Abstract
Description
i. 非食物多糖とアルコールとの懸濁液を作る。
ii.段階iで得られた混合物に塩基水溶液を導入し、得られた混合物を室温で攪拌する。
iii.段階iiで得られた混合物にカルボキシメチル化剤等のアニオン化剤を導入し、得られた混合物を昇温状態で攪拌する。
iv.結果として得られた非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体を、回収の前に洗浄及び濾過する。
キシランのカルボキシメチル化によるアニオン性キシランの製造
非食物多糖であるキシランから置換度の異なる3つの試料を作製した。
非食物多糖であるアラビノガラクタンから置換度の異なる2つの試料を作製した。
合成されたアニオン性キシラン及びアニオン性アラビノガラクタンの置換度(DS)を電位差滴定法で測定した。試料の劣化温度(T10%)も測定した。
料理用ミキサーを用いて2分間混合した後、150 barの圧力でホモジナイザーを通過させることによってASAエマルジョンを作製した。
pH8.5の50/50の硬材/軟材のクラフトパルプ完成紙料に、前記例で製造した安定化サイズ製剤を加えることによって、80 g/m2の実験室用ハンドシートを作製した。得られた紙の加工処理では填料を使用せず、ウェットエンドでの澱粉量は5kg/tであった。安定化サイズ製剤の投与量は 0.75 g/tであった。歩留向上剤として K 3400 R(200 g/t)を使用した。

- サイズ剤と、キシラン若しくはアラビノガラクタン又はこれらの混合物を含む非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体とを含むことを特徴とするサイズ製剤。
- 前記サイズ剤がAKD若しくはASA又はこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体が、非食物多糖をカルボキシメチル化剤で変性することによって得られることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記カルボキシメチル化剤がモノクロロ酢酸であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体の置換度が0.03〜1.0であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記非食物多糖が、キシラン若しくはアラビノガラクタン又はこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記サイズ製剤が、分散液、好ましくはエマルジョンの形態にあることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体と前記サイズ剤の量との比が0.05:1〜0.15:1であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のサイズ製剤。
- 前記サイズ剤と、キシラン若しくはアラビノガラクタン又はこれらの混合物を含む前記非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体とを溶液中で接触させ、次いで、140〜160 barの圧力で均質化させることによって分散液を形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の安定化サイズ製剤の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の前記安定化サイズ製剤を、紙又は紙製品をサイズ処理するための使用。
- 前記安定化サイズ製剤のパルプへの投与量が0.5〜3 kg/t であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の使用。
- カルボキシメチル化剤と反応させることによって前記非食物多糖を官能基化する方法であって、
i. キシラン若しくはアラビノガラクタン又はこれらの混合物を含む前記非食物多糖とアルコールとの懸濁液を作り、
ii.段階iで得られた混合物に塩基水溶液を導入し、得られた混合物を室温で攪拌し、
iii.段階iiで得られた混合物にカルボキシメチル化剤を導入し、得られた混合物を昇温状態で攪拌し、
iv.結果として得られた非食物多糖のアニオン性帯電誘導体を、回収の前に洗浄及び濾過する
段階を有することを特徴とする方法。
