(b)出発ガラス、または石英固溶体相の結晶化のための核を含む出発ガラスを、850〜1000℃、特に890〜980℃の温度で、特に20〜600分、好ましくは30〜180分、特に好ましくは30〜90分の期間熱処理にかけて、本発明による高石英固溶体ガラスセラミックを形成させる方法を対象とする。
(c)出発ガラス、石英固溶体相の結晶化のための核を含む出発ガラス、または高石英固溶体ガラスセラミックを、1000〜1200℃、特に1050〜1150℃の温度で、特に10〜240分、好ましくは30〜200分の期間熱処理にかけて、本発明による低石英固溶体ガラスセラミックを形成させる方法を対象とする。
組成および結晶相
表Iに示した組成を有する合計14の本発明によるガラスおよびガラスセラミックを、対応する出発ガラスを溶融し、続いて、制御された核形成および結晶化のために熱処理することによって調製した。

を含む石英固溶体相を有するガラスセラミック。 - 38.0〜49.0wt%、特に38.5〜48.0wt%のSiO2を含む、請求項1に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 26.0〜38.0、特に27.0〜37.0wt%のAl2O3を含む、請求項1または2に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 6.0〜14.0、特に7.0〜13.5wt%のMgOを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 14.0〜18.0wt%のZrO2を含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 以下の成分:

- 高石英固溶体相、低石英固溶体相またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 高石英固溶体相を低石英固溶体相より多い量で含み、特に高石英固溶体相を主結晶相として含む、請求項8に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 低石英固溶体相を高石英固溶体相より多い量で含み、特に低石英固溶体相を主結晶相として含む、請求項8に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 酸化ジルコニウム、特に正方晶酸化ジルコニウムを結晶相として含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミック。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミックの成分を含む、出発ガラス。
- 石英固溶体相の結晶化のための核を含む、請求項12に記載の出発ガラス。
- 粉末、ブランクまたは歯科用修復物の形態で存在する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミックまたは請求項12もしくは13に記載の出発ガラス。
- 請求項13または14に記載の核を有する出発ガラスを調製する方法であって、(a)請求項12に記載の出発ガラスを、750〜870℃、特に770〜850℃の温度で、特に5〜120分、好ましくは5〜60分の期間熱処理にかける、方法。
- 請求項1から11または14のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミックを調製するための方法であって、請求項12に記載の出発ガラスまたは請求項13に記載の核を含む出発ガラスを、850〜1200℃の温度で少なくとも1回の熱処理にかける、方法。
- (b)請求項12に記載の出発ガラスまたは請求項13に記載の核を含む出発ガラスを、850〜1000℃、特に890〜980℃の温度で、特に20〜600分、好ましくは30〜180分、特に好ましくは30〜90分の期間熱処理にかけて、請求項9に記載のより多い量の高石英固溶体相を有するガラスセラミックを形成させる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- (c)請求項12に記載の出発ガラス、請求項13に記載の核を含む出発ガラス、または、請求項9に記載のより多い量の高石英固溶体相を有するガラスセラミックを、1000〜1200℃、特に1050〜1150℃の温度で、特に10〜240分、好ましくは30〜200分の期間熱処理にかけて、請求項10に記載のより多い量の低石英固溶体相を有するガラスセラミックを形成させる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 歯科材料として、特に歯科用修復物の調製のための、請求項1から11または14のいずれか一項に記載のガラスセラミック、または請求項12から14のいずれか一項に記載の出発ガラスの使用。
- 前記ガラスセラミックまたは前記出発ガラスが、機械加工によって、所望の歯科用修復物、特にブリッジ、インレー、アンレー、ベニア、アバットメント、部分クラウン、クラウンまたはファセットの形状を与えられる、請求項19に記載の使用。
- 前記核を含む出発ガラス、または請求項9に記載のより多い量の高石英固溶体相を有するガラスセラミックが、機械加工によって、特にCAD/CAMプロセスで、所望の歯科用修復物の形状を与えられる、請求項19または20に記載の使用。
