Abstract
Description
頂面及び底面を有する光学コアであって、
底面よりも頂面近くに位置する少なくとも1つのスキン層を有する反射−吸収型偏光子を含み、少なくとも1つのスキン層が偏光染料を含む、光学コアと、
光学コアの底面上に直接配置された四分の一波長板とを含み、
光学コアの外側に偏光選択性素子を含まない、光学積層体。
複数の交互にある第1及び第2のポリマー層を含み、交互にある第1及び第2のポリマー層のそれぞれが、偏光染料を実質的に含まない、反射性偏光子部と、
複数の交互にある第3及び第4のポリマー層を含むハイブリッド偏光子部とを含み、
第3のポリマー層が、第4の層よりも高い屈折率を有し、
第3のポリマー層が、偏光染料を含み、
反射性偏光子部及びハイブリッド偏光子部が、互いに隣接して配置される、項目1に記載の光学積層体。
Claims (20)
- 頂面及び底面を有する光学コアであって、
前記底面よりも前記頂面近くに位置する少なくとも1つのスキン層を有する反射−吸収型偏光子を含み、前記少なくとも1つのスキン層が偏光染料を含む、光学コアと、
前記光学コアの前記底面上に直接配置された四分の一波長板とを含み、
前記光学コアの外側に偏光選択性素子を含まない光学積層体。 - 前記光学コアの全体が延伸されて一緒にされている、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記光学コア全体が共押出しされた、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記反射−吸収型偏光子が、前記頂面よりも前記底面近くに位置する第2のスキン層を含む、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記頂面よりも前記底面近くに位置する拡散反射型偏光層を含む、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記拡散反射型偏光層が第1のポリマー及び第2のポリマーを含み、前記第1のポリマーと前記第2のポリマーとが不混和性である、請求項5に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記第1のポリマー及び前記第2のポリマーのうちの少なくとも一方が複屈折性ポリマーである、請求項6に記載の光学積層体。
- 少なくとも1つの保護層を更に含むが、前記光学コア内には含まない、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記少なくとも1つの保護層が拡散面構造を含む、請求項8に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記少なくとも1つの保護層がバルク拡散体を含む、請求項8に記載の光学積層体。
- 少なくとも2つの保護層を更に含むが、前記光学コア内には含まない、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記光学コアが、四分の一波長板と合わせて100マイクロメートル以下の総厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 100マイクロメートル以下の総厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 少なくとも1つの光源及び請求項1に記載の光学積層体を含み、前記光学積層体が、前記光学コアの前記底面が前記頂面よりも前記少なくとも1つの光源近くに位置するよう配置された、発光ディスプレイ。
- 光学的に透明な接着剤の層及びライナーを更に含み、前記光学的に透明な接着剤が、前記ライナーと前記光学積層体のその他の部分との間に配置される、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 請求項15に記載の光学積層体を含む、フィルムのロール。
- 前記光学コアの前記頂面上に配置されたバルク拡散体を更に含む、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記光学コアの前記頂面上に配置された表面拡散体を更に含む、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記反射−吸収型偏光子が、複数の交互にある第1及び第2のポリマー層を含み、前記第1のポリマー層が、前記第2のポリマー層よりも高い屈折率を有し、前記第1のポリマー層が、偏光染料を含む、請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
- 前記反射−吸収型偏光子が、
複数の交互にある第1及び第2のポリマー層を含み、前記交互にある第1及び第2のポリマー層のそれぞれが、偏光染料を実質的に含まない、反射性偏光子部、並びに
複数の交互にある第3及び第4のポリマー層を含むハイブリッド偏光子部を含み、
前記第3のポリマー層が、前記第4の層よりも高い屈折率を有し、
前記第3のポリマー層が、偏光染料を含み、
前記反射性偏光子部及び前記ハイブリッド偏光子部が、互いに隣接して配置される請求項1に記載の光学積層体。
