Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a head-mounted image display device.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a head-mounted display that is mounted on a user's head is known as an image display device that displays an image (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
The head-mounted display described in Patent Document 1 includes a main body having a display section, a frame section, and a temple section, and a nose pad attached to the main body.
Among these, the display unit is fixed to the left edge of the left and right eye display boards and the right eye display board respectively disposed in front of the left and right eyes of the user, and is used for the left eye display board. A left-eye optical unit that projects an image; and a right-eye optical unit that is fixed to the right edge of the frame and projects a right-eye image on a right-eye display board.
Further, the nose pad is attached to the frame portion from the user's nose side, and can be detached from the frame portion, and can be attached by selecting from a plurality of types depending on the size and shape of the user's nose. .
Note that the head-mounted display described in Patent Document 1 can be attached with correction glasses in which two lens units configured by vision correction lenses are arranged on the front side of the display unit. In addition to the two lens units, the correction glasses include a bridge unit that connects the two lens units and a suspension unit. The suspension portion has a bent portion straddling the main body, and an end portion of the bent portion is held between a holding piece of a holding mechanism that holds the nose pad and a mounting portion of the nose pad. Accordingly, the correction glasses can be attached to the head mounted display.
By the way, the shape of the nose with which the nose pad contacts varies depending on the user, but the height of the nose also varies depending on the user. Preparing a nose pad according to the height of the nose is not only a burden on the user, but also a burden on the manufacturer that manufactures and sells the nose pad. For this reason, the structure which can adjust arrangement | positioning of a nose pad according to the height of a user's nose has been desired.
Further, in the head mounted display described in Patent Document 1, the correction glasses are held between the holding mechanism and the nose pad. Therefore, there is a problem that when the correction glasses are not used, it is necessary to remove the correction glasses after removing the nose pad. Such a problem is used in accordance with the usage environment and application of the head mounted display, and a mounting member that is disposed on the front side of the display unit and reduces the transmittance of external light incident on the display unit is used. The same applies to the case.
SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is to provide a head-mounted image display device in which the position of a mounting member can be adjusted. Another object of the present invention is to provide a head-mounted image display device that can easily mount a plurality of members.
A head-mounted image display device according to a first aspect of the present invention includes: a display unit that emits image light that forms an image to display the image; and a frame that supports the display unit. Has a mounting portion to which the first mounting member can be mounted, and the mounting portion is a first direction that is one of an emission direction of the image light by the display unit and a direction opposite to the emission direction. The first insertion portion can be inserted between a first insertion port into which the first insertion portion of the first mounting member is inserted along a direction, a fixing member fixed to the frame, and the fixing member. It has a clamping member that forms a gap and clamps the first insertion portion inserted into the first insertion port with the fixing member.
Examples of the first mounting member include a nose pad that is in contact with the user's nose and holds the nose, and a lens holder that holds a lens for correcting vision.
According to the first aspect, the first insertion portion of the first mounting member inserted into the first insertion port along the first direction is clamped by the fixing member and the clamping member. According to this, the position of the insertion portion in the first direction, that is, the viewing direction of the image by the user wearing the head-mounted image display device (the viewing direction of the image by the user), and thus the first mounting member Can maintain its position. Therefore, the position of the first mounting member in the front-rear direction can be adjusted by adjusting the amount of insertion of the first mounting member into the first insertion port.
In the first aspect, the clamping member has a plurality of recesses arranged along the first direction, and the first insertion portion is disposed inside at least one of the plurality of recesses, It is preferable to have a restricting portion for restricting the first insertion portion from coming off from the first insertion port.
According to such a configuration, by disposing the restricting portion in the recess, it is possible to prevent the first insertion portion from coming off from the first insertion port, and thus the first attachment member is detached from the attachment portion of the frame. Can be suppressed.
In addition, since the plurality of recesses in which the restricting portions are arranged are arranged along the first direction, the position of the restricting portions, and thus the position of the first mounting member in the first direction can be adjusted stepwise. . Therefore, the position adjustment of the first mounting member can be easily performed.
In the first aspect, it is preferable that the mounting portion includes a cover member that covers the fixing member and the clamping member.
According to such a structure, it can be made difficult to observe a fixing member and a clamping member from the outside with the said cover member. Therefore, the appearance of the head-mounted image display device can be improved.
In addition, since it is possible to suppress the operation of the fixing member and the holding member from the outside, for example, the operation of releasing the holding of the first insertion portion by the fixing member and the holding member, it is possible to suppress the first operation. The state of 1 mounting member can be maintained reliably.
In the first aspect, the cover member includes a cover body that forms the first insertion port, and a slide member that is slidably provided with respect to the cover body, and the slide member includes the display unit. On the other hand, it is preferable to open and close the second insertion port into which the second insertion part can be inserted in the second mounting member arranged on the opposite side to the insertion side of the first insertion part to the first insertion port. .
According to such a configuration, the second insertion portion of the second attachment member can be attached to the second insertion port by sliding the slide member. On the other hand, when the second mounting member is not used, the second insertion port can be closed. Accordingly, since the second mounting member, which is another mounting member different from the first mounting member, can be mounted, the versatility of the head mounted image display apparatus can be improved and the second insertion port is closed. Thus, the appearance of the head-mounted image display device can be improved.
In the first aspect, it is preferable that the second insertion port is formed so that the second insertion portion can be inserted along a direction different from the first direction.
The direction different from the first direction is preferably a direction that intersects the first direction (for example, a direction that is orthogonal).
Here, when the first mounting member and the second mounting member are mounted on the mounting portion along the same direction, the mounting members are likely to interfere with each other. Similarly, after attaching one of the first attachment member and the second attachment member to the attachment portion, the other is attached. In such a case, the attachment and detachment of each member becomes complicated.
On the other hand, according to the above configuration, when the first mounting member and the second mounting member are mounted on the mounting portion, the first insertion portion that is inserted into the first insertion port along the first direction; It can suppress that the 2nd insertion part inserted in a 2nd insertion slot along the direction different from a 1st direction mutually interferes. Furthermore, even when the insertion of the first insertion portion into the first insertion port and the insertion of the second insertion portion into the second insertion port are performed at the same time, interference between them can be suppressed. Therefore, each of the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be easily mounted on the mounting portion.
In the first aspect, the first direction is a direction opposite to a direction in which the image light is emitted by the display unit, and the first insertion port is on a side opposite to the first direction in the mounting unit. It is preferable that the second insertion port is positioned on the first direction side in the mounting portion.
According to such a configuration, it is ensured that the first insertion portion inserted into the first insertion port and the second insertion portion inserted into the second insertion port interfere with each other outside the mounting portion. Can be suppressed. Therefore, the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be independently mounted on the mounting portion, and the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be securely mounted on the mounting portion.
In the first aspect, the display unit is arranged according to a user's eye, includes a light guide member that guides the image to the user's eye and transmits external light, and the second mounting member includes the second mounting member, It is preferable that the shielding member shields at least a part of the external light incident on the light guide member.
According to such a configuration, since the image and the outside can be observed through the light guide member, the versatility of the head-mounted image display device can be improved. On the other hand, the visibility of the displayed image can be improved by mounting the shielding member as the second mounting member on the mounting portion so as to be disposed on the side opposite to the user with respect to the light guide member. . Furthermore, since the said shielding member becomes detachable with respect to a mounting part, the shielding member can be selectively used according to the use and usage environment of a head mounted image display apparatus.
A head-mounted image display device according to a second aspect of the present invention includes: a display unit that emits image light that forms an image to display the image; and a frame that supports the display unit. Are arranged on the side opposite to the arrangement side of the first mounting member with respect to the display unit, and a first mounting member positioned on the display unit on the emission direction side of the image light. A mounting portion that can be mounted on a second mounting member, wherein the mounting portion is configured to be attached to the first mounting along a first direction that is one of the emission direction and a direction opposite to the emission direction. A first insertion port into which the first insertion portion of the member is inserted, and a second insertion port into which the second insertion portion of the second mounting member is inserted along a second direction intersecting the first direction. It is characterized by having.
As the first mounting member, similarly to the above, a nose pad that is in contact with the user's nose and holds the nose, or a lens holder that holds a lens for correcting vision can be exemplified. Moreover, as a 2nd mounting member, the shielding member which is located in the outer side with respect to a display part and shields at least one part of the light which injects into the said display part can be illustrated.
According to the said 2nd aspect, the 2nd direction which is an insertion direction to the 2nd insertion port of the 2nd insertion part of a 2nd mounting member is insertion to the 1st insertion port of the 1st insertion part of a 1st mounting member. Intersects the first direction, which is the direction. According to this, it can suppress that the 1st insertion part inserted in a 1st insertion port and the 2nd insertion part inserted in a 2nd insertion port mutually interfere. For this reason, the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be attached to and detached from the mounting portion independently. Therefore, when one of the first mounting member and the second mounting member is attached to or detached from the mounting portion, it is not necessary to attach or detach the other first, so that the first mounting member and the second mounting member are used as the mounting portion. Easy to install.
In the second aspect, the first direction is a direction opposite to the emission direction, the first insertion port is located at a portion on the emission direction side in the mounting portion, and the second insertion port is It is preferable that the mounting portion is located at a site opposite to the emission direction side.
According to such a configuration, since the first direction is the direction opposite to the emission direction, when the first mounting member is mounted on the mounting unit, the first insertion unit is the head-mounted image display device. It is inserted into the first insertion port of the mounting portion from the user side when mounted on the user's head. Then, the first insertion port is located on the mounting portion at the emission direction side, that is, the portion opposite to the first direction side, and the second insertion port is opposite to the emission direction side, that is, It is located at a site on the first direction side. According to this, it can suppress reliably that the 1st insertion part inserted in a 1st insertion port and the 2nd insertion part inserted in a 2nd insertion port mutually interfere. Therefore, each of the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be securely mounted, and these mounting members can be easily mounted.
In the second aspect, the first insertion port opens to the emission direction side in the mounting portion, and the second insertion port is when the user wears the head-mounted image display device in the mounting portion. It is preferable to open downward.
According to such a configuration, when the user wears the head-mounted image display device, the first direction is a direction from the back side to the front side (front side), and the second direction is from below to above. It becomes the direction to go. According to this, since the intersection angle between the first direction and the second direction can be increased, it is ensured that the first insertion portion and the second insertion portion inserted along these directions interfere with each other. In addition, the first insertion portion and the second insertion portion can be reliably inserted independently. Accordingly, the first mounting member and the second mounting member can be easily mounted. And since the 1st insertion slot opens to the user side and the 2nd insertion slot opens below, these can be made not conspicuous.

[Effect of the first embodiment]
According to HMD1 which concerns on this embodiment demonstrated above, there can exist the following effects.
The

The mounting
The
The

The
The
According to this, since the insertion direction of the
The insertion direction of the

[Second Embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
The HMD according to the present embodiment has the same configuration as the HMD 1 described above, but the configuration of the mounting portion and the shielding member is different. In the following description, parts that are the same as or substantially the same as those already described are assigned the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.

[Attaching the shielding member to the attachment part]
When the shielding

According to HMD1A which concerns on this embodiment demonstrated above, there can exist an effect similar to said HMD1.

[Modification of Embodiment]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and modifications, improvements, and the like within the scope that can achieve the object of the present invention are included in the present invention.
