Abstract
Description
本出願は、2013年6月27日に出願された米国仮出願第61/840,145号について米国特許法第119(e)条に基づく利益を主張し、その内容全体が参照によって本明細書に援用される。
1.気嚢は、風化、腐食、及び摩損による使用中の強度の劣化又は喪失に対して保護されなければならない。
2. 気嚢は、応力を決定する際に含めなければならない、すべての飛行及び地上条件、並びに局所的な空気動力学的圧力に対する限界設計荷重を支えながら加圧されるとして設計されなければならない。
3.気嚢の布地の極限強度は、最大設計内部圧力と最大荷重とが組み合わさったものによって決定される限界荷重の4倍を下回ってはならない。
4.胴体などの構成部品を支えるための内部又は外部懸架システム、或いは内部及び外部の両方の懸架システムは、すべての飛行条件に対して、生じた荷重を気嚢に均一に伝達させ、分布させるように設計しなければならない。
Claims (16)
- 静水力学的浮力を与えることができる第一の揚力装置であって、外部及び内部を有する気嚢を有し、前記内部が、乗り物に排除浮力を与えることができる気体を保持するように構成された第一の揚力装置と、
動きによって動的揚力を与えることができる第二の揚力装置と、
前記第二の揚力装置に結合された、推力を発生するように構成されたシステムとを有する乗り物であって、
前記第二の揚力装置及び前記推力発生システムが、前記乗り物の長手方向軸の側方にある軸の周りに回転することができ、
客室が、前記気嚢の前記外部にのみ取り付けられ、前記第二の揚力装置が、前記客室にのみ取り付けられている、乗り物。 - 前記第二の揚力装置が、前記客室の両側の第一及び第二の側に第一及び第二の翼を備え、前記第一及び第二の翼がそれぞれ、それらに結合された推力発生装置を有し、前記第一及び第二の翼のそれぞれ一方が、前記第一及び第二の翼の他方とは独立して前記側方にある軸の周りに個々に回転するように、かつ、少なくとも90度から180度以下の範囲の角度で回転するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の乗り物。
- 前記客室が胴体を備え、前記第二の揚力装置が、前記胴体から前記気嚢の長手方向軸の側方に延在する第一及び第二の翼を有している、請求項2に記載の乗り物。
- 前記第一及び第二の翼が前進翼になるように構成されている、請求項3に記載の乗り物。
- 各推力発生装置が、各翼に搭載され、前記翼が前記側方にある軸の周りに回転するときに前記翼と共に動くように構成されたプロペラを有している、請求項3に記載の乗り物。
- 前記胴体から前記第一の翼と同じ方向に延在するように取り付けられた第三の翼、及び前記第二の翼の方向と同じ方向に延在するように前記胴体に取り付けられた第四の翼を更に有している、請求項3に記載の乗り物。
- 前記第三及び第四の翼が前記第一及び第二の翼と同一平面上にあり、前記第三及び第四の翼がそれぞれ、それらに結合された推力発生装置を含んでいる、請求項6に記載の乗り物。
- 前記胴体が乗客を収容することができる、請求項3に記載の乗り物。
- 前記胴体が貨物を収容するように構成されている、請求項3に記載の乗り物。
- 内部及び外部を有し、静水力学的浮力を与えるように構成された第一の揚力装置と、
乗客及び貨物を収容するように構成され、前記第一の揚力装置の前記外部にのみ取り付けられた胴体と、
前記胴体にのみ結合され、空気中の動きによって動的揚力を与えるように構成された第二の揚力装置と、
推力を発生するように構成され、前記第二の揚力装置に結合された推力発生システムとを有している、航空旅行用のハイブリッドVTOL機。 - 前記第二の揚力装置及び前記推力発生システムが、前記胴体の長手方向軸の側方にある軸の周りに最大で180度まで一緒に回転するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の乗り物。
- 前記第二の揚力装置が、前記胴体の両側の第一及び第二の側に第一及び第二の揚力発生翼を備え、前記第一及び第二の翼がそれぞれ、それらに搭載された推力発生装置を有し、前記第一及び第二の翼のそれぞれ一方が、前記一及び第二の翼の他方とは独立して前記側方にある軸の周りに個々に回転するように構成されている、請求項11に記載の乗り物。
- 各推力発生装置がエンジンによって駆動されるプロペラを備え、前記エンジンが、各翼に搭載されており、前記翼が前記側方にある軸の周りに回転するときに前記翼と共に動くように構成されている、請求項12に記載の乗り物。
- 前記第一の揚力装置が気嚢を有し、前記気嚢の内部が、前記乗り物に排除浮力を与えるように構成された気体を保持するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の乗り物。
- 前記第一及び第二の翼が前進翼になるように構成されている、請求項12に記載の乗り物。
- 各翼が、少なくとも90度から180度以下の範囲で回転するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の乗り物。
