Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an injector that injects fuel into a combustion chamber or an intake port of an engine, and particularly relates to an injector that suppresses temperature changes of members constituting the actuator.
A direct-injection gasoline engine for automobiles is an actuator having an electromagnet or the like that holds a fuel supplied from a high-pressure pump in a state where pressure is accumulated in a nozzle and has a valve body that closes a nozzle hole when non-injecting. An injector (fuel injection valve) that performs fuel injection by driving in the opening direction is provided.
Conventionally, it has been proposed to provide a heat insulating structure such as a vacuum layer around an injector for various purposes.
As a conventional technique related to heat insulation of an injector, Patent Document 1 describes that a heat insulation layer made of a liquid, gas, vacuum, or the like having a low thermal conductivity is provided on all or part of the surface of an electromagnetic fuel injection valve.
In Patent Document 2, at least a part of a wall surrounding the fuel injection valve is a double wall having a gap, and the gap is communicated with a part that generates a negative pressure by operating the engine, thereby enclosing the negative pressure. It is described that a heat insulation effect and a soundproof effect are obtained.
Depending on the operating cycle of the engine, the injector receives various heat and cooling.
During the operation of the engine, the tip portion of the direct injection injector is heated by being exposed to high-temperature combustion gas, while being cooled by a cooling water passage formed in the cylinder head.
In addition, the actuator portion exposed to the outside from the normal cylinder head is strongly affected by the outside air temperature, and is cooled to a considerably low temperature particularly in a cold region.
On the other hand, in the case of an injector using an electromagnet device having a coil and a core (armature) as an actuator for driving a needle, components such as the core are exposed to a large temperature change in consideration of performance, durability, and the like. That is not preferable.
On the other hand, when the surface of the injector is covered with a heat insulating layer such as a vacuum layer over a wide range as in the prior art, the cooling of the nozzle or the like that originally needs to be cooled is hindered, and overheating of the components and internal fuel Problem arises.
In view of the above-described problems, an object of the present invention is to provide an injector that suppresses temperature changes of members constituting an actuator.
The present invention solves the above-described problems by the following means.
The invention according to claim 1 includes a nozzle that holds the fuel in a pressure-accumulated state and has an injection hole at the tip and is inserted into an opening formed in the attachment target member, and is provided inside the nozzle during non-injection. A needle having a valve body that closes the nozzle hole, an actuator that is provided on the opposite side of the nozzle from the nozzle hole side, and that drives the needle in a direction in which the valve body is opened during injection; and An injector comprising a housing that is housed and connected to the nozzle, wherein the housing is distributed in a circumferential direction with respect to a central axis of the nozzle in a part of the housing where heat from the nozzle is conducted to the actuator In this injector, a vacuum layer is provided.
According to this, the member constituting the actuator is heated at a high temperature by blocking heat conducted from the attachment target member such as the cylinder head to the actuator side through the nozzle by the vacuum layer provided in the housing that accommodates the actuator. It is difficult to be affected by the heat of the combustion gas, etc., and exposure to a large temperature change can be prevented.
In addition, the fuel stored around the actuator can be kept warm even when the engine is stopped, and the startability of the engine at a low temperature can be improved.
On the other hand, cooling of the nozzle or the like by the coolant flow path or the like in the attachment target member is not hindered, and sufficient cooling performance can be ensured.
Furthermore, it is possible to suppress the noise generated by the driving of the actuator from being radiated to the outside or propagating to the attachment target member side via the nozzle, thereby improving the quietness of the engine.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the actuator includes a coil and a core that drives the needle by a magnetic force generated by the coil, and the vacuum layer is provided around at least one of the core and the coil. The injector according to claim 1.
According to this, it is possible to keep the core, the coil and the like that are not preferably exposed to a large temperature change, suppress the temperature change, and ensure the performance and reliability of the electromagnet actuator.
In addition, it is possible to suppress noise generated when the core (armature) is attracted to the coil side and collides with other parts when the valve is opened.
The invention according to claim 3 is the injector according to claim 1, wherein the vacuum layer is provided in a region adjacent to the surface of the attachment target member in the housing.
According to this, for example, the transfer of heat between the surface of a member to be attached such as a cylinder head and the actuator and the actuator is suppressed, and the temperature of the component parts of the actuator, the fuel stored in the inside, etc. is maintained to suppress the temperature change. be able to.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide an injector that suppresses temperature changes of members constituting the actuator.
