Conventionally, for the purpose of energy saving, high demand for low fuel consumption performance of tires has been increasing, and high performance tires for enjoying sports driving are required to have high compatibility between steering stability and low fuel consumption performance. Among them, a technique is generally used in which silica is used as a filler and the tread rubber using the modified SBR is made highly rigid while lowering heat generation.
On the other hand, the tire tread has a double structure (inner surface layer and surface layer), and a rubber composition excellent in rolling resistance characteristics and steering stability is also used for the base tread as the inner surface layer. .
And in patent document 1, carbon which has a comparatively big particle diameter which contains a rubber component, carbon black, a thermosetting resin, and a hardening | curing agent as a rubber composition for base treads, and is not normally used as a passenger car tire. The use of black describes a rubber composition that achieves both rolling resistance and steering stability when used in a tire, and is excellent in crack growth resistance.
However, the above-described method using silica as a filler and reducing the heat generation while increasing the rigidity of a tread rubber using modified SBR has a problem that it contradicts the brake performance.
Moreover, in patent document 1, it is known that compounds, such as an amine generate | occur | produced in the effect reaction of a thermosetting resin, will reduce the adhesiveness of rubber | gum and dissimilar materials, such as textile and steel, those There was a problem that it could not be applied to peripheral parts containing different materials.
Further, in Patent Document 2, although it is possible to improve the steering stability, rolling resistance characteristics and durability without reducing the extrusion processability, the steering stability and fuel consumption performance of the obtained tire are still unsatisfactory. There is room for improvement.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition for a base tread having an improved degree of compatibility between rigidity and heat generation, and to provide a tire in which steering stability and fuel efficiency are compatible at a high level.
The present inventor has shown that the rubber composition for base tread has a complex elastic modulus E * (MPa) and loss tangent (tan δ) at 1% elongation at 70 ° C. of formula (1): 150 ≦ E * / tan δ ≦ 250 ( It has been found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by satisfying 1), and the present invention has been completed.

As a rubber composition for a base tread, a complex elastic modulus E * (MPa) and loss tangent (tan δ) at 1% elongation at 70 ° C. satisfy the formula (1): 150 ≦ E * / tan δ ≦ 250 (1) The tread rubber composition has improved rigidity and low heat build-up, and a tire including a base tread composed of the base tread rubber composition has both a high level of driving stability and fuel efficiency. Can do.
In the rubber composition for base tread of the present invention, the relationship between the complex elastic modulus E * (MPa) and loss tangent (tan δ) at 1% elongation at 70 ° C. satisfies the formula (1): 150 ≦ E * / tan δ ≦ 250. It is characterized by satisfying.
In the present specification, E * indicates a dynamic elastic modulus at the time of elongation measured by a viscoelasticity tester under the conditions of a temperature of 70 ° C. and an elongation of 1%. Since the dynamic elastic modulus E * indicates the stress with respect to the periodically applied strain, the larger the value of E *, the better the rubber elasticity, and the rubber physical properties having good followability with other tire members. Represent. Further, tan δ in the present specification indicates a loss tangent at the time of elongation measured by a viscoelastic spectrometer at a temperature of 70 ° C. and 1% elongation. The loss tangent tan δ indicates the amount of energy consumed in the process of applying strain, and this consumed energy is converted into heat. In other words, the smaller the value of tan δ, the better the low heat build-up and the better the fuel efficiency. Moreover, if the value of E * is too large, the damping property tends to decrease and the riding comfort tends to deteriorate, and if the value of tan δ is too small, the damping property tends to decrease and the riding comfort tends to deteriorate. Therefore, the relationship between the complex elastic modulus E * (MPa) and loss tangent (tan δ) at 1% elongation at 70 ° C. of the base tread rubber composition satisfies the formula (1): 150 ≦ E * / tan δ ≦ 250. Thus, it is considered that the rigidity and heat generation performance of the obtained base tread rubber composition can be compatible with each other in a well-balanced manner. A tire including a base tread composed of such a rubber composition for a base tread has good power transmission to the tread rubber and low heat generation, thereby improving driving stability and fuel efficiency. It is considered possible to be compatible with the dimensions.
E * / tan δ in the formula (1) is 150 or more, preferably 160 or more, more preferably 200 or more, and further preferably 220 or more. When E * / tan δ is less than 150, there is a tendency that sufficient steering stability cannot be obtained. Further, E * / tan δ in the formula (1) is 250 or less, preferably 245 or less, and more preferably 240 or less. When E * / tan δ exceeds 250, the damping property of the rubber composition becomes poor, and the ride comfort tends to be remarkably deteriorated, and the heatability of rubber deteriorates, and the workability tends to deteriorate.
The rubber composition for a base tread that satisfies the relationship of complex elastic modulus E * (MPa) and loss tangent (tan δ) at 70% at 1% elongation satisfying the formula (1): 150 ≦ E * / tan δ ≦ 250 is preferably , 30 to 70 parts by mass of at least one reinforcing material selected from carbon black and silica, 100 parts by mass of a rubber component composed of a diene rubber, cashew oil-modified phenol resin, modified resorcin condensate and m-cresol condensation It is a rubber composition for base treads containing 5 to 20 parts by mass of at least one thermosetting resin selected from those and 2 to 8 parts by mass of hexamethoxymethylol melamine pentamethylol ether.
In the rubber composition for base treads, a thermosetting resin is used to increase the rigidity of the compound. A compound such as an amine generated during the curing reaction of the thermosetting resin Is known to reduce the adhesion between rubber and dissimilar materials such as textiles and steel, and it is difficult to add to the rubber composition for base treads used in the peripheral parts of dissimilar members. However, by using hexamethoxymethylol melamine pentamethylol ether or a partial condensate thereof as a curing agent for the thermosetting resin, the generation of compounds such as amines during the reaction is suppressed, and the resin is added with a predetermined amount of reinforcing material. By reinforcing the layer, it is considered that both rigidity and heat generation can be achieved compared to the conventional case.
(Rubber component)
The diene rubber is not particularly limited. For example, natural rubber (NR), butadiene rubber (BR), deproteinized natural rubber (DPNR), high purity natural rubber (HPNR), epoxidized natural rubber ( ENR), isoprene rubber (IR), solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR), emulsion polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (E-SBR), modified styrene butadiene rubber (modified S-SBR, modified E-SBR), high cis 1, Examples include 4-polybutadiene rubber. Of these, NR and BR are preferable from the viewpoints of excellent handling stability, elongation at break and rolling resistance. In addition, these rubber components may be used independently and may use 2 or more types together.
The NR is not particularly limited, and those commonly used in the tire industry can be used. Examples thereof include SIR20, RSS # 3, and TSR20. Further, as the IR, those generally used in the tire industry can be used.
The content in the rubber component in the case of containing NR is preferably 30% by mass or more, more preferably 45% by mass or more, and further preferably 50% by mass or more. By setting the NR content to 30% by mass or more, sufficient durability, elongation at break, and steering stability tend to be obtained. Moreover, 75 mass% or less is preferable, as for content of NR in a rubber component, 70 mass% or less is more preferable, and 65 mass% or less is further more preferable. When the NR content is 75% by mass or less, sufficient crack growth resistance tends to be obtained.
As BR, various BRs such as high-cis 1,4-polybutadiene rubber (high-cis BR), butadiene rubber containing 1,2-syndiotactic polybutadiene crystals (SPB-containing BR), modified butadiene rubber (modified BR), and the like can be used. it can.
The high cis BR is a butadiene rubber having a cis 1,4 bond content of 90% by weight or more. Examples of such high-sis BR include BR1220 manufactured by Nippon Zeon Co., Ltd., BR130B manufactured by Ube Industries, Ltd., and BR150B. By containing the high cis BR, low temperature characteristics and wear resistance can be improved.
The SPB-containing BR is preferably a non-orientated dispersion in which 1,2-syndiotactic polybutadiene crystals (SPB) are not simply dispersed in BR but chemically bonded to BR. When the crystal is chemically bonded to BR and then dispersed, crack generation and propagation tend to be suppressed. Examples of such SPB-containing BR include VCR-303, VCR-412 and VCR-617 manufactured by Ube Industries.
The melting point of SPB is preferably 180 ° C. or higher, and more preferably 190 ° C. or higher. When the melting point of SPB is less than 180 ° C., crystals melt during vulcanization of the tire by pressing, and the hardness tends to decrease. The melting point of SPB is preferably 220 ° C. or lower, and more preferably 210 ° C. or lower. When the melting point of SPB exceeds 220 ° C., the molecular weight of the rubber component (a1) increases, so that dispersibility tends to deteriorate in the rubber composition.
The content of the boiling n-hexane insoluble matter in the SPB-containing BR is preferably 2.5% by mass or more, and more preferably 8% by mass or more. When the content of boiling n-hexane insoluble matter is less than 2.5% by mass, the hardness of the rubber composition tends to be insufficient. Further, the content of the boiling n-hexane insoluble matter is preferably 22% by mass or less, more preferably 20% by mass or less, and further preferably 18% by mass or less. When the content of the boiling n-hexane insoluble matter exceeds 22% by mass, the viscosity of the SPB-containing BR itself is high, and the dispersibility of the SPB-containing BR and the reinforcing filler in the rubber composition tends to deteriorate. Here, the boiling n-hexane insoluble means 1,2-syndiotactic polybutadiene (SPB) in the SPB-containing BR.
The content of SPB in the SPB-containing BR is preferably 2.5% by mass or more, and more preferably 10% by mass or more. By setting the SPB content to 2.5% by mass or more, sufficient hardness tends to be obtained. Moreover, 20 mass% or less is preferable and, as for content of SPB in SPB containing BR, 18 mass% or less is more preferable. When the SPB content is 20% by mass or less, the SPB-containing BR is sufficiently dispersed in the rubber composition, and good extrudability tends to be obtained.
10 mass% or more is preferable and, as for content of SPB containing BR in a rubber component, 15 mass% or more is more preferable. By setting the SPB-containing BR content to 10% by mass or more, there is a tendency that good dispersibility of silica and extrusion processability can be obtained. Moreover, 30 mass% or less is preferable and, as for content of SPB containing BR in a rubber component, 25 mass% or less is more preferable. When the content of the SPB-containing BR is 30% by mass or less, good exothermic property and elongation at break tend to be obtained.
The modified BR is obtained by polymerizing 1,3-butadiene with a lithium initiator and then adding a tin compound. Further, the modified BR molecule has a terminal end bonded with a tin-carbon bond ( Tin-modified BR), butadiene rubber synthesized using a rare earth catalyst (rare earth BR), and butadiene rubber having a condensed alkoxysilane compound at the active terminal of the butadiene rubber (modified BR for silica). Examples of such modified BR include BR1250H (tin modified) manufactured by Nippon Zeon Co., Ltd., S modified polymer (modified for silica) manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., and the like.
Butadiene rubber (rare earth BR) synthesized using a rare earth catalyst has a high cis content and a low vinyl content. As the rare earth BR, a general-purpose product in tire manufacture can be used.
Tin-modified BR is polymerized by a lithium initiator, tin-modified polybutadiene rubber having a tin atom content of 50 to 3000 ppm, a vinyl bond content of 5 to 50% by mass, and a molecular weight distribution (Mw / Mn) of 2 or less. Tin-modified BR). This tin-modified BR is obtained by polymerizing 1,3-butadiene with a lithium initiator and then adding a tin compound. Further, the tin-modified BR is bonded with a tin-carbon bond at the end of the modified BR molecule. Polybutadiene rubber is preferred.

When the anti-aging agent is contained, the content with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is preferably 0.5 parts by mass or more, and more preferably 1 part by mass or more. Moreover, it is preferable that it is 7 mass parts or less with respect to 100 mass parts of rubber components of an anti-aging agent, and it is more preferable that it is 5 mass parts or less.
(Vulcanizing agent)
The vulcanizing agent is not particularly limited, and those generally used in the tire industry can be used.
The content of the vulcanizing agent is preferably 1.8 parts by mass or more and more preferably 2.4 parts by mass or more with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. When the content of the vulcanizing agent is 1.8 parts by mass or more, sufficient hardness tends to be obtained, and further, a jointless band adjacent to the base tread and a rubber composition for cord coating of a steel breaker Therefore, there is a tendency that the vulcanizing agent can be prevented from flowing in, the vulcanizing agent in the cord coating rubber composition being insufficient, and the cord adhesiveness from being deteriorated. Moreover, 3.5 mass parts or less are preferable, and, as for content of a vulcanizing agent, 2.9 mass parts or less are more preferable. By setting the content of the vulcanizing agent to 3.5 parts by mass or less, the vulcanizing agent flows out to the cap tread adjacent to the base tread, and the cap tread is cured, causing tread cracking and groove cracking, and durability. There is a tendency that it is possible to prevent a decrease in rolling resistance and an increase in rolling resistance. When insoluble sulfur is used as the vulcanizing agent, the content of the vulcanizing agent is the pure sulfur content excluding the oil.

These may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Especially, it is preferable to use CBS and DPG in combination from the point that the effect of the present invention can be more suitably obtained.
When the vulcanization accelerator is contained, the content with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is preferably 0.1 parts by mass or more, more preferably 0.3 parts by mass or more, and further preferably 0.5 parts by mass or more. The content of the vulcanization accelerator with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is preferably 8 parts by mass or less, more preferably 7 parts by mass or less, and further preferably 6 parts by mass or less. By setting the content of the vulcanization accelerator within the above range, suitable fracture characteristics can be obtained and the wear resistance tends to be good.
