Claims (20)

光学プローブから外へおよび被験体に前記光を投射するために、前記第1軸線および前記第1軸線に概ね垂直な第2軸線の少なくとも一方に沿って、前記拡散要素を出ていく前記光を方向付ける方向性光学要素と
を備える光学装置。 - 前記光源はレーザである、請求項1に記載の光学装置。
- 前記拡散要素は、表面拡散要素、回折拡散要素、屈折性拡散要素、ホログラフィック拡散要素、および相拡散要素のうちの1つである、請求項1に記載の光学装置。
- 前記光学プローブは分光装置である、請求項1に記載の光学装置。
- 前記光学プローブは近赤外線分光装置である、請求項4に記載の光学装置。
- 前記光源は、前記光を伝送するために、複数の光ファイバケーブルを使用する、請求項1に記載の光学装置。
- 前記方向性光学要素はプリズムである、請求項1に記載の光学装置。

- 前記光学プローブは近赤外線分光装置である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 第1軸線に沿って光ガイドに方向付けられた光を供給する光源と、
前記光ガイドの第1側に沿って近接して配置され、前記光源からの前記光を前記光ガイドの第2側に向かって反射するように構成された反射要素と、
前記光ガイドの前記第2側に近接して配置され、前記光源からの前記光および前記反射要素によって反射された前記光を、側方照射光学分光装置を出ていく前記光よりも前に散乱させるように構成された散乱層と
を備える、側方照射光学分光装置。 - 拡散層は、反射層と前記光ガイドの第1側との間に配置されている、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記光源は光ファイバケーブルである、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記光ガイドの内部に配置された複数の散乱装置をさらに備える、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記複数の散乱装置は、異なる屈折率または反射率を有する別々の物体である、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のスキャッティング装置は微小球である、請求項16に記載の装置。
