In the embodiment described below, a dry submersible motor as an example of the submersible machine will be described, but the submersible machine is not limited to a dry submersible motor. Another example of the underwater machine is a dry underwater generator.
FIG. 1 is a view showing a submersible vortex pump apparatus including a submersible motor according to the present embodiment. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an underwater mixed flow pump device including the underwater motor according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2, the submersible motor which concerns on this embodiment is applied to submersible pumps, such as a submersible vortex pump and a submerged mixed flow pump. Hereinafter, the submersible vortex pump apparatus provided with the submersible motor will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, the pump device includes a submersible motor M and a pump P, and the submersible motor M is connected to the pump P. An impeller (not shown) is provided in a
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the connection between the
The distal end portion of the
A cable-side insulator (cable-side insulating member) 49 having a plurality of openings is liquid-tightly coupled to the
The
The waterproof connector includes a
An O-ring (seal member) 55 is disposed between the connector
A
The connector
FIG. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of FIG. As shown in FIG. 5, the
The female-
Furthermore, according to this embodiment, the fitting of the cylindrical walls (the cylindrical
As shown in FIG. 5, the waterproof connector further includes a plate-
The
The waterproof connector further includes a biasing
According to the present embodiment, the urging
The urging
FIG. 6 is a view showing an
FIG. 7 is a view showing a groove 69 provided on the
The waterproof connector may further include a
Thus, by providing the urging
The
In the present embodiment, the grounding process is performed as follows. The
Hereinafter, the connection procedure of the waterproof connector described above will be described. FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating a state in which the waterproof connector is connected to the

The

Next, the
In the submersible motor M configured as described above, the liquid tightness is sufficiently maintained despite the adoption of the connector structure. That is, the O-
Furthermore, the exposed
FIG. 10 is a package view when the pump device is transported. The shape of the pump device shown in FIG. 10 is slightly different from the shape of the pump device shown in FIG. For example, when the submersible motor M is transferred for periodic inspection, the
FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing another embodiment of the waterproof connector. FIG. 12A is a top view of a submersible motor M according to another embodiment, and FIG. 12B is a top view of a waterproof connector according to another embodiment. As shown in FIG. 11, the submersible motor M further includes a socket member (intermediate member) 70 disposed between the connector
As shown in FIG. 11, the
The
The
The
An O-ring (seal member) 77 that maintains liquid tightness between the
The
In the present embodiment, the
When the connector
In this underwater motor M, a
The number of screws for fixing the connector is three, whereas the number of core wires of the cable 37 (for example, the
Triangular flanges with screw holes at each apex are connected to each other, so that the flanges can be correctly connected in up to three alignments, and the flanges can be aligned without using dowels or marks. Therefore, the alignment work for connecting the flanges is easy.
In this way, the positions of the flanges are determined, and after the seal member is disposed at a necessary location, the connector is connected by fastening the screw. Thereafter, the
If gas is leaking, the gauge pressure remains low, or it takes time to reach the maximum pressure. On the other hand, if all the sealing members are arranged at necessary places and the fastening operation without gas leakage is appropriately performed, the pressure of the gauge immediately reaches the maximum pressure. Thus, in the submersible motor M according to the present embodiment, various contrivances for avoiding erroneous connection are made while maintaining the convenience and safety of connector connection work in the field.
In the above-described embodiment, the waterproof connector applied to the submersible motor has been described. However, the embodiment is not limited to this embodiment. The waterproof connector is also applied to electrical / electronic devices that are or may be used underwater or near water. For example, even if the waterproof connector according to the present embodiment is applied to a power supply part of an underwater work boat and a connection part of a vehicle power / control cable, an excellent effect can be obtained.
Conventionally, as a structure for preventing inundation at the introduction part of the cable to the device body, for example, (1) a structure in which the cable terminal is fixed and sealed with rubber packing or resin, and (2) the cable terminal in rubber or the like The structure which molds with the elastic body of this, and fixes and seals in this part is mentioned.
According to the above-described embodiment, there are various advantages described below as compared with the structures shown in the above (1) and (2).
1. There is no need to construct the connection between the cable terminal and the lead wire in a narrow space inside the motor, and the workability is very good. By making the cable introduction part of the submersible motor into a connector, it is possible to improve the assembly workability and simplify the transportation.
2. Since the motor cover and terminal block are not required, the top of the motor is simplified.
3. Since a thick and long cable is not connected during transportation of the submersible motor, the packaging work is simple.
4). Since cable connection is possible after installation of the submersible motor pump, accidents such as cable damage during installation can be prevented.
5. During periodic inspections of submersible motor pumps at the site, it is only necessary to first disconnect the connector while it is connected to the power supply control panel and carry only the pump body to the place where the periodic inspection is performed. To do.
6). When the cable is damaged, it is only necessary to procure only the cable locally and reassemble the waterproof connector, so that the device can be restored in a short time without disassembling the motor body.
Further, there are the following advantages compared to conventional underwater connectors.
7). Water that passes between the conductors or the core wires of the cable from the land side and enters the connector can be sealed in the cable-side connector, improving reliability.
8). In the unlikely event that the cable is submerged from the insertion part of the cable, safety can be ensured without electrical conduction.
9. The grounding work of the ground cable does not need to be performed in a narrow space inside the motor, and the grounding work can be performed in the waterproof connector, so the workability is very good.
10. Incorrect connection can be easily avoided.
11. It is possible to easily check whether the liquid tightness is maintained.
12 It is possible to reliably avoid a problem that the ground member and the ground contact intermittently contact each other.
