Claims (42)
- 開口部を定めるガイドと、
前記開口部内に配置された電極であって、ハウジング、第1のばね、及びピンを有し、前記ピンが、前記第1のばねにより前記ハウジングの第1の端部から外方へ付勢されるものである、電極と、
前記ハウジングの第2の端部に隣接して前記開口部の上を覆って配置された第2のばねと、
を備える、電極ユニット。 - 前記電極が第1の電極であり、前記ハウジングが第1のハウジングであり、前記ピンが第1のピンであり、
当該電極ユニットが、前記開口部内に配置された第2の電極をさらに含み、前記第2の電極が、第2のハウジング、第3のばね、及び第2のピンを含み、前記第2のピンが、前記第3のばねにより前記第2のハウジングの第1の端部から外方へ付勢されるものである、請求項1に記載の電極ユニット。 - 前記第1の電極及び前記第2の電極が、前記第1のばね及び前記第3のばねにより独立に調節可能である、請求項2に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記第1の電極及び前記第2の電極が、前記第2のばねにより同時に調節可能である、請求項3に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記ハウジングが、前記第2のばねの小孔を貫通して延びる突起を含み、前記ハウジングが、かしめ又はプレスばめにより前記第2のばねに結合されている、請求項1に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記開口部が第1の開口部であり、
当該電極ユニットが、第2の開口部を有するコネクタをさらに含み、前記ガイドが、前記コネクタの前記第2の開口部内に配置され、締まりばめにより前記コネクタに結合され、前記コネクタが、被験者の頭部上に配置されるバンドに結合されている、請求項1に記載の電極ユニット。 - 前記コネクタが磁石である、請求項6に記載の電極ユニット。
- 当該電極ユニットが、キャビティを定める第3の開口部を有する電極ユニットハウジングをさらに含み、前記コネクタが前記第3の開口部内に配置され、前記コネクタが、前記電極ユニットハウジングの底部に実質的に位置合わせされ、前記ガイド及び前記電極が、前記電極ユニットハウジングの前記底部から延びる、請求項6に記載の電極ユニット。
- 当該電極ユニットが、キャビティを定める第3の開口部を有する電極ユニットハウジングをさらに含み、前記コネクタが前記第3の開口部内に配置され、前記電極が、前記ガイドの前記第1の開口部を貫通して前記電極ユニットハウジングの前記キャビティ内へ可動である、請求項6に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記第2のばねは、前記キャビティ内で前記コネクタ及び前記ガイドの上を覆って配置されている、請求項9に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記電極が前記電極ユニットハウジングの前記キャビティ内へ移動するとき、前記第2のばねの中心は、前記キャビティ内にたわむ、請求項10に記載の電極ユニット。
- 当該電極ユニットが、前記キャビティ内に配置されたプッシャをさらに含み、前記第2のばねの外縁部が、前記プッシャと前記コネクタとの間に結合され、前記プッシャが、前記第3の開口部の反対側の前記電極ユニットハウジングの第4の開口部から前記キャビティ内へ挿入される、請求項11に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記電極ユニットハウジングが、前記開口部内にレッジを含み、前記第2のばねの外縁部が、前記コネクタと前記レッジとの間に結合されている、請求項11に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記第2のばねの外縁部が、前記第2のばねの前記中心が前記キャビティ内へたわんだときに前記コネクタと接触したままである、請求項11に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記第2のばねが、渦巻ばね板である、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の電極ユニット。
- ハウジングの片側の開口部によって定められたキャビティを有するハウジングと、

前記電極は、
前記開口部内に配置されたリングと、
前記リングに結合されたアームと、
を含み、前記アームは、
前記ハウジングから遠ざかる方向に前記開口部から外方へ延びた第1の部分と、
前記第1の部分の端部から前記ハウジングに向かって延びて前記キャビティに入る第2の部分とを有し、前記第1及び第2の部分は、曲がり部で接続される、
電極ユニット。 - 前記アームの前記第1の部分は、前記リングを貫通して、前記ハウジングから遠ざかる方向に前記開口部から外方へ延びる、請求項16に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記アームの前記第2の部分は、前記リングを貫通して前記キャビティの中へ延びる、請求項17に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記キャビティは、前記ハウジング内へ延びたチャネルを含み、前記アームの前記第2の部分は、前記曲がり部に力がかかったときに前記チャネル内へ可動である、請求項16に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記ハウジングを被験者の頭部上に装着されるバンドに結合するための、前記開口部の周りで前記ハウジングに結合したコネクタをさらに含み、前記コネクタは、磁石である、請求項16に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記リングは、前記コネクタと前記ハウジングとの間に結合された、請求項20に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記ハウジングは、ガイドをさらに含み、前記ガイドは、前記電極の前記リングを貫通して延びて、前記電極を前記ハウジング内で位置合わせする、請求項16に記載の電極ユニット。
- 前記リング及び前記アームは一体である、請求項16〜23のいずれかに記載の電極ユニット。
- 請求項16の電極ユニットと、
被験者の頭部上に配置されるバンドと、
を備え、前記バンドは、前記バンドを貫通する小孔を有し、前記電極ユニットは、前記バンドに結合され、前記アームの前記第1の部分は、前記小孔を貫通して延びる、ヘッドセット。 - 前記電極ユニットは、第1のコネクタをさらに含み、前記バンドは、第2のコネクタを含み、前記第1のコネクタは、前記第2のコネクタに取外し可能に結合される、請求項24に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記第1のコネクタは磁石であり、前記第2のコネクタは金属である、請求項25に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記第2のコネクタは、前記小孔の周りに配置された金属リングである、請求項26に記載のヘッドセット。
- キャビティを定めるハウジングと、
前記キャビティの内壁上に配置された導電性ペーストと、
前記キャビティ内に配置され、前記キャビティの内壁から離間した電極と、
を備え、前記電極は、前記キャビティから延び、前記導電性ペーストは、前記電極をノイズから遮蔽するためのものである、電極ユニット。 - 前記電極と前記ハウジングとの間に配置された絶縁体をさらに含む、請求項28に記載の電極ユニット。
- 請求項28の電極ユニットと、
被験者の頭部上に配置されるバンドと、
を備え、前記バンドは、前記バンドを貫通する小孔を有し、前記電極ユニットは、前記バンドに結合され、前記電極は、前記小孔を貫通して延びる、ヘッドセット。 - 前記小孔に隣接して前記バンドに結合されたピンをさらに含み、前記ピンは、前記ハウジングの底部に係合し、前記導電性ペーストが前記ハウジングの前記底部上にさらに配置された、請求項30に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記ピンは、前記被験者の前記頭部上に配置される遮蔽電極に結合される、請求項31に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記ピンは、前記バンド内に配置されたプリント回路基板を介して前記遮蔽電極に結合される、請求項32に記載のヘッドセット。
- ヘッドバンドをさらに含み、前記遮蔽電極は、前記バンドに結合されて前記被験者の前頭に接触する、請求項32に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記電極ユニットは、第1のコネクタをさらに含み、前記バンドは、第2のコネクタをさらに含み、前記第1のコネクタは、前記第2のコネクタに取外し可能に結合される、請求項30〜34に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記第1のコネクタは磁石であり、前記第2のコネクタは金属である、請求項35に記載のヘッドセット。
- 前記第2のコネクタは、前記小孔の周りに配置された金属リングである、請求項36に記載のヘッドセット。
- 下部カバーの上側から下側まで延びた開口部を有する下部カバーと、
前記下部カバーの前記上側に結合された上部カバーであって、前記上部カバーの底部に導電性ペーストが配置された、上部カバーと、
前記下部カバーを貫通して延びたチャネル内に配置されたピンであって、前記上部カバー上の前記導電性ペーストと接触し、且つ前記下部カバーの前記下側から延びた、ピンと、
を備えた、遮蔽ユニット。 - 電極ユニットをさらに含み、前記電極ユニットは、前記下部カバー内の前記開口部内に配置され、前記電極ユニットは、締まりばめにより前記下部カバーに結合される、請求項38に記載の遮蔽ユニット。
- 電極ユニットをさらに含み、前記電極ユニットは、前記下部カバー内の前記開口部内に配置され、前記電極ユニットは、前記下部カバーの前記下側から延びる、請求項38に記載の遮蔽ユニット。
- 請求項38の遮蔽ユニットと、
被験者の頭部上に配置されるバンドと、
を備え、前記バンドは、前記バンドを貫通する小孔を有し、前記遮蔽ユニットは、前記バンドに結合され、電極は、前記小孔を貫通して延びる、
ヘッドセット。 - 前記バンドは、前記小孔に隣接した電気パッドを含み、前記ピンは、前記電気パッドに係合し、前記電気パッドは、前記被験者の前記頭部に配置される遮蔽電極に電気的に結合され、前記ピンは、前記バンド内に配置されたプリント回路基板を介して前記遮蔽電極に電気的に結合される、請求項41に記載のヘッドセット。
