Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a positioning technique for positioning a mobile object using a GPS signal received from a GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite.
In positioning using GPS signals, for example, positioning of the host vehicle is performed using direct waves of GPS signals received from three or more GPS satellites. Under an ideal environment, positioning using the GPS signal can be performed with the expected accuracy. On the other hand, in environments where multipaths may occur (for example, roads with dense buildings, roads with many trees, bridges, expressways, or near transmission towers) The positioning using the GPS signal is a positioning using GPS signals obtained from a plurality of reception paths, and there is a problem that the positioning accuracy deteriorates.
In order to solve this problem, a technique for reducing multipath is conventionally used. For example, in the positioning system disclosed in Patent Document 1, a positioning device that measures the current position generates temporary coordinate information indicating temporary coordinates of the current position, and the server device uses the temporary coordinate information to map around the temporary coordinates. Generate information. Next, the server device generates sky satellite information indicating GPS satellites, and generates multipath satellite information indicating GPS satellites that cannot be observed based on the generated sky satellite information and map information around the temporary coordinates, Feedback to the positioning device. The positioning device performs positioning by excluding GPS satellites that cannot be observed based on the multipath satellite information.
In Patent Document 1 described above, when the positioning device receives a GPS signal from a multipath satellite, when the reception strength of the received signal is low, or when the number of received GPS signals is small, the positioning device generates the positioning signal. There may be an error in the temporary coordinate information. As a result, there is a problem that an unobservable GPS satellite is identified based on information including an error and fed back to the terminal device.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to suppress feedback of GPS satellite information specified based on information including errors to a positioning device. .
A positioning device according to the present invention includes a positioning information acquisition unit that acquires the signal strength of a GPS signal received by a GPS receiver mounted on a mobile body that is a positioning target, and satellite position information that indicates the position of a GPS satellite from the GPS signal. A satellite position information acquisition unit to be acquired, a position calculation unit that calculates the current position of the moving object from the signal strength of the GPS signal acquired by the positioning information acquisition unit and the satellite position information acquired by the satellite position information acquisition unit The position calculation unit does not generate a multipath at the multipath generation assumed point based on information received in the past by a plurality of GPS receivers when the multipath generation assumed point exists on the guide route of the moving body. Is used to calculate the current position of the mobile object.
According to the present invention, it is possible to suppress feedback of GPS satellite information specified based on information including an error to the positioning device.
Embodiment 1 FIG.
An overview of the positioning system according to Embodiment 1 will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an outline of the positioning system according to the first embodiment.
The positioning system according to Embodiment 1 is a system that measures the current position of a moving body using a GPS signal received by a GPS receiver mounted on the moving body such as the host vehicle. In FIG. 1, a point A through which a mobile object that is a positioning target, for example, a vehicle (not shown) passes is shown. Point A is a point between which the first building B and the second building C are sandwiched and the occurrence of multipath is a concern.
FIG. 1 shows a case where the point A is sandwiched only between the first building B and the second building C for convenience of explanation. However, actually, there are a plurality of buildings other than the first building B and the second building C on both sides of the road where the point A is located. That is, in FIG. 1, there are a plurality of buildings on the depth side of the first building B and on the front side of the page, and a plurality of buildings on the depth side of the second building C and the front side of the page. To do. Due to the presence of the first building B, the second building C, and other plurality of buildings, there is a concern about the occurrence of multipath at the point A. In the following, a case where only the relationship between the point A and the first building B and the second building C is considered will be described.
When the host vehicle passes through the point A, the GPS receiver cannot receive the first signal Da from the first GPS satellite D by the direct wave Da1 because the first building B is blocked. The first signal Da becomes the reflected wave Da2 reflected by the second building C. If the GPS receiver receives the reflected wave Da2 and the positioning system uses the reflected wave Da2 for the positioning calculation, it causes a positional shift of the positioning result. On the other hand, the GPS receiver directly transmits the second signal Ea, the third signal Fa, and the fourth signal Ga from the second GPS satellite E, the third GPS satellite F, and the fourth GPS satellite G with a direct wave. Can be received.
Since the GPS satellites always revolve around the earth, the first GPS satellite D to the fourth GPS satellite G move, for example, in the direction of arrow X shown in FIG. 1 as time elapses. Thereby, at the point A, the GPS receiver can receive the first signal Da from the first GPS satellite D by a direct wave, for example, and the fourth signal Ga of the fourth GPS satellite G is the first building. It is predicted to receive with the reflected wave reflected by B.
In the positioning system according to the first embodiment using such a movement of the GPS satellite and the characteristics of the GPS signal received by the GPS receiver, positioning devices mounted on many vehicles passing through the point A are GPS. The satellite information is collected and transmitted to the server device. The server device uses the transmitted GPS satellite information to identify a GPS satellite that does not generate a multipath at point A and provides it to the positioning device. A positioning device for a vehicle that will pass the point A from now on uses the GPS signal received from a GPS satellite that has been identified as not generating multipath, to determine the current position of the vehicle.

Next, the operation of the positioning system will be described.
First, processing when the positioning system averages satellite information will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 5 is a sequence diagram showing the averaging process of the satellite information of the GPS satellites by the positioning system according to the first embodiment.
When the vehicle traveling on the road passes the assumed multipath occurrence point (step ST1), the positioning

Next, a description will be given of a determination process of each GPS satellite at the multipath occurrence assumed point by the positioning system.
FIG. 6 is a sequence diagram showing determination processing for each GPS satellite by the positioning system according to the first embodiment.
The
The
The satellite
The satellite
Based on the determination result of step ST20, the multipath
Next, a description will be given of processing in which the
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing the operation of the
The positioning
As described above, according to the first embodiment, the positioning
Further, according to the first embodiment, the satellite
For example, even if the GPS signal acquired by a positioning device mounted on a single mobile object is inaccurate information, the influence of inaccurate information can be reduced by averaging using a large number of information. Can be suppressed. Here, the inaccurate information is, for example, a case where the position of the GPS satellite is shifted, which is clearly lower in reception intensity than the GPS signal received from the positioning device of another moving body.
In addition, the wiring environment around the receiving antenna of the GPS receiver, the difference in the structure of the moving body, or the deterioration of the cable affects the reception of GPS signals. The effect of filling is obtained.
Further, according to the first embodiment, the position information of GPS satellites and the signal strength of GPS signals input from a plurality of
In addition, it is possible to determine at a high speed whether or not a multipath occurs at each GPS satellite at a multipath generation assumed point, and before the determination process is completed, the mobile object to be positioned becomes a multipath. It is possible to suppress the occurrence of a time lag that passes through the estimated occurrence point. In addition, when it is determined that there is a multipath occurrence assumed point in the guidance route of the positioning target mobile body, it is possible to start a process for determining whether a multipath is generated in each GPS satellite at the multipath occurrence assumed point. And the occurrence of the time lag described above can be suppressed. As a result, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a problem that the positioning process excluding the satellite where the multipath is generated cannot be realized at the multipath generation assumed point.
Further, according to the first embodiment, the satellite
In the first embodiment described above, the case where the multipath occurrence assumed points are accumulated in the route
In addition, a multipath occurrence assumption point is set in the
