Abstract
Description
本実施形態に係る電池監視装置は、複数のセルからなり、開放電圧が数百Vであるリチウムイオン蓄電池と、開放電圧が12V程度である鉛蓄電池とを備えるハイブリッド車に搭載され、リチウムイオン蓄電池の温度を監視する電池監視装置である。
本実施形態では、電池監視装置の構成の一部が第1、2実施形態と異なっている。本実施形態に係る電池監視装置について、図2を参照して説明する。

本実施形態に係る電池監視装置は、図5に示すように、全体の構成が第1〜第3実施形態と異なっている。
・各実施形態では、各スタック110,120,130に対してひとつの監視回路を設けるものとしたが、複数の監視回路を設けるものとしてもよい。この場合には、各スタック110,120,130の最も低電位側から所定数の電池セル111,121,131、より具体的には、電源電圧よりも低い電位の単電池を監視対象とする監視回路にのみ、定電圧電源との接続状態を切り替えるスイッチを設けたり、電源を可変電圧源としたりしてもよい。これは、高圧側の単電池との短絡が生じた場合には、電源の電圧に係わらずA/D回路へ入力される電圧が上限値となり、A/D回路から出力されるデジタル値が上限値であることを条件として短絡の判定ができるためである。
Claims (9)
- 電池(100)の温度を監視する電池監視装置であって、
前記電池に対して設けられ、温度によって抵抗が変化する温度検出部(210,220,230)と、
前記温度検出部に電圧を印加する電源(311,321,331,511,521,531,611,621,631,711,721,731)と、
前記電源から前記温度検出部への電圧の印加を制限する制限部(312,322,332,511,521,531,612,622,632,712,722,732)と、
前記制限部による前記制限が行われていない場合に、前記温度検出部の電圧降下量に基づいて前記電池の温度を求める温度取得部(340,540,640,740)と、
前記制限部による前記制限が行われている場合の、前記温度検出部に印加される電圧に基づいて、前記温度検出部と前記電池との短絡を判定する判定部(340,540,640,740)と、を備える、電池監視装置。 - 前記判定部は、前記温度検出部と基準電位点との間の電圧に基づいて短絡を判定する、請求項1に記載の電池監視装置。
- 前記温度検出部は、プルダウン抵抗(313,323,333)を介して前記基準電位点に接続されており、
前記判定部は、前記温度検出部と前記プルダウン抵抗との間の電圧に基づいて短絡を判定する、請求項2に記載の電池監視装置。 - 前記判定部は、前記電源(511,521,531)と前記温度検出部との間の電圧をさらに取得し、
前記電源と前記温度検出部との間の電圧と、前記温度検出部と前記基準電位点との間の電圧とを比較し、前記短絡が前記温度検出部の前記電源側と前記基準電位点側とのいずれで生じたかをさらに判定する、請求項2に記載の電池監視装置。 - 前記温度検出部は、第1端がプルアップ抵抗(512,522,532)を介して前記電源に接続され、且つ、第2端がプルダウン抵抗(513,523,533)を介して前記基準電位点に接続されており、
前記判定部は、前記温度検出部と前記プルアップ抵抗との間の電圧である第1電圧と、前記温度検出部と前記プルダウン抵抗との間の抵抗である第2電圧とを取得し、第1電圧と第2電圧とを比較して、前記短絡が前記温度検出部の前記電源側と前記基準電位点側とのいずれで生じたかを判定する、請求項4に記載の電池監視装置。 - 前記温度検出部と前記基準電位点との間には、コンデンサ(615,625,635)が前記温度検出部に対して直列接続されており、
前記コンデンサには、抵抗(613,623,633)とスイッチ(614,624,634)との直列接続体が並列接続されており、
前記判定部は、前記制限部により制限が行われ、且つ、前記スイッチが開放状態である場合の前記コンデンサの電圧に基づいて短絡を判定する、請求項2に記載の電池監視装置。 - 前記電池は、複数の単電池(111,121,131)を直列接続して構成されており、
前記制限部は、低電位側から所定数の前記単電池の温度を検出する前記温度検出部に対してのみ設けられている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電池監視装置。 - 前記所定数は、前記電源の電圧以下の電位の前記単電池の数である、請求項7に記載の電池監視装置。
- 前記電池は、複数の前記単電池を含む複数のスタックを直列接続して構成されており、
前記制限部は、最も低電位側の前記スタックの温度を検出する前記温度検出部に対してのみ設けられている、請求項7に記載の電池監視装置。
