Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a lunar base supply method for supplying a base to the lunar surface, and a landing assist device used therefor.
In order for a spacecraft to navigate to a planet other than the Earth (for example, Mars), a base is set up on the moon whose gravitational force is about 1/6 of the gravitational force of the earth. It is possible to sail. Also, since there is no atmosphere in the moon, there is a risk of exposure to a large amount of cosmic rays (radiation), but by using the lunar base, you can protect yourself from cosmic rays.
In general, fuel consumption in a flying object such as a spacecraft is significant when the speed of the flying object changes greatly. That is, a large amount of fuel is consumed when the flying object accelerates to take off or decelerates because the flying object lands. Further, the larger the total mass of the flying object, the more fuel is consumed. Therefore, when a flying object carries a large amount of fuel for landing, the overall mass of the flying object increases, resulting in a snowball phenomenon that a larger amount of fuel must be loaded for takeoff.
As a related technique,
According to
As disclosed in
However, since the moon and the earth are about 380,000 km apart, when a base is set up on the moon, if materials used to construct the base are transported from the earth to the moon and the base is assembled on the moon, The personnel who assemble the base are also burdensome because they must travel back and forth between the earth and the moon. Also, a large amount of fuel is required to transport the personnel who assemble the base on the spacecraft.
Therefore, in view of the above points, the first object of the present invention is to provide a lunar base capable of supplying a base to the moon more easily than transporting materials from the earth to the moon and assembling the base on the moon. It is to provide a supply method. The second object of the present invention is to provide a lunar base supply method capable of supplying a base to the moon while suppressing fuel consumption during landing. Furthermore, the third object of the present invention is to provide a landing assist device used in such a lunar base supply method.
In order to solve the above problems, a lunar base supply method according to a first aspect of the present invention transports materials used for assembling a structure over the earth and circulates along the orbit of the earth. Step (a), step (b) of assembling a structure using the material in the orbit of the earth, and moving the assembled structure from the orbit of the earth toward the moon, and soft landing on the moon (C) making it usable as a base.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the structure is assembled while the material circulates along the earth's orbit, the gravity of the earth acting on the material and the centrifugal force due to the orbital motion balance each other so that the weightless state is obtained. Created and can reduce the force required to move and assemble materials. Also, since the Earth's orbit is much closer to the Earth than the Moon, it is easier to supply a base to the Moon than to transport materials from the Earth to the Moon and assemble the base on the Moon, greatly increasing space development costs. Reduction and work time can be greatly shortened.
The lunar base supply method according to the second aspect of the present invention uses a wire rope having one end connected to a structure orbiting along a circular orbit of the earth, using a hoist provided in the landing assist device. And (a) connecting the structure and the landing assistance device, and operating at least one booster provided in the structure to move the structure and the landing assistance device around the earth. (B) moving from the orbit toward the moon and orbiting along the orbit of the moon, and operating the at least one booster and feeding the wire rope out of the hoist, Expanding the distance between the structure and the landing assist device to a predetermined distance so as to be closer to the moon surface than the landing assist device; and the at least one (D) dropping the structure and the landing assist device toward the moon surface by operating a booster to reduce the circulation speed of the structure and the landing assist device; and When approaching a surface to a first distance, the winding rope is used to start winding the wire rope, thereby reducing the distance between the structure and the landing assist device to reduce the falling speed of the structure. A step (e) of lowering, a step (f) of separating the landing assist device from the structure when the structure approaches the moon surface to a second distance, and a soft landing of the structure on the moon surface. And (g) making it usable as a base.
The landing assist device according to the second aspect of the present invention is a landing assist device used for softly landing a structure on the moon surface and making it usable as a base, and has a predetermined length. And in the orbit of the earth, the wire rope having one end connected to the structure is wound up to connect the structure and the landing assist device, and the wire rope is sent out in the orbit of the moon and the structure The distance between the structure and the landing assistance device is adjusted by adjusting the distance between the object and the landing assistance device to a predetermined distance and winding up the wire rope when the structure falls toward the moon surface. And a hoisting machine for reducing the falling speed of the structure.
According to the 2nd viewpoint of this invention, when a structure approaches the moon surface, the fall speed of a structure can be reduced by winding up a wire rope using the winding machine of a landing assistance apparatus. Therefore, it is possible to significantly reduce the space development cost by supplying a base to the moon while suppressing fuel consumption during landing.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
<Moon Base Supply Method 1>
FIG. 1 is a flowchart showing a lunar base supply method according to the first embodiment of the present invention. In step S11 of FIG. 1, the material used for assembling the structure is transported over the earth and circulated along the orbit of the earth. In the present application, the “structure” may be a base facility installed on the moon surface or a part thereof, or may be a newly constructed space station.
For example, materials used for assembling a structure are mounted on the spacecraft, and the spacecraft is launched from a coastal launch point along the flight path. After that, the spacecraft is controlled to get into the orbit of the earth, and when it gets into the orbit of the earth, the rocket engine of the spacecraft is stopped. As this orbit, an orbit within an altitude range of about 160 km to about 20,000 km as measured from the average ocean surface of the earth is suitable. For example, a circular orbit having an altitude of about 400 km may be set. The spacecraft orbits around the earth at an orbital speed that balances the gravity of the earth with the centrifugal force of the orbiting motion.
In step S12, a structure is assembled using materials in the orbit of the earth. For example, materials used for assembling the structure are carried out from the spacecraft to outer space, and the structure is assembled in outer space. In the orbit of the earth, a gravity-free state is created by the balance between the gravity of the earth acting on the material and the centrifugal force due to the orbiting motion, so that the force required for the movement and assembly of the material can be reduced.
In step S13, the assembled structure is moved from the orbit of the earth toward the moon, and is softly landed on the moon without being destroyed so that it can be used as a base. For this purpose, at least one booster (a rocket engine that can be detached after use) that provides propulsive force or braking force may be attached to the structure itself.
According to the first embodiment of the present invention, the structure is assembled while the material circulates along the orbit of the earth, so that the gravity of the earth acting on the material and the centrifugal force due to the orbital movement balance, thereby the weightless state. Can be created to reduce the force required to move and assemble materials. Also, since the Earth's orbit is much closer to the Earth than the Moon, it is easier to supply a base to the Moon than to transport materials from the Earth to the Moon and assemble the base on the Moon, greatly increasing space development costs. Reduction and work time can be greatly shortened.
<Moon base supply method 2>
Next, a lunar base supply method according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The lunar base supply method according to the second embodiment is a specific method for soft landing by moving a structure orbiting along the orbit of the earth to the moon surface. As the structure, a structure (including a space station) assembled by the lunar base supply method according to the first embodiment may be used, or an existing space station may be used.
The currently operating space station is operated by multiple countries at a high cost, but will retire in about five years after starting operation. If the retired space station is moved to the lunar surface and reused, the cost and work time for providing a base on the moon can be greatly reduced without wasting resources. In the following, as an example, a case will be described in which an existing space station orbiting along the orbit of the earth is moved to the lunar surface to serve as the base of the moon.
FIG. 2 is a schematic view schematically showing a space station and a landing assistance device used in the lunar base supply method according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The
The
In order to use the
The hoisting
In the orbit of the earth, the hoisting
On the other hand, in the moon orbit, the hoisting
FIG. 3 is a flowchart showing a lunar base supply method according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In step S21 of FIG. 3, the
In step S22, at least one booster 11 and / or 12 provided in the
The orbital altitude H2 measured from the average surface of the moon is suitably in the range of about 40 km to about 5,000 km. For example, a circular orbit having an altitude of about 100 km may be set. The
In step S23, at least one booster 11 and / or 12 is operated, and the
In step S24, the at least one booster 11 and / or 12 is operated to decrease the orbital speed of the
In step S25, when the
In step S26, when the
In the case of magnetic connection, it is assumed that the N pole (or S pole) side of the magnet included in the terminal fixed to one end of the
When disconnecting the landing assist
When the landing assist
In step S27, the
