Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tire rubber composition and a pneumatic tire.
In recent years, due to increasing interest in environmental issues, there has been a strong demand for lower fuel consumption for automobiles, and rubber compositions used for automobile tires are also required to have excellent fuel efficiency. .
As a method for improving fuel economy, for example, a method of reducing the amount of reinforcing filler is known. However, in this method, wet grip performance and wear resistance are reduced due to a decrease in heat generation amount and reinforcing property of the rubber composition. Tend to get worse. Thus, these performances generally have a contradiction with low fuel consumption, and it is difficult to obtain each performance in a well-balanced manner.
The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and provides a rubber composition for a tire having improved fuel economy, wet grip performance and wear resistance in a well-balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire produced using the rubber composition. Objective.
The present invention includes a styrene butadiene rubber and a styrene resin, and the styrene butadiene rubber has an average molecular weight of 450,000 or more and an average styrene amount of 30.0% by mass or more, and the content of the styrene butadiene rubber / the styrene. The present invention relates to a tire rubber composition in which the content of the resin is 20.0 or less.
It is preferable that the content of silica with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is 60 to 150 parts by mass.
The content of carbon black with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component is preferably 15 parts by mass or less.
The present invention also relates to a pneumatic tire produced using the rubber composition.
According to the present invention, the styrene butadiene rubber includes a styrene butadiene rubber and a styrene resin, and the styrene butadiene rubber has an average molecular weight of 450,000 or more and an average styrene amount of 30.0% by mass or more. Since the rubber composition for tires has a styrene-based resin content of 20.0 or less, fuel economy, wet grip performance, and wear resistance are improved in a well-balanced manner.
The rubber composition for tires of the present invention contains styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) having a predetermined average molecular weight and an average styrene amount and a styrene resin in a predetermined ratio.
The rubber composition has the above-mentioned effects, which are presumed to be achieved by the following effects.
By using SBR having a predetermined average molecular weight and styrene amount as a rubber component and blending the SBR and the styrene resin at a predetermined ratio, the compatibility of the SBR and the styrene resin is improved. It is considered that the performance balance between grip performance and wear resistance is remarkably improved (synergistically).
Furthermore, (1) 60 to 150 parts by mass of silica as a filler improves wet grip performance while maintaining other performances. (2) Carbon black content is 15 parts by mass or less. (3) By using a specific silane coupling agent such as 3-octanoylthio-1-propyltriethoxysilane as the silane coupling agent, the other fuel efficiency is improved while maintaining other performances. While maintaining the performance, the effect of improving fuel economy and wet grip performance can also be obtained. Therefore, it is considered that the performance balance is improved more remarkably (synergistically) by further applying at least one of the methods (1) to (3).
The SBR contained in the rubber composition has an average molecular weight of 450,000 or more. The average molecular weight is preferably 500,000 or more, more preferably 530,000 or more, from the viewpoint of the performance balance. Although an upper limit is not specifically limited, From a viewpoint of the said performance balance similarly, 1.2 million or less is preferable, 900,000 or less is more preferable, and 800,000 or less is still more preferable.
Here, the average molecular weight of SBR (average molecular weight of all SBR) is Σ (content ratio of each SBR in all SBR × weight average molecular weight of each SBR), and the content ratio of each SBR is the respective ratio in all SBR. In the case of a rubber component comprising SBR (A) 70 mass%, SBR (B) 10 mass%, NR 10 mass%, BR 10 mass%, SBR (A), (B ) Content ratio of 0.875 (= 70 / (70 + 10)) and 0.125 (= 10 / (70 + 10)) Therefore, for example, the rubber component is SBR (A) (styrene content 35% by mass, Mw 650,000) 70% by mass, SBR (B) (styrene content 40% by mass, Mw 950,000) 10% by mass, NR 10% by mass, BR 10% by mass, the average molecular weight of SBR is 68.750,000 (687,500) = 0.875 x 650,000 + 0.125 x 950,000).

Although an upper limit is not specifically limited, Similarly, from a viewpoint of the said performance balance, 45.0 mass% or less is preferable, 40.0 mass% or less is more preferable, and 38.0 mass% or less is still more preferable.
Here, the average styrene amount of SBR is {Σ (content ratio of each SBR in all SBR × styrene amount of each SBR × weight average molecular weight of each SBR)} / average molecular weight of all SBRs. For example, SBR (A) (styrene content 35% by mass, Mw 650,000) 70% by mass, SBR (B) (styrene content 40% by mass, Mw 950,000) 10% by mass, NR 10% by mass, BR 10% by mass, average The amount of styrene is 35.86% by mass (= {70 / (70 + 10) × 35 × 650,000 + 10 / (70 + 10) × 40 × 950,000} /68.750,000).
Regarding the content ratio of SBR and styrene resin contained in the rubber composition, the content of styrene butadiene rubber / the content (mass ratio) of the styrene resin is 20.0 or less. “Styrene butadiene rubber content / styrene resin content” is preferably 19.0 or less, and more preferably 18.5 or less, from the viewpoint of the performance balance. Although a minimum is not specifically limited, From a viewpoint of the said performance balance similarly, 1.5 or more are preferable, 2.5 or more are more preferable, and 3.0 or more are still more preferable.
Here, the content of SBR / the content of styrene resin is a mass ratio of the total amount of SBR and the total amount of styrene resin contained in the rubber composition, respectively, for example, rubber component (70 parts by mass of SBR (A)) , SBR (B) 10 parts by mass, NR 10 parts by mass, BR 10 parts by mass), styrene resin (A) 5 parts by mass, styrene resin (B) 5 parts by mass, The “content / content of styrene resin” is 8.0 (= (70 + 10) / (5 + 5)).

N-Hexane, styrene, butadiene, and tetramethylethylenediamine were added to a pressure vessel sufficiently substituted with nitrogen, and the temperature was raised to 40 ° C. Next, after adding butyl lithium, the temperature was raised to 50 ° C. and stirred. Next, a silicon tetrachloride / hexane solution was added and stirred. Next, the terminal modifier was added and stirred. After adding methanol in which 2,6-tert-butyl-p-cresol was dissolved to the reaction solution, the reaction solution was put into a stainless steel container containing methanol to collect aggregates. The obtained aggregate was dried under reduced pressure for 24 hours to obtain modified SBR2. The obtained modified SBR2 had a styrene content of 40% by mass, a vinyl content of 30% by mass, and a weight average molecular weight Mw of 950,000.

(Production Example 3)
A nitrogen-substituted autoclave reactor was charged with cyclohexane, tetrahydrofuran, styrene, and 1,3-butadiene. After adjusting the temperature of the reactor contents to 20 ° C., n-butyllithium was added to initiate polymerization. Polymerization was performed under adiabatic conditions, and the maximum temperature reached 85 ° C. When the polymerization conversion rate reached 99%, butadiene was added, and after further polymerizing for 5 minutes, methyltriethoxysilane was added as a modifier to carry out the reaction. After completion of the polymerization reaction, 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol was added. Next, the solvent was removed by steam stripping, and drying was performed with a hot roll adjusted to 110 ° C. to obtain modified SBR3. The obtained modified SBR3 had a styrene content of 10% by mass, a vinyl content of 40% by mass, and a weight average molecular weight Mw of 200,000.
