Hereinafter, an X-ray CT apparatus will be described as an example of the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment. In the following, CT image data will be described as an example of a medical image according to the embodiment.
(First embodiment)
First, an example of the X-ray CT apparatus according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of an X-ray CT apparatus according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The rotating
The X-ray irradiation control circuit 111 controls a high voltage generator (not shown) to supply a high voltage to the
The
The
The
The gantry driving circuit 118 rotates the
The
The
The
The
The input circuit 131 includes a mouse, a keyboard, a trackball, a switch, a button, a joystick, a touch panel, and the like that are used by the operator of the
The
The
The
また、逆投影処理としては、例えば、FBP(Filtered Back Projection)法による逆投影処理が挙げられる。
The
Here, in the
In FIG. 1, a
The term “processor” used in the above description is, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit), a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), a programmable logic device (for example, It means circuits such as a simple programmable logic device (SPLD), a complex programmable logic device (CPLD), and a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The processor implements a function by reading and executing the program stored in the
The configuration of the
First, the
Next, the
And after acquiring CT image data, the
The
First, the
Then, the
Next, the
Further, the
In addition, when the detection likelihood and detection ratio of an anatomical feature point are high, the extracted area | region is clear as an image, and represents that the position of the feature point was able to be specified easily. On the other hand, when the detection likelihood and the detection ratio are low, the position of the feature point cannot be easily identified due to various factors such as low image quality of the extracted region, low contrast, and poor granularity. It represents that. Therefore, evaluation as an image used for inspection is possible based on the detection likelihood and detection ratio of the feature points.
In addition, the
The evaluation value calculated for each target region by the
Here, the imaging conditions include, for example, tube voltage, tube current, exposure time, imaging region, correction processing algorithm used during imaging, imaging device, and the like. Among imaging conditions, tube voltage, tube current, and exposure time are X-ray conditions used when collecting CT projection data. The imaging region is, for example, a region intended for inspection. In addition, the correction processing algorithm used at the time of imaging is, for example, controlling the
The image processing protocol is, for example, a reconstruction condition, a reconstruction algorithm, an image filter, or the like. Among the image processing protocols, the reconstruction condition is, for example, a reconstruction function or a reconstruction thickness (slice thickness) used when reconstructing CT image data. The reconstruction algorithm is a reconstruction method such as FBP method or IR method. An image filter is a type of filter used to reduce various artifacts (for example, metal artifacts).
As described above, an evaluation value is calculated for the CT image data collected from the subject P, and the calculated evaluation value is stored in the
When a plurality of target parts are included in the CT image data, an evaluation value is calculated for each target part, and each of the calculated evaluation values is stored in association with an examination protocol. As an example, when the CT image data collected using a predetermined examination protocol (for example, protocol A) includes “lung” and “heart”, the
In addition, when CT image data is collected a plurality of times using the same examination protocol, an area corresponding to the target part is extracted from each of the collected CT image data, and calculation is performed for each extracted area. Each of the evaluated values is stored in association with the inspection protocol. As an example, first, CT image data of the subject P1 and CT image data of the subject P2 are collected using a predetermined examination protocol (for example, protocol B). The subject P1 and the subject P2 are examples of the subject P shown in FIG. Next, the
As described above, the
First, the
For example, the operator inputs a predetermined search condition via the input circuit 131 based on the content of the examination to be performed. As an example, when the part to be examined is “head”, the operator inputs “the target part is the head” as a predetermined search condition. For example, when high-quality CT image data is necessary for inspection purposes, the operator inputs that “SD value is 40 or less” as a predetermined search condition. The
The
Here, a display example of the evaluation value and the inspection protocol will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a display example of evaluation values and inspection protocols according to the first embodiment. For example, when “SD value is 40 or less” and “target part is head” are input as the predetermined search conditions, the
Note that “display the evaluation value” means that, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, a specific value of the evaluation value (SD value) is displayed, or the evaluation value is calculated for any target part. It means that it is displayed. “Displaying an inspection protocol” means, for example, displaying an “inspection protocol name” or displaying part or all of the contents of an inspection protocol, as shown in FIG. Note that “tube voltage” and “tube current” in FIG. 2 are examples of the contents of the inspection protocol.
The “inspection protocol name” is a name given for each content of the inspection protocol. For example, in FIG. 2, the name of the inspection protocol whose “tube voltage” is “XXX”, “tube current” is “xxx” is “protocol C”, and “tube voltage” is “YYY”, The name of the inspection protocol whose “tube current” is “yyy” is “protocol D”, the tube voltage is “ZZZ”, and the name of the inspection protocol whose “tube current” is “zzz” is “protocol E”. "
In FIG. 2, the
The order in which the evaluation value and the inspection protocol are displayed can be arbitrarily changed. For example, the
The list shown in FIG. 2 is referred to by an operator, and is used, for example, for setting an inspection protocol used in an inspection to be performed in the future. For example, the evaluation value displayed in FIG. 2 is calculated for the part “head” to be tested, and satisfies the image quality requirement. That is, if an inspection is executed using the inspection protocol displayed in FIG. 2, CT image data having a required image quality can be acquired for the “head”. The operator selects an inspection protocol determined to be particularly suitable from the inspection protocols in FIG. 2 while referring to the SD value, tube voltage, and tube current values.
For example, the operator selects protocol C as the inspection protocol having the best SD value from the inspection protocols in FIG. Further, for example, when the tube current “xxx” in FIG. 2 is larger than the tube current “yyy”, the operator may use the protocol C, so that the SD value may be “20”. However, it is determined that the image quality obtained by Protocol D is similar, and Protocol D is selected as an inspection protocol that can reduce the exposure dose.

Next, the association between the evaluation value and the inspection protocol according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is a flowchart for explaining a series of flows for associating evaluation values and inspection protocols according to the first embodiment. Here, FIG. 4 shows processing corresponding to step S102 of FIG. In FIG. 4, step S201 and step S202 are steps corresponding to the

Next, display of evaluation values and inspection protocols according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 5 is a flowchart for explaining a series of flows of display of evaluation values and inspection protocols according to the first embodiment. Here, FIG. 5 shows a process corresponding to step S103 of FIG. In FIG. 5, step S301 is a step corresponding to the
First, the
As described above, according to the first embodiment, the
Further, according to the first embodiment, the
Further, according to the first embodiment, the
Further, according to the first embodiment, the

ここで、被ばくの程度を表す指標値とは、例えば、CTDI(Computed Tomography Dose Index)Volや、DLP(Dose Length Product)などである。
The
Further, the
Next, the
For example, the operator inputs a predetermined search condition based on the contents of the examination to be performed. For example, when it is necessary to limit the exposure dose in the examination, the operator inputs “CTDI Vol (mGy) is 50 or less” as a predetermined search condition. For example, when the time required for reconfiguration is limited, the operator inputs “reconfiguration time (sec) is 300 or less” as a predetermined search condition.

Further, for example, when only a search condition related to patient information is input as a predetermined search condition, the
The
For example, “SD value is 40 or less”, “CTDI Vol (mGy) is 50 or less”, and “reconfiguration time (sec) is 300 or less” are input as predetermined search conditions. In this case, the
In FIG. 6, only the evaluation value, the inspection protocol, the index value indicating the degree of exposure, and the reconstruction time are displayed among various pieces of information acquired by the
In FIG. 6, the name of the examination protocol whose “contrast medium amount (ml)” is “40” is “protocol F”, and the examination protocol whose “contrast medium quantity (ml)” is “30”. Examination with name “Protocol G”, “Contrast Medium Amount (ml)” “20”, Exam Protocol Name “Protocol H”, “Contrast Medium Amount (ml)” “10” The name of the protocol is “Protocol I”. In FIG. 6, the
The display order can be arbitrarily changed. For example, the
The list shown in FIG. 6 is referred to by the operator, and is used, for example, for setting an inspection protocol used in an inspection to be performed in the future. For example, in the examination to be performed, the exposure due to imaging is “CTDI Vol (mGy) is 50 or less”, “the reconstruction time (sec) is 300 or less”, and “SD value of CT image data is In the case where “40 or less” is required, any of the inspection protocols displayed in FIG. 6 satisfies the request. The operator selects “SD value”, “CTDI Vol (mGy)”, “DLP (mGy · cm)”, “reconstruction time (sec)”, “contrast agent amount (ml) from the inspection protocol of FIG. ) ”, And the inspection protocol determined to be particularly suitable is selected.
For example, the operator selects the protocol F as the inspection protocol having the best SD value from the inspection protocols in FIG. Further, for example, the operator determines that sufficient image quality can be obtained with any of the inspection protocols in FIG. 6, and selects the protocol G in order to further reduce the exposure dose. For example, the operator selects the protocol H in order to acquire CT image data more quickly. Further, for example, the operator selects the protocol I in order to further reduce the amount of contrast agent to be used according to the state of the subject in the examination to be performed (for example, kidney function).
Furthermore, the
When displaying the CT image data, the
The
Then, the
As described above, according to the second embodiment, the
Further, according to the second embodiment, the
Further, according to the second embodiment, the
According to the second embodiment, the
In the second embodiment described above, the
(Third embodiment)
In the above-described embodiment, a case has been described in which input of a predetermined search condition is received and an evaluation value or the like that satisfies the input search condition is displayed as a list. In contrast, in the third embodiment, a case will be described in which selection of an inspection protocol is received and a plurality of evaluation values related to the selected inspection protocol are displayed in a graph. The
First, the
Next, the
Then, the
When a plurality of target parts are included in one CT image data, a plurality of evaluation values (SD values) are calculated from one CT image data. In this case, the “number of images” may be the number of CT image data, or the number of calculated evaluation values (the number of target parts). That is, the “number of images” may match the number of CT image data, or may match the number of evaluation values. In the following description, it is assumed that the “number of images” matches the calculated number of evaluation values.
For example, the
Next, the
As shown in FIG. 7, the
The graph shown in FIG. 7 may be displayed instead of the list of FIG. 2 displayed on the
Next, another example of graph display of evaluation values according to the third embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating a display example according to the third embodiment. As illustrated in FIG. 8, the
First, the
For example, the
Next, the
Then, as shown in FIG. 8, the
Next, an example of a processing procedure performed by the
First, the
Here, the
Then, the
As described above, according to the third embodiment, the
In the above-described embodiment, the case where the inspection protocol is selected from a plurality of inspection protocols displayed in a list in association with the evaluation value as illustrated in FIG. 2 has been described. However, the embodiment is not limited thereto. It is not something. For example, the
(Fourth embodiment)
The first to third embodiments have been described so far, but may be implemented in various different forms other than the above-described embodiments.
In the embodiment described above, the case where the region corresponding to the target region is extracted from the CT image data (volume data) and the evaluation value of the extracted region is calculated has been described. However, the embodiment is not limited to this. Instead, for example, the evaluation value may be calculated for two-dimensional image data generated by various rendering processes from CT image data. For example, the
Here, when there are a plurality of two-dimensional image data generated from the CT image data, the
例えば、実施形態に係る医用画像診断装置は、X線診断装置や、超音波診断装置、MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging)装置、SPECT(Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography)装置、PET(Positron Emission computed Tomography)装置、SPECT装置とX線CT装置とが一体化されたSPECT−CT装置、PET装置とX線CT装置とが一体化されたPET−CT装置等であってもよい。 Moreover, although embodiment mentioned above demonstrated the case where a medical image diagnostic apparatus was an X-ray CT apparatus, embodiment is not limited to this. For example, the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment includes an X-ray diagnostic apparatus, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus, a SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) apparatus, a PET (Positron Emission computed Tomography) apparatus, A SPECT-CT apparatus in which a SPECT apparatus and an X-ray CT apparatus are integrated, a PET-CT apparatus in which a PET apparatus and an X-ray CT apparatus are integrated, or the like may be used.
For example, when the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, first, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus extracts a region corresponding to the target part from the acquired ultrasonic image data. Next, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus calculates an evaluation value of the extracted region, and stores the calculated evaluation value and the examination protocol used for collecting the ultrasonic image data in association with each other. Then, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus displays a list in which the evaluation value and the inspection protocol are associated with each other, or displays the evaluation value in a graph for each inspection protocol.
When the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, the examination protocol includes, for example, a filter pass band, sound speed, speed range, gain, color gain, frame rate, ultrasonic frequency, Ultrasound phase (0 ° to 360 °), sound pressure, depth of field, depth of focus, angle of view, scan line density (number of scan lines in a region of interest (ROI), or scan line in the field of view) Number), dynamic range, steering angle (scan line angle), rotation angle of the operation surface (0 ° to 180 ° or 0 ° to 360 °), and the like. Here, the pass band of the filter is set as a certain frequency range for the purpose of removing noise, for example. The sound speed is a speed (sound speed value) set as the average sound speed of the body tissue of the subject to be imaged. The speed range is a value that determines which range of speeds to observe in the Doppler mode. For example, a maximum speed and a minimum speed are set. The gain and color gain are values that determine the brightness and color of the entire image.
For example, when the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment is a PET apparatus, first, the PET apparatus extracts a region corresponding to the target site from the acquired PET image. Here, the PET image is a functional image generated by collecting data on a pair annihilation event from a subject to which a drug labeled with a positron emitting nuclide is administered, and reconstructing the collected data. Usually, since the amount of the medicine to be accumulated differs depending on the part of the subject, the PET apparatus can extract the region corresponding to the target part based on the degree of the medicine accumulation at each position of the obtained PET image. . For example, the PET apparatus can extract a region corresponding to a brain or a bladder in which drugs are easily collected from a PET image. Next, the PET apparatus calculates an evaluation value of the extracted area, and stores the calculated evaluation value and the examination protocol used for collecting the PET images in association with each other. Then, the PET apparatus displays a list in which the evaluation value and the inspection protocol are associated with each other, or displays the evaluation value in a graph for each inspection protocol.
In the above-described embodiment, the index value indicating the degree of exposure, the reconstruction time, the patient information, and the CT image data have been described as examples of information stored in association with the evaluation value and the examination protocol. Is not limited to this. For example, in the case where the medical image diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment is an MRI apparatus, the MRI apparatus is used for collecting evaluation values calculated for a region corresponding to a target part in an MR image and MR images. In addition, noise (the magnitude of noise during imaging), reconstruction time, patient information, MR images, and the like are stored in association with the examination protocol.
