)を更に備え、
前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル電流取得部によって取得された電流の値を、正常時において前記第2セルを流れる電流の値で除することにより得られた値を用いて、前記第2セルの劣化の程度を示す劣化指数を算出し、当該劣化指数に基づいて、前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定する、請求項2に記載の制御装置。 - 前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された前記第2セルの温度に基づいて、前記劣化指数を補正し、補正後の前記劣化指数に基づいて、前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定する、請求項3に記載の制御装置。 - 前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル電流取得部によって取得された電流の値の変化量を、正常時において前記第2セルを流れる電流の値の変化量で除することにより得られた値を用いて、前記劣化指数を算出する、請求項3又は4に記載の制御装置。 - 前記ガス温度取得部によって取得された排出ガスの温度に基づいて、前記排出ガスセンサが取り付けられている排気配管の温度を取得する配管温度取得部(17)を更に備え、
前記セル温度推定部は、
前記配管温度取得部によって取得された前記排気配管の温度に基づいて、前記第2セルの温度を推定する、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。 - 前記第2セルは、
前記第1セルによって酸素が排出された後の排出ガスに含まれる、残留酸素の濃度に応じた大きさの信号を出力するモニタセル(170)と、
前記第1セルによって酸素が排出された後の排出ガスに含まれる、残留酸素及び窒素酸化物の濃度に応じた大きさの信号を出力するセンサセル(160)と、を含むものである、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。 - 前記セル温度推定部は、前記モニタセルの温度及び前記センサセルの温度のうち少なくとも一方を推定する、請求項7に記載の制御装置。
- 前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定する劣化判定部と、
前記第2セルを流れる電流の値を取得するセル電流取得部と、を更に備え、
前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル電流取得部によって取得された電流の値を、正常時において前記第2セルを流れる電流の値で除することによりにより得られた値を用いて、前記第2セルの劣化の程度を示す劣化指数を算出し、当該劣化指数に基づいて、前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定するものであって、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された前記第2セルの温度に基づいて、前記劣化指数を補正し、補正後の前記劣化指数に基づいて、前記第2セルに劣化が生じているか否かを判定するように構成されており、
前記劣化判定部による前記劣化指数の算出及び補正が、前記モニタセル及び前記センサセルのそれぞれについて行われる、請求項8に記載の制御装置。 - 前記セル温度推定部は、前記モニタセルの温度及び前記センサセルの温度をそれぞれ推定し、
前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された前記モニタセルの温度に基づいて、前記モニタセルについて算出された前記劣化指数の補正を行い、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された前記センサセルの温度に基づいて、前記センサセルについて算出された前記劣化指数の補正を行うように構成されている、請求項9に記載の制御装置。 - 前記劣化判定部は、
前記セル温度推定部によって推定された、前記モニタセルの温度及び前記センサセルの温度のうちの一方に基づいて、前記モニタセルについて算出された前記劣化指数の補正、及び、前記センサセルについて算出された前記劣化指数の補正、のそれぞれを行うように構成されている、請求項9に記載の制御装置。
