A first magnetic sensor that outputs a first detection signal according to a change in the direction of the magnetic field accompanying the first, a second magnetic sensor that outputs a second detection signal different from the first detection signal, and a first detection signal The first output signal that makes the slope of the first half of the brake pedal stroke steeper than that of the second half of the brake pedal stroke and the second detection signal are converted to the slope of the second half of the brake pedal stroke. And a signal generation unit that generates a second output signal that makes the signal steep.
According to the present invention, it is possible to improve the resolution in the period when the brake pedal is started and when it is finished.
(Summary of Embodiments of the Present Invention)
A stroke sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided at an end portion of a rotating shaft of a brake pedal that is rotatably provided in a vehicle, and is disposed so as to face a magnet that rotates according to the stroke of the brake pedal. A first magnetic sensor that outputs a first detection signal according to a change in the direction of the magnetic field accompanying rotation of the magnet, and a second magnetic sensor that outputs a second detection signal different from the first detection signal; A first output signal that converts the first detection signal to make the slope of the first half signal steeper than the second half of the stroke of the brake pedal, and a second detection signal that converts the first detection signal than the first half of the stroke of the brake pedal. And a signal generation unit that generates a second output signal that makes the slope of the latter half of the signal steep.
In this stroke sensor, when the brake pedal stroke is divided into the first half (stepping start period), middle and second half (stepping end period), the slope of the first half and the second half of the signal is steeper than the middle. Compared to the case where the brake pedal is constant, it is possible to improve the resolution in the period when the brake pedal is started and when it is finished.

The stroke sensor 1 detects the stroke L of the brake pedal 6 of the vehicle 5, for example, as shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b). The stroke sensor 1 is used in a by-wire type brake system 9 as an example.
As shown in FIGS. 1A to 3B, the stroke sensor 1 is provided at the end 100 of the rotating shaft 10 of the brake pedal 6 that is rotatably provided on the vehicle 5, and the stroke of the brake pedal 6. A magnet 12 that rotates according to L, a first

As an example, the stroke L of the brake pedal 6 is divided into a play period (ΔL), a step start period (first half), an intermediate step, and a step end period (second half), as shown in FIG. . The play period indicates a period in which the brake is not operated even when the brake pedal 6 is depressed. The stepping start period is, for example, a period from a stroke at which the brake pedal 6 is depressed to start the brake operation to a predetermined stroke. The stepping end period is, for example, a period from a fully depressed stroke to a predetermined stroke. The intermediate period is a period in which, for example, the braking force is often controlled by increasing or decreasing the force applied to the brake pedal 6.
(Configuration of magnet 12)
For example, as shown in FIG. 1B, the magnet 12 is a disk-shaped permanent magnet, and is attached to the rotating shaft 10 so that the rotation centers thereof coincide. The magnet 12 is rotatable around the rotary shaft 10.
The magnet 12 has an N pole and an S pole formed in a disk-shaped radial direction. A part of the magnetic field 120 of the magnet 12 passes through the magnetosensitive surface 20 of the
The magnet 12 is, for example, a permanent magnet such as an alnico magnet, a ferrite magnet, or a neodymium magnet, or a magnetic material such as a ferrite-based, neodymium-based, samakoba-based, or samarium-iron-nitrogen-based material, polyamide-based, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), or the like. And a synthetic magnet material mixed into a desired shape. In the present embodiment, the magnet 12 is a plastic magnet.
(Configuration of the first
As shown in FIG. 2, each of the first

The
The second
The
The first detection signal S 1 and the second detection signal S 2, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), a sine wave signal having a phase difference of 45 °. This sine wave signal becomes a sine wave having a period of π due to rotation of the N pole and S pole of the magnet 12. In this embodiment, as an example, it is assumed that the rotation angle θ ranges from zero to π / 4.
信号生成部25は、例えば、記憶されたプログラムに従って、取得したデータに演算、加工などを行うCPU(Central Processing Unit)、半導体メモリであるRAM(Random Access Memory)及びROM(Read Only Memory)などから構成されるマイクロコンピュータである。
(Configuration of the signal generator 25)
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1A, since the length of the brake pedal 6 is determined, the stroke L can be calculated from the rotation angle θ of the rotating shaft 10. For example, the conversion table 250 associates one rotation angle θ with one stroke L, and the voltage V of the first detection signal S 1 at the one rotation angle θ is the first output signal at the one stroke L. and it is configured to correspond to the voltage V of S 3.
The first output signal S 3 which is converted in this way, for example, as shown in FIG. 3 (b), the signal S 31 having a steep slope, a gradual signal S 32 is the slope than the signal S 31, but It has connected waveforms. Signal S 31 is the signal at the depression period of the beginning of the brake pedal 6.
For example, when the stroke L changes by 1 mm, the voltage V of the output signal changes by a (v), and when the resolution of the voltage reading of the
On the other hand, for example, when the slope is steep so that the voltage V of the output signal changes by 2a (v) when the stroke L changes by 1 mm, the
As described above, the signal S 31 of the first output signal S 3 is a signal having a steep slope, so that the
The second output signal S 4, for example, as shown in FIG. 3 (b), a moderate signal S 41 is tilted, the signal S 42 having a steep slope than the signal S 41, is coupled It has a waveform. The signal S42 is a signal in the period when the brake pedal 6 is depressed.
In the present embodiment, as an example, as shown in FIG. 3B, the steep signal S 31 and the signal S 42 have the same slope, and the gentle signal S 32 and the signal S 41 have the same slope. is there. The first output signal S 3 and the second output signal S 4, as shown in FIG. 3 (b), the voltage at the end and the first output signal S 3 and the beginning of the second output signal S 4 is To be equal. Note the inclination of the signal S 31 and the inclination and the signal S 32 and the signal S 41 of the signal S 42 is not limited to the same.
As a modification, the signal S 31 , the signal S 32 , the signal S 41, and the signal S 42 are not limited to straight lines but may be curved lines. In the case of a curve, the slope of a straight line connecting the start point and end point of the signal becomes steep or gentle.

As an example, as shown in FIG. 1A, the brake system 9 mainly includes a stroke sensor 1, a brake pedal 6, a

Based on the first output signal S 3 and the second output signal S 4 from the stroke sensor 1, the
The
For example, the
An example of the operation of the stroke sensor 1 will be described below.
(Operation)
When the brake pedal 6 is depressed, the magnet 12 rotates through the rotating shaft 10. The rotation of the magnet 12 rotates the magnetic field 120 and changes the direction of the magnetic field 120 (magnetic field vector) acting on the magnetosensitive surface 20.

(Effect of embodiment)
The stroke sensor 1 according to the present embodiment can improve the resolution in the period when the brake pedal is started and when it is finished. Specifically, in the stroke sensor 1, the slopes of the signal S 31 and the signal S 42 in the start and end periods of the brake pedal 6 are steeper than the middle of the stroke L of the brake pedal 6, so that the slope is constant. Compared to the case, it is possible to improve the resolution in the period when the brake pedal 6 is started and when the brake pedal 6 is finished.
Since the stroke sensor 1 can increase the resolution in the beginning step period, the accuracy of subsequent processing is improved. In recent years, vehicles are equipped with a system for operating a brake in accordance with the inter-vehicle distance. The
The
Since the stroke sensor 1 can increase the resolution in the end step period, the accuracy of the subsequent processing is improved. For example, when a woman who is weak in stepping on the brake pedal 6 or an elderly person is an operator, it is conceivable that even if the brake pedal 6 is depressed for a sudden stop, it cannot be sufficiently depressed. However, since the resolution in the period when the stroke sensor 1 is finished is high, the
Since the stroke sensor 1 has a limitation on the voltage input to the
Since the stroke sensor 1 has high resolution, it is not necessary to increase the resolution of the
The stroke sensor 1 is not limited to the brake pedal 6 and may be used for detecting a stroke of another pedal.
