Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a container.
For example, as a fuel tank mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile or a tank used for storage or transportation of natural gas or hydrogen gas, the thermoplastic resin is made into a cylindrical container shape because of its excellent light weight and strength. A pressure vessel in which a molded liner is reinforced with a fiber reinforced resin layer is used.
Large resin containers such as pressure vessel liners are usually formed by direct blow molding. The fiber reinforced resin layer is formed by laminating a long reinforcing fiber bundle impregnated with a thermosetting resin on the outside of a liner by a filament winding method (hereinafter referred to as FW method) and curing the bundle. As the reinforcing fiber, glass fiber, carbon fiber, or the like is used. Among them, carbon fiber is suitably used for a natural gas storage tank because it has a high specific strength and is easy to reduce the weight of the pressure vessel.
As a liner for a pressure vessel, polyethylene is widely used because of its excellent gas barrier property. However, since polyethylene has low heat resistance, if a single-layer liner made of polyethylene is used, the pressure resistance of the container is reduced by melting the polyethylene crystals upon curing during the formation of the fiber-reinforced resin layer.
Patent Document 1 proposes a container having a fiber reinforced resin layer on the outside of a two-layer liner composed of a polyethylene layer and a polyamide layer as a pressure container having excellent strength. In addition, a container having a fiber reinforced resin layer on the outside of a two-layer liner of a polyethylene layer and a vinyl chloride layer, a polyester layer and a polyamide layer, or a polyethylene layer and a polyamide layer has been proposed as one having excellent gas barrier properties.
However, in a multilayer liner having a polyamide layer or a polyester layer, the thickness tends to be non-uniform, and when the resin stays in the extruder during molding, gels and blisters occur, or the resin is thermally deteriorated. The moldability is poor.

It does not specifically limit as a metal which comprises a nozzle | cap | die, A well-known metal can be used. For example, aluminum alloy, stainless steel (SUS), carbon steel, alloy steel, brass, etc. are mentioned.
(Production method)
As a method for producing the container of the present invention, it is preferable to use a direct blow molding method. Specifically, it is preferable to produce a container having an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer layer by a direct blow molding method using a polyethylene resin (A), a polyolefin resin (B), and a polypropylene resin.
When the container of the present invention includes an outer shell on the outer side of the outer layer, a method for forming the outer shell is not particularly limited, and a known method can be employed. For example, a reinforced fiber base material in which reinforcing fibers are arranged and a matrix resin impregnated are wound around the outside of the container body (liner) by the FW method, tape winding method, etc., and the outer shell is subjected to a curing reaction as necessary. The method of forming is mentioned. When the container of the present invention is provided with a base, the outer shell is formed in a state where the base is arranged at the upper end of the container body, and the base is closely fixed so as to be sandwiched between the container body and the outer shell.
The winding method such as the FW method and the tape winding method for forming the outer shell is not particularly limited. For lamination, helical winding, hoop winding, label winding, etc. are used, and these may be combined.
As described above, in a container having a container body (liner) made of a single layer of conventional polyethylene, since the heat resistance of the container body is insufficient, for example, at the time of curing when forming an outer shell with a fiber reinforced resin material The rigidity of the polyethylene may decrease due to, for example, crystal melting of polyethylene, and it may be deformed to lower the performance. Moreover, in a container having a multilayer structure in which a polyamide layer or a polyester layer is combined with a polyethylene layer, it is difficult to obtain sufficient moldability. In addition, a multilayer liner including a polyamide layer or a polyester layer also has a problem that physical properties are likely to change due to water absorption.
On the other hand, in the container of this invention, it was formed with the polypropylene resin through the intermediate layer formed with the polyolefin resin (B) inside the outer layer formed with the polyethylene resin (A). An inner layer is formed. Since the polypropylene resin is excellent in heat resistance as compared with the polyethylene resin (A), even when curing is performed when forming the outer shell, no trouble occurs in the inner layer, so that excellent pressure resistance is obtained. In addition, as compared with polyamide and polyester, a polypropylene resin is less likely to generate gels and blisters and is less likely to be thermally deteriorated even if it stays in the extruder for a long time, so that excellent moldability can be ensured. Thus, the container of the present invention can achieve both excellent pressure resistance and moldability.
Moreover, since the container of this invention does not need to form a polyamide layer or a polyester layer, a physical property change can also be suppressed by water absorption.
The container of the present invention is not limited to the container 1 described above. For example, the container of the present invention may be a container that does not include an outer shell made of a fiber reinforced resin material.

Production conditions and evaluation results are shown in Table 1.
As shown in Table 1, in Examples 1 to 3 including an outer layer formed of a polyethylene resin (A), an intermediate layer formed of a polyolefin resin (B), and an inner layer formed of a polypropylene resin, Even after the epoxy resin composition constituting the fiber reinforced resin material forming the outer shell was cured, the container body was not deformed, and excellent pressure resistance was obtained.
On the other hand, in Comparative Example 1 having no intermediate layer and inner layer, the container body was deformed when the epoxy resin composition constituting the fiber reinforced resin material forming the outer shell was cured, and sufficient pressure resistance was not obtained. .
Further, in Comparative Example 2 in which the outer layer is formed of a polypropylene resin and the inner layer is formed of a polyethylene resin, the container body is deformed when the epoxy resin composition constituting the fiber reinforced resin material forming the outer shell is cured. As a result, sufficient pressure resistance was not obtained.
1 container, 2 container body (liner), 3 outer shell, 4 base, 10 inner layer, 12 intermediate layer, 14 outer layer.
