Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an LED lighting device and an LED lighting device using the LED lighting device.
However, according to the above configuration, a voltage detection circuit for detecting the voltage across the output capacitor or a current detection circuit for detecting the charging current of the output capacitor is required separately from the configuration of the load output control. In particular, in recent years, a configuration that does not have the voltage detection circuit as described above is becoming widespread in order to simplify the circuit. Therefore, a configuration applicable to an LED lighting device that does not have a voltage detection circuit that detects the voltage across the output capacitor or a current detection circuit that detects the charging current of the output capacitor with respect to the determination of the capacity decrease of the output capacitor is desired. .
Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the LED lighting device which can determine the capacity | capacitance fall of an output capacitor with a simple structure, and an LED lighting apparatus using the same.
The LED lighting device of the present invention has a switching power supply circuit that has an output capacitor composed of a switching element and an electrolytic capacitor connected to an output end, and supplies a direct current to the LED, and detects a direct current to generate a current detection value A current detection resistor that performs, a drive control circuit that PWM-drives the switching element based on the current detection value, a mode determination unit that determines application of the maintenance mode according to a predetermined input, and the maintenance mode A control unit including a capacity determination unit that outputs a notification signal when it is determined that the capacity of the output capacitor has decreased based on a ripple of a current detection value during lighting of the LED, and a notification that performs a notification operation when a notification signal is received A part.
According to the above configuration, in the maintenance mode, the capacity determination unit determines a decrease in the capacity of the output capacitor based on the ripple of the current detection value used for the PWM drive of the switching power supply circuit, and the notification unit when the capacity decrease is determined Therefore, the LED lighting device capable of determining the decrease in the capacity of the output capacitor with a simple configuration is realized.
In the LED lighting device according to the first aspect, the mode determination unit includes an input voltage detection unit that detects an input voltage of the switching power supply circuit, and an input voltage that determines application of the maintenance mode when the input voltage has a predetermined change. A determination unit is provided. Thus, the user can easily apply the maintenance mode by turning on / off the AC power supply that supplies the input voltage, and the ease of applying the maintenance mode of the LED lighting device is improved.
In the LED lighting device of the second mode, the mode determination unit includes a communication unit that receives an illumination control signal from an external communication device and determines application of the maintenance mode based on the illumination control signal. Thus, the maintenance mode can be applied from the external communication device, and the ease of applying the maintenance mode of the LED lighting device is improved.
Here, it is preferable that the illumination control signal conforms to DALI or DMX512. Thereby, the versatility of the LED lighting device is improved.
In the LED lighting device according to the third aspect, the mode determination unit includes a timing generation unit that applies the maintenance mode at a preset timing. As a result, even when the user has forgotten the capacity lowering determination work, the capacity reduction of the output capacitor is notified at an appropriate timing, and the user can respond in a timely manner.
In the LED lighting device of the fourth aspect, the control unit sets the PWM drive on-time and off-time in advance in the drive control circuit during the maintenance mode period from the start of application of the maintenance mode to the end of the determination of capacity reduction. And further including a drive fixing portion for fixing to the head. As a result, the maintenance mode is always executed by PWM driving with the same on-time and off-time, so that it is possible to accurately determine the capacity reduction even if the PWM operation state during normal lighting changes.
Here, the drive fixing unit may be configured to cause the drive control circuit to perform the PWM drive in the discontinuous mode during the maintenance mode period. This increases the peak current for the same average current and increases the amplitude of the ripple, facilitating measurements on the ripple.
In the LED lighting device according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, the capacity determination unit may determine whether the maximum ripple value exceeds the upper limit threshold, the minimum ripple value falls below the lower limit threshold, or the ripple amplitude. Is configured to output a notification signal when a predetermined threshold is exceeded. This reliably identifies an increase in ripple associated with a decrease in the capacitance of the output capacitor.
In the LED lighting device according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, the control unit and the notification unit may be configured to maintain the notification operation without executing the maintenance mode after the notification signal is output. Good. Thereby, a user can recognize a capacity | capacitance fall state reliably, and the continuation of use of the LED lighting device in a capacity fall state is avoided.
In the LED lighting device according to any one of the first to fourth embodiments, the control unit stops the PWM drive when the cumulative operation time of the switching power supply circuit after the notification signal is output reaches a predetermined time. May be configured. This reliably avoids a situation where the user continues to use the LED lighting device in a capacity-decreasing state.
The LED lighting device of the present invention includes any one of the above LED lighting devices and LEDs. As a result, an LED lighting device with high maintainability that can recognize the replacement timing of the LED lighting device is realized.
<First Embodiment>
FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of an
The
The switching
The
The
The
The
The
It is preferable from the viewpoint of reducing power consumption that the microcomputer of the
The
For example, FIG. 2 shows an output current (LED current) of the switching
Separately from the notification signal, the difference (Ith2-Ir2) between the maximum value Ir2 acquired and calculated by the
The
When the
When the
Note that the capacitance of the electrolytic capacitor (that is, the output capacitor 24) once reduced does not recover during use. Therefore, after the notification signal is output, the
Further, when the accumulated operation time of the switching
As described above, the
As described above, in the maintenance mode, when the
In particular, according to the present embodiment, the
<Second Embodiment>
In the first embodiment, the configuration in which the maintenance mode is applied by a predetermined on / off operation of the AC power supply AC is shown. However, in the present embodiment, the configuration in which the maintenance mode is applied by an illumination control signal from the outside. Indicates.
FIG. 3 shows a block diagram of the
照明制御信号は、DALI(Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)、DMX512又は適宜の無線通信規格に準拠した信号であればよい。
The
When the illumination control signal is a DALI signal, the
The
When the
When the illumination control signal is a DMX512 signal, up to 512
In addition, when a DALI signal or DMX512 signal is used as the illumination control signal, a dimming function that is the original purpose of these signals may be introduced. In this case, the

<Third Embodiment>
In the first and second embodiments, the configuration in which the maintenance mode is executed in response to a user operation is shown. In the present embodiment, the configuration in which the maintenance mode is executed at a predetermined timing set in advance is shown. .
In FIG. 5, the block diagram of the
The
For example, the
In addition, the
Note that the capacity reduction determination in the present embodiment does not reflect the intention of the user's active determination. Therefore, when the

<Fourth Embodiment>
In the first to third embodiments, regarding the operation of the
FIG. 6 is a block diagram of the
The
In general, if the current target value in constant current control is a fixed value, the PWM parameter should theoretically always be constant. However, in practice, the PWM parameter changes due to changes in the characteristics of the
Specifically, the
In addition, regarding the output current (LED current) by PWM drive, if the average current is the same, the current peak is higher in the discontinuous mode with a pause period than in the continuous mode or critical mode where the current of the
