Description

The present invention relates to a filter device for providing clean air.

In order to take clean air into offices and manufacturing factories of general buildings, air conditioning equipment is equipped with a filter to remove airborne particles. In the filter, a pre-filter, a medium performance filter, and a HEPA filter are usually installed in order from the upstream side of air in a duct called a filter casing. Once installed, the filter casing is rarely replaced or repaired and is used for a long period of time.

Patent Document 1 describes a filter holding device in which a rail is disposed in a filter casing, a door on the side of the casing is opened, and the filter is held by the rail. The pre-filter used in this filter holding device usually has a width that is narrower than the width of the rail. Thereby, the upper end part and lower end part of a pre filter can be inserted and hold | maintained in a rail.

On the other hand, in order to reduce the pressure loss of the filter in order to save energy while maintaining the collection efficiency of airborne particles in the atmosphere, it is effective to increase the area of the filter medium. For this purpose, for example, a medium performance filter or a HEPA filter may be used instead of a normal prefilter, but the thickness of the filter increases. Moreover, since there is no pressing mechanism (for example, cam mechanism etc.) provided in the attachment part of a medium performance filter or a HEPA filter in a filter attachment part, there also exists a problem that the air containing a floating particle leaks from the side of a filter.
However, a filter having a thickness larger than that of the existing filter cannot be mounted on the filter mounting portion.

A filter device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 shows a filter casing 100. As shown in the figure, a filter casing 100 is provided in a duct 101 from an upstream side to a downstream side of air from an air inlet 102, mainly a filter mounting portion 103 for a prefilter, mainly for medium performance filters and HEPA filters. The filter mounting portions 104 and 105 and the fan box 106 are arranged in this order. The fan box 106 accommodates a fan inside. The medium performance filter mounting portion 104 and the HEPA filter mounting portion 105 have cam mechanisms 107a and 107b (pressing mechanisms) for pressing the medium performance filter and the HEPA filter against the mounting openings.
1 is an example of the filter casing, and there are various types of positions of the filter and the fan box, the type of the pressing mechanism, and the position and shape of the air inlet.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2A, the filter attachment portion 103 to which the pre-filter is mainly attached has a filter attachment opening 2 (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as an opening 2). Is provided with an upper rail 3 including a horizontal portion 3a and a hanging portion 3b depending from the tip of the horizontal portion 3a. A lower rail 4 for prefilter including a horizontal portion 4a and a rising portion 4b rising from the tip of the horizontal portion 4a is provided below the opening 2.
Although only one opening 2 may be provided, a plurality of openings 2 may be arranged in parallel as shown in FIG. 2B (for example, three horizontal rows). In this case, the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4 are preferably extended across the plurality of openings 2.

As shown in FIG. 3, the pre-filter 5 is usually attached to the filter attachment portion 103. That is, the upper and lower portions of the filter frame 51 of the pre-filter 5 are inserted and held in the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively. Therefore, the thickness of the prefilter 5 is smaller than the width w of the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4.

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the filter 1 having a thickness larger than that of the pre-filter 5 can be attached to such a filter attachment portion 103. The filter 1 having a thickness larger than that of the prefilter 5 is not particularly limited as long as the filter thickness is desired to be larger than that of the prefilter. For example, a medium performance filter, a HEPA filter, a ULPA filter, a chemical filter Etc. By using such a filter 1, the area of the filter medium is larger than that of the pre-filter 5, so that it is possible to reduce pressure loss or add functions such as gas removal without impairing the collection efficiency. it can.

Specifically, the filter 1 has a U-shaped upper locking member 6 projecting upward on the upper surface of the filter frame 11 containing the filter medium 22, and a U-shaped lower locking member 7 on the lower surface of the filter frame 11. It protrudes downward. Here, the width of the upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 is smaller than the width w of the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively.
Therefore, the upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 can be mounted in the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively, so that the filter 1 having a thickness larger than that of the prefilter 5 is positioned at the position of the filter mounting opening 2. Can be held in.
When the filter 1 is in use, air flows in the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 4, and the wind pressure causes the filter 1 to have its peripheral edge pressed against the peripheral wall of the opening 2, thereby maintaining the sealing performance. At that time, if necessary, an elastic gasket may be interposed between the peripheral edge of the filter 1 and the peripheral wall of the opening 2, and it is more preferable to include a pressing mechanism described later.

The upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 can be attached to the filter frame 11 of the filter 1 with, for example, rivets, screws, adhesives, or the like. Further, the lengths of the upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 may be equal to the width of the filter 1, or may be shorter or longer than that. There is no particular limitation.
An insect screen 8 may be interposed between the filter 1 and the opening 2. Thereby, the invasion of insects can be prevented. The insect screen 8 may be attached to the filter 1 in advance.

Next, a method for attaching the filter 1 will be described. FIG. 5 shows an example of a method for attaching the filter 1. The attachment method shown in FIG. 5 is called the “Kandon type”. As shown by an arrow a, the filter 1 is inclined, the upper locking member 6 is inserted into the upper rail 3, and then the arrow b shows. Thus, the filter 1 is disposed in the opening 2 and the lower locking member 7 is dropped into the lower rail 4 and attached. The Kendon type is a method that can be used when an operator enters the filter casing 100 to perform work such as replacement of the filter 1.

In order to facilitate the insertion of the upper locking member 6 into the upper rail 3, the upper locking member 6 may have a gap c between the surface of the filter 1. . For the same reason, the height h1 of the upper locking member 6 is preferably equal to or longer than the height h2 of the lower locking member 7.
On the other hand, in the conventional filter, as shown in FIG. 6A, a filter 110 having a flange 111 on the outer peripheral edge of the front surface is known. This filter 110 is formed in the filter mounting opening 2 as shown in FIG. It is fitted from the leeward side. If such a filter 110 is to be attached in a fast manner as shown in FIG. 5, the upper flange 111 hits the peripheral edge of the opening 2 and cannot be inserted into the upper rail 3 as shown in FIG. 6B. If the upper rail 3 is widened or the flange 111 ′ having a reduced thickness is used, it can be inserted into the upper rail 3, but the gap G between the flange 111 and the peripheral edge of the opening 2 becomes larger, and the windward side Only wind power from (noted by arrows) cannot seal the opening 2 and may cause air leakage.

FIG. 7 shows an example of a method for attaching the horizontally pulling (sliding) filter 1. As shown in FIG. 7, in the horizontal pulling type, the casing 10 has a door 10 on the side of the duct, and a plurality of openings 2 for attaching the filter are arranged in parallel in the duct. A lower rail 4 is provided (see FIG. 2B).
The plurality of filters 1 are connected to each other by a connector 9, and when the opening 2 is mounted, the door 10 is opened and the plurality of filters 1 are sequentially inserted into the duct. At that time, the upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 provided above and below the filter 1 are inserted into the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively, and slide along the rails 3 and 4. Located on the front.
In the case of the horizontal pulling type, it is not necessary to provide the gap c as in the above-described Kendon type, but it may be provided. In the horizontal pulling type, the height h1 of the upper locking member 6 and the height h2 of the lower locking member 7 may be different or the same.

The upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 provided above and below the filter 1 according to the present invention are not limited to the U-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. 4, and various shapes are possible. For example, the locking members 6 'and 7' having an L-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. Shape). FIG. 8B shows an example of mounting in a steadily manner. Since others are the same as that of embodiment shown in FIGS. 1-7, the same code is attached and description is abbreviate | omitted.
Furthermore, a rod-like upper locking member 61 and lower locking member 71 as shown in FIG. 9A can also be employed. The bar-like upper locking member 61 and the lower locking member 71 are only required to be provided at least one at both ends in the width direction of the upper surface and the lower surface of the filter frame 11, respectively. As shown in FIG. In any of the above-described and lateral pulling types, the filter 1 can be fixed by inserting the bar-like upper locking member 61 and the lower locking member 71 into the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively. Here, the rod shape means, for example, a rod-like object having a shape of a cylinder or a polygonal column (a quadrangular prism, a triangular prism, etc.), and the rod-like object may have a notch, and the filter 1 is attached by the noodle type or the filter As long as it does not become an obstacle of one slide, there may be a bent part or a folded part.
Further, the upper locking members 6, 6 ′, 61 and the lower locking members 7, 7 ′, 71 may have the same shape or different dimensions.

In the case of the horizontal pulling (sliding) type, in consideration of the contact when the filter 1 is slid and the convenience of attaching the locking member to the filter frame 11, the L shape or the U shape is preferable, but there is no particular limitation. The upper locking member 6 and the lower locking member 7 are attached to the filter frame 11 by rivets, screws, adhesives, or the like. This filter 1 can be attached to the opening 2 in the same manner as described above, either in the form of a quick or horizontal pull.

Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 10A and 10B. 10A and 10B show the upper pressing mechanism 12 and the lower pressing mechanism 12 'of the filter in the filter device according to the present embodiment, respectively. That is, the pre-filter 5 as shown in FIG. 3 is usually 20 mm in thickness, whereas the upper and lower rails 3 and 4 are about 25 mm in width, so the filter shape, wind speed conditions, etc. May cause air leakage from the gap between the filter and the opening. In addition, the filter mounting portion having no pressing mechanism such as a rotating cam on the filter casing side is not limited to the wall surface of the peripheral edge of the elastic member and the opening 2 even if the elastic member for sealing is attached to the front surface of the filter in both the horizontal pulling type and the tempering type. Since it cannot be installed unless the filter is moved in contact with the elastic member, the elastic member may be peeled off. Therefore, the filter device according to the present embodiment includes an upper pressing mechanism 12 and a lower pressing mechanism 12 ′ that press the filter 1 against the periphery of the opening 2 in order to suppress air leakage. Hereinafter, the upper pressing mechanism 12 and the lower pressing mechanism 12 ′ will be described.

The filter device shown in FIGS. 10A and 10B has an upper rail 3 and a lower rail 4 at the upper and lower portions of the opening 2, respectively.
The filter 1 to be used is the same as the filter 1 in the above-described embodiment, and has a thickness larger than the width of the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4. An elastic member 13 such as rubber is attached to the front surface of the filter 1. The elastic member 13 has, for example, a square shape and abuts on the periphery of the opening 2.

On the upper and lower surfaces of the filter frame 11 of the filter 1, an upper locking member 14 and a lower locking member 14 ′ made of L-shaped material are fixed with rivets, screws, adhesives, etc., and protrude upward and downward. Yes. A through screw hole 15 is formed in the rising portion 14a of the upper locking member 14 and the drooping portion 14b of the lower locking member 14 ', and a screw material 16 is screwed into the through screw hole. The hanging portion 14 b of the lower locking member 14 ′ has a lower end surface in contact with the lower rail 4, thereby supporting the filter 1.
The screw material 16 is movably inserted into the screw insertion hole 17a of the movable plate 17. In the upper part of the filter 1, as shown in FIG. 10A, the movable plate 17 is on the opening 2 side from the hanging part 3 b of the upper rail 3, and the rising part 14 a of the upper locking member 14 and the hanging part 3 b of the upper rail 3. Located between and. The movable plate 17 has a nut 18 screwed to the screw member 16 and fixed by an adhesive or the like on the opening 2 side.
Also in the lower part of the filter 1, as shown in FIG. 10B, the movable plate 17 is on the opening 2 side from the rising part 4b of the lower rail 4, and the rising part 14a of the lower locking member 14 and the rising part of the lower rail 4 4b. The movable plate 17 has a nut 18 screwed to the screw member 16 and fixed by an adhesive or the like on the opening 2 side.

Since it comprised as mentioned above, the screw material 16 can be rotated, and the screw material 16 can be advanced or retracted with respect to the rising portion 14a of the upper locking member 14 and the rising portion 14a of the lower locking member 14, respectively. . For this reason, the screw member 16 is retracted and the movable plate 17 is pressed against the drooping portion 3b of the upper rail 3 and the rising portion 4b of the lower rail 4, whereby the elastic member 13 on the front surface of the filter 1 is moved to the peripheral portion 21 of the opening 2. Can be crimped to. As a result, air that does not pass through the filter 1 can be prevented from leaking from the opening 2.
On the other hand, when replacing the filter, the thread material 16 may be advanced to release the pressure.

The pressing mechanism 12 may be provided at one place or a plurality of places on the upper rail 3 and the lower rail 4, respectively. Further, instead of the elastic member 13 or together with the elastic member 13, an insect net may be arranged in the opening 2.

11A and 11B show an upper pressing mechanism 121 and a lower pressing mechanism 121 ′ of the filter 1 in still another embodiment, respectively.
The pressing mechanisms 121, 121 ′ include an upper locking member 141 projecting upward from the upper surface of the filter frame 11 and a lower locking member 141 ′ projecting downward from the upper side of the upper rail 3 (on the opening 2 side). On the opposite side). The screw member 16 is screwed into the through screw hole 15 provided in the rising portion 141a of the upper locking member 141 and the hanging portion 141b of the lower locking member 141 ′, and the movable plate 17 is located behind (opening 2 side). Is located.
In addition, as shown in FIG. 11B, a support member 23 is provided between the lower surface of the filter frame 11 and the lower locking member 141 ′ in order to support the filter 1. The support member 23 can be formed of, for example, a plate-like body, and is preferably fixed to either the lower surface of the filter frame 11 or the lower locking member 141 ′.
The other parts are the same as those of the embodiment of FIGS. 10A and 10B, and thus the same components as those of FIGS. 10A and 10B are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.

The pressing mechanism in the present invention is not limited to the one shown in FIGS. 10A, 10B, 11A, and 11B, as long as it can press the filter 1 against the peripheral edge of the filter mounting opening 2. Either can be adopted. For example, a rotating cam mechanism as shown in FIGS. 12A and 12B may be employed as the pressing mechanism.
12A and 12B show the upper rotating cam mechanism 122 and the lower rotating cam mechanism 122 'of the filter 1, respectively.

The upper rotary cam mechanism 122 has a pair of support plates 19 disposed on the upper surface of the filter frame 11 so as to be separated from each other in the width direction of the filter frame 11, and the rotation shaft 20 is inserted and supported through a through hole provided in the support plate 19. Let The rotary shaft 20 has a substantially L-shaped cam plate 24 fixed between a pair of support plates 19. A hole 23 into which a jig (not shown) such as a driver for rotating the rotary shaft 20 is inserted is formed in one or both end faces of the rotary shaft 20.
Further, the lower rotating cam mechanism 122 ′ is configured in the same manner, but the support plate 19 ′ is different from the upper rotating cam mechanism 122 in that it also supports the filter 1.

Therefore, when the jig is inserted into the hole 23 and the rotary shaft 20 is rotated, the cam plate 24 is also rotated and pressed against the inner surfaces of the drooping portion 3b of the upper rail 3 and the rising portion 4b of the lower rail 4, respectively. It can be pressed against the peripheral edge of the filter mounting opening 2.
Further, instead of the elastic member 13 or together with the elastic member 13, an insect net may be arranged in the opening 2.
The other parts are the same as those of the embodiment of FIGS. 10A and 10B, and thus the same components as those of FIGS. 10A and 10B are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.
The filter device of the present invention can be attached not only to a device having a pressing mechanism for pressing the filter against the filter mounting opening but also to a device having no pressing mechanism.

Yet another preferred example of the filter device having the pressing mechanism is shown in FIG. FIGS. 13A to 13C show a procedure for attaching the filter 1 by the kindon type. As shown in FIG. 13A, the filter 1 of this example includes a U-shaped upper locking member 6 and a lower locking member 72 having a tapered portion T at the lower portion. An elastic member 13 such as rubber is attached to the front surface of the filter 1. First, as shown in FIG. 13A, the filter 1 is attached after the upper locking member 6 is inserted into the upper rail 3 and then the filter 1 is moved toward the lower rail 4 as shown in FIG. 13B. By rotating, the lower locking member 72 is inserted into the lower rail 4 beyond the rising portion 4b of the lower rail 4, and then the filter 1 is dropped into the lower rail 4 as shown in FIG. 13 (c). Then, the installation is completed.
At this time, the lower end portion of the lower locking member 72 on the upstream side of the air is formed with a tapered portion T having a downward slope so as to move away from the filter frame on the bottom surface of the filter 1 from the rear end portion on the upstream side of the air. Therefore, the lower locking member 72 can be easily inserted into the lower rail 4 beyond the rising portion 4 b of the lower rail 4.

As shown in FIG. 14, the length L1 from the front surface of the filter 1 (that is, the end surface of the elastic member 13 such as rubber) to the rear end portion 74 of the lower locking member 72 rises from the mounting surface of the lower rail 4. It is desirable that the length is larger than the length L2 to the inner surface of the portion 4b (that is, L1> L2) and the difference is smaller than the thickness t of the elastic member 13 (that is, L1−L2 <t). Thus, the lower locking member 72 cannot be inserted into the lower rail 4 unless the elastic member 13 is compressed somewhat. As a result, as shown in FIG. 13 (b), the lower locking member 72 is accommodated in the lower rail 4 beyond the rising portion 4b of the lower rail 4, and the filter 1 is moved as shown in FIG. 13 (c). In the state of being dropped into the lower rail 4, the rear end portion 74 extending upward from the taper portion T of the lower locking member 72 is in pressure contact with the rising portion 4 b of the lower rail 4 to compress the elastic member 13 to compress the lower locking member. 72 is pressed against the peripheral edge of the opening 2. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a gap that causes air leakage between the peripheral edge portion of the opening 2 and the filter 1.
The ratio of the length difference (L1-L2) to the thickness t (percentage of (L1-L2) / t) is 10 to 40%, preferably 10 to 30%.

As shown in FIGS. 15A and 15B, the lower locking member 72 is obtained by providing tapered portions T at both ends of a long plate material and bending both ends at about 90 ° with a fold line 75. The upper locking member 6 is not limited to a U shape, and any member such as an L shape or a bar can be used.
In FIG. 15, the angle α between the taper portion T and the rear end portion 74 is 100 to 170 °, preferably 120 to 160 °. Further, the length h5 of the rear end portion 74 shown in FIG. 13A is a ratio (percentage of h5 / h6) to the total height h6 of the lower locking member 72, 0 to 90%, preferably 10 to 80%. More preferably, it is 10 to 70%.

The lower locking member 72 is not limited to the one shown in FIG. 13, and various shapes as shown in FIGS. 16 (a) to 16 (d) can be adopted. 16 (a) is a cylindrical lower locking member 76 that is bent or hollow molded, FIG. 16 (b) is a lower locking member 77 that is bent into a substantially letter shape, and FIG. 16 (c) is bent into a substantially F shape. The processed lower locking member 78 (in this case, h5 / h6 is 0). FIG. 4D is a cylindrical lower locking member that is bent or hollow molded with the entire bottom surface tapered. 79. Each has a tapered portion T.

In the above embodiment, the elastic member 13 is attached to the front surface of the filter 1, but the elastic member 13 may be attached to the periphery of the opening 2, or may be attached to both.
In the above embodiment, the case where a filter having a thickness larger than that of the prefilter is mainly attached to the filter attachment portion for attaching the prefilter has been described. However, the filter attachment portion for attaching a filter other than the prefilter is mainly described. The present invention can also be applied to a case where a filter having a thickness larger than that of the filter is attached.

Next, the filter device of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples.

Figure 2018089620

y=38.4x−28.7
Example 1
The attachment position of the upper locking member was confirmed using the filter device shown in FIG. That is, in a state where the filter 1 having the L-shaped upper locking member 6 ′ and the lower locking member 7 ′ is pressed against the periphery of the opening 2, the drooping portion 3 b of the upper rail 3 and the L-shaped upper locking member 6. ′ Was measured, and the ratio (percentage of m / n) to the length n of the inner peripheral surface of the horizontal portion 3a of the upper rail 3 was determined.
Next, the filter was moved to the upstream side of the wind, and the L-shaped upper locking member 6 ′ was brought into contact with the hanging portion 3 b of the upper rail 3 (the same applies to the lower rail 7 ′). At this time, a gap equal to the gap m is formed between the opening 2 and the front surface of the filter.
In this state, the wind is made to flow in the direction of the arrow at the wind speed shown in Table 1, and the filter 1 is moved to the downstream side of the wind by the wind pressure, so that there is no gap, and there is no air leakage between the opening 2 and the filter 1. (M / n) was confirmed. The results are shown in Table 1.
Figure 2018089620

From Table 1, it was recognized that the proportional relationship represented by the following equation was established between the wind speed and the gap (m / n).
y = 38.4x-28.7
Here, y indicates a gap (m / n), and x indicates a wind speed.
The above formula is based on one experimental example and does not limit the present invention.

(Example 2)
The gap c for installing the filter was determined in a fast manner. That is, it was confirmed that there was no problem in mounting the filter 1 by the size of the gap c when the outer dimension L of the U-shaped upper locking member 6 shown in FIG. 18 was changed. The gap p between the hanging portion 3b of the upper rail 3 and the upper locking member 6 is constant. The gap c was expressed as a ratio (percentage of c / n) to the inner dimension n of the horizontal portion 3a of the upper rail 3. Others are the same as in the first embodiment.
As a result, when c / n was 0% (that is, when the gap c was 0 mm), the filter 1 could not be inserted into the upper rail 3, but c / n was 1.8% and 3.6%. In some cases, the filter 1 could be inserted into the upper rail 3. In particular, it was confirmed that insertion was easy when c / n was 3.6%.

(Example 3)
As shown in FIG. 19, when the tapered portion T is provided in the lower locking member 72 and the angle α between the tapered portion T and the rear end portion 74 is set to 135 °, the rising portion of the drooping portion 74 and the lower rail 4. The overlap length e with 4b was examined. Others are the same as in the first embodiment.
That is, when the filter 1 is installed when the ratio of the overlapping length e to the height H from the upper surface of the horizontal portion 4a of the rising portion 4b of the lower rail 4 (percentage of e / H) is 17% and 25%. The press mechanism of the lower locking member 72 acts, and it is possible to improve the formation of a gap at the periphery of the opening, and it is particularly preferably 25% or more.

The filter device according to the embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above.
